I am rejecting this response because:Not only were the brakes bad, the windshield cracked, the cabin air filter contaminated, the steering wheel switches inoperable, the car filthy with a stench, windshield wipers need replacing and the gasket leaking oil, the mpg does not go above 28mpg indicating another issueThey knew it because several of these things were noted on the certification paperwork as needing attentionAll of these items should have been perfect upon purchase due to certified statusIf I wanted a regular used car, the you get what you get, but a certified car is supposed to be held to the highest standardThis was notAgain how does a car get signed off on as being certified by MULTIPLE people with all of the aforementioned items in disrepair? Is this not illegal? It seems like it falls under the Unfair Deceptive or Abusive Practices act and the California Deceptive Trade Practices law Why would I want to allow this business to again mislead me when they clearly had knowledge of the status of the car while it was in their possession? Again the signatures verifying the Certified StatusI just want all of my money back

We apologize for the misunderstandingThe original attempt to cancel the contract was misplaced after arriving at our business officeThe cancellation has been submitted and will be refunded to the customer forthwith

I am happy to talk with the specific employees as requested in the complaint, but the complaint did not include specific namesI did, however, talk with the service manager and the concern will be addressed in our next staff meetingWe are, of course, always concerned with the care of our customersI'm happy to offer the customer a free oil change [redacted] ***General Sales Manager

I am rejecting this response because:Everybody’s complaining has two sides of the storyThe dealer story is told after the fact that I signed the documentsThe first time they explained what they do is when I brought my friend and tried to make comprised Who would buy a car that dealer agreed $26,out of the door in verbal agreement to get your trustThen they stabbed behind your back???? Somehow they got me to sign a $45,contract for a carWho would that stupid?! My lawyer asked me if my signatures are in the contractI said yesThen he said that I can’t do anything about itI know I will lose in courtI don’t expect I will get my deposit of $4,backI treated it as my expensive lessonThe reason I file the complaint is that I want to let the public know if they will buy car from Hyundai dealerBe award their businessethic and how they can trap you in term of money.Thank you for listening

Per you request I will return the vehicle to your establishment by April 1, 2016. At that time I will sign the necessary documents and expect a full refund of all fees, taxes, etc., inclusive of the money spent on the extended warranty without exception.  Who will my contact be for this transaction? Do I need to make an appointment? What documents do I need to bring? How long can I expect this process to take?

Ms. [redacted] can return the car on or before April 1st and we will rescind the contract.

lame excuse.  Considering the numerous contacts I have made in the last four months it seems they should have been able to figure this out three months ago (misplaced form).  In addition, I have seen the blank [redacted] cancellation form.  It requires signatures from the car owner as well as Sacramento Hyundai.  I have never signed a [redacted] cancellation form.   But, we'll see how this goes.  I would request that you keep this complaint open until I can verify the proper credit appears on my [redacted] car loan.  Thank you for your help. -[redacted]

We apologize for the misunderstanding. The original attempt to cancel the contract was misplaced after arriving at our business office. The cancellation has been submitted and will be refunded to the customer forthwith.

for the car, all taxes and fees, and the optional products that she elected to add after the price of the car had been agreed upon. It is never our desire to have an unhappy customer. Ms. [redacted] is always welcome to come back to the dealership and cancel the cancellable products that she bought for a prorated refund.

We certainly do not like to hear that a customer is unhappy and will always make a valiant attempt to make every customer happy whenever reasonably possible. We absolutely would not sell an unsafe or unsound car to a customer. We are absolutely not in the practice of misleading, or...

misrepresenting to, our customers in any way.  Certified cars are certainly held to a higher standard. However, any pre-owned car with 53k miles is absolutely not going to be esthetically flawless. Some amount of wear and tear is a reasonable expectation. We are certainly happy to have Ms. [redacted] come back to the store so that we might inspect and address the windshield and brake concerns to be sure they were done correctly. We have high expectations for our service staff, but are also open to the possibility that they do, on occasion, make mistakes. If the brakes are, in fact, under minimum standards, we will absolutely replace them. If there are chips in the glass that are not repairable, or cracks exist, then we will be happy to replace the windshield. We will find and repair the issues with the steering wheel controls and detail the car again. Sacramento Hyundai does business to the best of our abilities, with the customer's best interests in mind, and in the spirit of long term business relationships defined by fair and ethical practices and mutually respectful treatment. Hopefully, these concessions will make Ms. [redacted] happy with the overall end experience.
