Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 10, 2015/09/23) */ The customer purchased the truck "NO WARRANTY" from Rubes Auto in JuneAs suggested with the complaint at the time, that a balance and rotate may fix the "bumpy" issueAs Discount Tire stated that they could not touch the tires due to a safety issue, Rubes Auto contacted of their reputable tire stores that have been in business for over years, both stating that those tires that were on the truck at the time of purchase are rated fine for that truckThe truck can have a load-range D or load-range E tireThe load-range D tires that were on the truck were an ply tread tire which is required on a truck As far as the automatic start being recalibrated, that was never offered to be done by Rubes at the time of saleRubes Auto contacted a chevy dealership and were told that it should be just a reprogram of the remote start to fix the issue, but never stated that it would be done for free

Response received via handwritten fax to Revdex.com, 3/30/-- scan is attached.Text reads as follows: "Upon purchasing the vehicle [redacted] opted to purchase a service contract, which if need repairs there would be a $deductibleThe customer came in stating he needed a service contract claim at that time we offered [redacted] a service loaner which he stated he didn't needWe told him prior to leaving that the shop was booked but we would try to get it in, in a timely (manner)It was never stated that we weren't addressing the issue in a timely (manner) because of it being a service contract claimThe customer never stated he wanted a written estimate, he simply stated he needed it fixed because of being a work vehicleRube's Auto LLC fixed the vehicle @ deductible charge vehicle is on the road, customer never called to file complaint with usNo refund will be given to customer."

Not having received response to date, Revdex.com called Rube's Auto to get business response -- spoke to Joe, Sales ManagerJoe says Mr [redacted] initially came in about needed repairs to his travehicle, which proved to be quite extensiveHe says Rube's Auto performed some repairs, but that Mr [redacted] could not afford the full extent of necessary repairs, and indicated he wanted to trade the vehicle in on something elseAs Mr [redacted] had not paid the repair bill on his trade-in, Rube's opted to put a mechanic's lien on the Aviator(Joe says owner Tyler [redacted] was handling this aspect of Mr [redacted] 's situation, and he is not As for the condition of the Aviator, Joe indicates that although the vehicle was purchased "as is" under Minnesota Used Car Warranty Law, Rube's Auto was willing to inspect the vehicle and potentially work with Mr [redacted] on repairsHe says Mr [redacted] actually set an appointment with Rube's to bring the vehicle in, but subsequently cancelled that appointment to have a facial tattoo doneHe says the owner of Rube's Auto, Tyler Rubin, has interacted with Mr [redacted] on a number of occasions and attempted to get him to bring the vehicle in for inspection, but Mr [redacted] has declined each time, citing various reasons for not being able to stop in with the vehicleJoe adds that Mr [redacted] has been challenging to work with throughout this process, becoming combative with staff and using profanity in front of customers, which has made Rube's Auto less inclined to work with him, or have him back into the businessJoe says that at this point, Rube's Auto will not be able to assist [redacted] further

I am rejecting this response because: Mr Rube himself gave me a warranty on the truck I purchased, motors later the truck stl did not run as promisedI called the bank myself and said I was no longer making any payments on the truck until kt was fixed, they in turn called rubes and stopped dokng any finance llans for tbem until my truck was running, at that point rubes tried to fix but cpuld not, the motor sounding like is was going to blow upI eventually talked with the bank again and they told .e to go ahead and find anotber truck and they would work with me on it, rubes auto cost me $5,when I sold just so I could be done with them once and for allThe scrappy llaner cars rubes let me use wers no better, blown tired, excessive fuel leak on one, power steering pump blew out on oneHis dealership is a nightmare to deal with, Tyler Rune promises the world to make a sale and it never happensHe sells nothing but junk and has cost me a lot of money to get rid of himNow that im thinking about again I am going to go file a law suit, he cannot be allowed to treat people like this and should be in jail

Customer did complain that they believed their "stuff "was used when the truck was brought in for detail Although Rubes does not believe this is true,different employees did offer to send them a check for what they believed they were out for supplies they thought were missing When the truck was brought in for detail it was brought in caked with mud and customer wanted to wait for it,we did explain that a job that extensive was usually an all day appointment and he still chose to wait and was also in a hurry asking several times how much longer.Rubes believes we did the best job we could do in time givingAlso all paperwork has been turned in to obtain a duplicate title.We have been in contact with both parties...the grandson has been very easy going and understanding through the process,the grandmother not so much

I bought a used fxford truck ,I WAS TOLD THE STATE WAS BACKED UP ON ISSUING TITLES AND EXPECT TO WAIT A FEW MONTHS, I WENT TO THE DMV MONTHS LATER AND FOUND OUT THAT THE VIN# ON THE PURCHASE AGREEMENT DOESNT MATCH THE TRUCK VIN#,I CONTACTED THE MNDPS-DVS I WAS TOLD I HAD TO BRING THE PURCHASE AGREEMENT BACK TO RUBES AUTO AND HAVE THEM DO A NEW AGREEMENT WITH CORRECT INFO, UNFORTUNATELY THEY WERE SHUT DOWN IN JULY .SO I HAVE NO WAY OF DOING THIS.I CANNOT GET PLATES AND THE TRUCK IS NOT EVEN REGISTERED IN MY NAME NOW SO ITS BASICALLY A DEAD HORSE

I purchased a vehicle from Rubes Auto I wanted to use my Corvette as trade inI drove Clayton, a salesman to my corvetteWhen we returned to the dealer, I talked with Clayton's boss He agreed on a price for 12,TTY for a GMC Denali (2010) Sticker price 14,I took the vehicle for a test driveFuel light was on, windshield fluid light was on, no other lights on dashboard were onI had agreed to 12,for the vehicle and they agreed to pay taxes and tabsThe salesman entered 13,on the bill of saleDuring the closing of the sale I asked questions to verify my understanding of my purchase The salesman and manager changed the subject when I asked a question such as how my family is, along with other questions about the corvette I was trading inBetween the two of them they would change the subject around my questions, attempting to manipulate the discussionI purchased the GMC, drove across the street to the gas station to fill the tankBefore I got to the gas station the "Check engine" light went onI put gas in the vehicle and went back to the dealer (Rubes) I informed Clayton the check engine light came on, he replied that I knew the light was on, which it was not My daughter and son-in-law were with me and saw the dashboard with me, the check engine light was not on when I left the dealer They obviously hid the check engine light to mask any problemsRubes offered to do a diagnostic for an additional which I declined due to trust issues stemming from the manipulation of the sale price and check engine lightI have sought different opinions on the vehicleThere is on issue that will cost to repair and a second issue that will cost 1,to repair

My grandson and I bought a Fpickup from Rubes auto in MoraWe bought the truck in Dec We paid for tax, title and transfer on the vehicle, and it was financed through a local credit unionThey did not supply the plate in a timely manner, so we had to call them and ask for them
They told my grandson he had won a "free" detailHe went down and had them detail the truckThey used all his stuff, all his car wipes, and glass cleaner, Armor All etcand they did not fully "detail" the truckWhen we called them to ask why, they were very rude and said, "Well, what did you expect, a hour detail?" And said, "It looked like he had been mudding with it.." They did not even offer to replace the cleaning supplies they used, or to finish the detail satisfactorily

Got me a car very quick and easy even with poor credit!

vehicle and after discussing with his bank we were told to not do any more work or contact him anymore as they would handle it from there out

We bought an $vehicle from Rube's Auto on April 2, miles down the road, the service engine soon light came on We turned around and went back to the dealership who indicated they would 'make good' and 'take care of the problem' That was weeks ago and we cannot get them to call us back and give us an update on our vehicle We live hours away They haven't transferred the title to us even though they indicated earlier this week that was all completed I have left numerous messages with the owner who NEVER returns the call I stopped in there the Friday before Memorial weekend (May 2018) to get an update on my vehicle and they refused to tell me where my vehicle was They indicated the mechanical work needed was being done offsite but would not tell me where I talked to the owner (Tyler ***) who indicated that he wasn't sure of the mechanics name even though he also indicated to me that this mechanic does all of their Ford work We are so frustrated and fed up

Bought our vehicle from Tyler in May Very good customer serviceA few weeks later a problem occurred with vehicle, Tyler had it picked up, gave me a loaner, and fixed said problem free of chargeI say Rubes is a top notch company and would suggest this company to anyone looking for a vehicleThanks again Tyler and KristinKeep up the good work

The staff at Rubes has done nothing but treat us like family! They were super helpful and great throughout our whole buying process, which made us feel awesome! We love our new truck! I'd definitely recommend trying Rubes before you write them off cause of any negative review! I'd recommend them to anybody and everybody! Thanks guys!!

Lots of inventory and great customer service

Customer did complain that they believed their "stuff "was used when the truck was brought in for detail. Although Rubes does not believe this is true,different employees did offer to send them a check for what they believed they were out for supplies they thought were missing

I traded in my Dodge Ram truck for a Ford Ftruck at Rubes Auto in May Rubes Auto took my Dodge truck in trade and as part of the trade deal they would pay off the remaining loan balance that I hadThey did not payoff the loan on my traded in vehicle, and after numerous confrontational phone calls they did make several payments but there is still a remaining balance to date of over $They have also caused me to receive a day late reported on my credit for their non-payment

Bought truck jan 2nd 2017,finally got truck months later after I called financing bank,motor blew up the same day,motors later truck still doesnt run,now dealer wont fix truck,he gave me a warrent but never fixedTyler will not return a call,im guessing he never changed motor like he saidMany lies from owner on why its taking so long to fixmonths later truck is leaking oil,not running

Received call from Kari at Rube's Auto, providing business response to complaint.Kari indicates that this issue was actually resolved with Mr *** before Rube's Auto even received his Revdex.com complaintSays the vehicle was actually "held for resale" after trade-in, and Mr *** may not have been
clear on how this process works.Says she spoke to Mr *** personally about this situation, and believes his concerns have been addressed

I had traded my mercury Milan off for a Nissan Altima on August 22, and Rubes Auto has failed to pay off the trade in Balance to American Credit Acceptance I've been being harassed daily by American credit acceptance due to they went their money I don't own the mercury Milan anymore because I traded it now they wasn't the car out money What can I do??
