Neither the bill nor the contract state that the gutter guards are not returnable. In fact they have already taken have of the gutter guards back to their shop weeks a go.There are two still frames of the different movies showing the rain comes over the gutter guards. And the company and send me a check to [redacted] and made out to [redacted]. I would try and deal with them direct but I've made a number of attempts to content this company in person but they refuse to call me back. So if this info can be passed on, that would be great. We have spoken to the customer several times. It is our determination that problem is lack of maintenance therefore we will not be responding to any more complaints regarding this issue. If the customer wants to take us to court we will have a judge make a determination.
To whom it may concern: This letter is to address the complaint made by the above noted customer. The roof was installed in March of 2004 and we cannot locate any records of her complaints regarding the shingles coming off. I would like to request some sort of backup documents that...
indeed state she did contact us on those dates. Normally we would address the problem and note it on the file. She also states we wanted to charge her $2,740.50, but does not state what that amount was for. Could we see the estimate for that work so we know what exactly it was for? Again, we have nothing on her file. Lastly I noticed in her file that we did a repair for her on 1/8/2008 to repair her rake trim. If she was so unhappy with us, why did she request we do another job for her? Again, nothing on our files to indicate there was a problem. We strive to provide the best products, the best installation as well as the best customer service. If I can get the backup documents I can then address this situation. Sahlem's Roofing responded to an emergency call to remove ice and snow from Mr. [redacted]’ s home due to the huge amounts of ice and snow accumulated on his roof during the snow storm this past winter .
Mr. [redacted] is now blaming Sahlem's Roofing for missing shingles...
from his roof. There is no evidence that our roofers damaged the shingles as they very well may have come off due to the ice, snow and high winds associated with the storm as evidenced by many hundreds of homeowners in this area. We removed snow from hundreds of homes, many who lost shingles and not one of them has called to blame us for it.
In addition, Sahlem's will not be taking responsibility for damaging Mr. [redacted]’ s grill as there again is no proof that the damage was caused by Sahlem's Roofing.
If Mr. [redacted] would like to pursue this complaint he will need to contact his attorney and file suit.
