days after the Arizona lemon law expires, the used motorcycle ridenow sold me caught on fire while I was on it, ans ridenow sends a report from bmw? Bmw hasn't seen the bike in nearly years, ridenow and there service department are the ones who deemed the motorcycle safe to rideIt is unreasonable for ridenow to not accept any responsibility once again days I had the motorcycle

Mr [redacted] purchased a used [redacted] V Star motorcycle on October 6, Prior to him purchasing the unit, it was serviced on 9/12/ (at a cost of $491.14) and the tire pressure was checked, engine oil/filter, brake fluid, battery, and spark plugs were changed on the motorcycle (Second Tier Tune and Service) Just prior to Mr [redacted] purchasing the unit (we delivered it to his home), we rechecked the unit for its fluid levels and also added a battery tender The unit was in good working orderThe Motorcycle engine oil quantity to be used (per the owner’s manual) should only be US quarts This cost for this service was included (at a discounted price of $356.53) in the price of the unit under “”Dealer Assembly” As a good customer service request, we refunded the customer $(for the oil and manual that he purchased)We have expressed to the customer how he should check the oil and also what would happen if he overfilled the oil reservoir We will not be refunding the $356.63, as the work on the unit was performed per the information aboveCameron T***General ManagerRideNow Powersports Chandler

I don’t ever remember bringing up a specific speed but as the message said, they were unable to reach the speed at which the tire would wobbleI know the difference between a wobble from an unbalanced wheel and he engine vibration in my barsI took the bike to another shop that used the conventiaonal method of wheel balancing(with the weights mounted on the rim) and they got the job done without having to test ride the bikeThere was no wobble and I felt safeUnlike when I went to RidenowRidenow refused to listen to my input as if I didn’t know what I was talking aboutRather than fix the problem they just kept wasting their tech’s time by sending them out to test-ride my bike when I specifically told them not toThis is because the problem is not going to fix itself and is not the speed the wobble occursI take the bike to the track and we reach speeds over mphI can’t have unbalanced tires

Motorcycle was in good working order when it left dealership. Initial indications by local Yamaha authorized dealer that customer took to suggest contradictions to previous claims made by customer on this vehicle. Resolution to initial complaint was made. Mr*** has had many tires installed here using balance beads, his complaints on his recent set kept going unwarranted because he kept changing the speeds that the wobble was happening atThe customer stated at first it was at 60mph, then 70mph, then 80mph. My tech test rode the unit numerous times to try to duplicate the customers concerns which were unfounded We informed him that if he wanted them static balanced he would have to pay for that because there wasn't an issue with the repairs madeHe didn't like that and posted a bad review onlineAfter contacting the customer and let him know that we would do the balance for free in which he replied that he knew if he posted online that he would get what he wantedAt that time we rescinded the offer of doing it for freeCameron AT*** General Manager

Marie, Attached is the report (along with what our service department knew) about the motorcycle to BMW On page specifically, we mention what the consumer told us and a statement to BMW that we did a used vehicle inspection prior to the sale of the unit to Mr*** The customer

I had received the customers email from *** *** on 7/I attempted to contact the customer by phone that was listed on the emailCustomer didn't have a voicemail that was set upThen I received a call from Polaris customer service this morning 7/and they were stating that the
customer has called repeatedly and can never get a hold of anybodyPolaris customer service stated they didn't have any issue getting throughI explained to them that the unit was purchased in January, it is a model year and he says his fuel tank is cracked moafter purchasePolaris customer service gave MrJohnson my contact infoHe contacted me shortly after and he stated that he had been leaving messages with the sales deptand not service deptbecause it wasn't a service issueTo him it was a sales issue He stated that his frustration was from not getting return calls from the sales deptI informed him moving forward to contact me and that he has a extended warranty contract that we will try to get it covered underI informed him that we would not be covering a tank for him and would extend him a discount on the tank and labor if not covered under the warrantyHe informed me he would drop the unit off today or tomorrow to get inspectedHe was fine after the explanationDrew H*** Service Manager Ridenow Powersports of Chandler/Euro

There has been no contact between *** *** and the dealership as stated in complaint. The dealership received a phone call from individual representing themselves as *** ***, mother of *** ***. This individual, *** ***, is not related to the
purchase transaction. This individual indicates that there are some personal family issues involving a motorcycle that was purchased by *** ***. Individual states that she was disappointed that her son purchased a non-cancellable service plan contract without her approval. Individual stated that she has paid off loan acquired by her son and states they are selling motorcycle for personal family reasons. Policy purchased is non-cancellable policy that has been used on multiple occasions and is in full effect. The dealership is open to discussing in person with *** the details of purchase and providing to him copies of the contract if necessary. The dealership will also execute all commitments represented in Service Contract in full. The dealership will not, for Privacy Policy reasons, engage in discussion of transactional details with any person(s) unrelated to the purchase.There are statements made in this complaint that are factually inaccurate and out of context regarding discussions between *** ***, General Manager, and *** ***, represented as mother involving a phone conversation that took place on 7-24-15. It is also noted that there is question to what person has actually filed this complaint. As stated above there has been no contact as described in complaint between *** ***, General Manager, and *** ***.The dealership empathizes with the personal family issues that *** is working through with her son and his purchase decision she does not approve of. The contract purchased by *** is non-refundable
