We are sorry that the complainant had issues with the RV owner he booked with.  We provided the complainant with a full refund on 9/2/17, and marked the owner's account for review for these issues.

We would be happy provide any renter with proof of purchase for their records, and have done so in this case.

We apologize that the complainant had a less than ideal experience.  This rental is currently in our dispute protocol, and has not yet fully been decided.  When there is a claim on a security deposit like this filed, RVshare gathers as much evidence as possible from all parties involved....

 After gathering evidence, RVshare then determines the ultimate handling of the case, as a neutral third party; this process is defined and laid out in our Terms of Service, which complainant agreed to when creating their account.  This case has not yet been determined, and we encourage the complainant to submit any evidence they have to us, as part of the dispute resolution process.

When a claim is entered into our dispute protocol, we have to go through a certain fact finding process before ultimately deciding on settlement. The dispute case for the complainant's issue was resolved today and they were awarded the money from the claim, which they should see in their bank account within 1-3 days. While I could respond to the other issues that the complaint brought up in their response, I don't believe it's worth the time for either party as we have apparently decided to part ways. Two important things to note, is that we don't withhold 25% commission on any damage claims, and also that directing renters who inquired through the site to go around the site is a very serious violation of our Terms of Service and provides an unsafe experience for the users of our platform.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me however the reason for the delay was not a  truthful one. The insurance that was mentioned only pays for damages while the RV is on the road, not while parked as in my instance. Also, I will add that the resolution only came after the promise of contacting the attorney general.
