First I am not sure how the response was vague? The advertising was very specific as to what was need to qualify for the price as advertisedIf you own a Mitsubishi, Saturn, Suzuki, Scion, or Isuzu then you would qualify for the additional $offIt is not offered for ownership of any other brandsSorry for any confusion this may have for you but my Mitsubishi Manager Warren M*** also explained this to you when you were at the dealershipAs for revisiting directly what this customer may have directly worked the day of there visit there is no record of a deal ever put together in our computer systemCustomer didn’t like what was told to them by the manager during the visit and immediately left with out receiving and actual final price. *** *** General Sales Manager Marina Auto Group

To whom it may concern: First I would like to apologize for the inconvenienceWhile I know the owner did reach out to you he is in and out of the dealership so catching him sometimes can be difficultAs for myself I have not received any voice mails regarding this issueAs for the listed
issues they fall under the manufacturers warranty and does not fall back on the dealerWe get authorized to complete any warranty work but a Lemon Law complaint has to be filed with Manufacturer Directly and or with the Attorney GeneralThe dealership is not responsible for a refund for a Lemon Law vehicle purchase on a brand new vehicle it falls back on the manufacturer to fix, replace, or buy back the vehicle if deemed a LemonWe will be happy to assist as best we can but we do not have authority to make decisions on whether it is a Lemon or not and what course of actions to take. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistanceSincerely, Lucas *** General Sales Manager Marina Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram

Revdex.com:Per the signed and agreed upon purchase documents Marina has lived up to replacing the Windshield and Second Key per our We Owe sheet in the dealAs well on the We Owe sheet is listed Remove SM Dent Under Driver MirrorIt sounds like we did attempt at having it repaired but were unsuccessful
Not sure myself of what and exactly where the dent is to if it can be fixed with paintless dent repair or would need more workAny other issues mechanically could have been looked at and possible handle here or any Dodge Chrysler Jeep Deal under Manufacturers warranty since at time of sale vehicle only had 12,miles on it as a Jeep WranglerAs for the inspection sticker on the vehicle with a crack in the windshield being legal can not entirely say because size, placement, time of when the stick was pput on the vehicle compared to date and time of delivery could be factors as well as the expansion of the crack after purchaseWe did agree to fix and did follow throughAs for any other concerns the Service department can look at an address per warranty but nothing else was agreed upon and there for no compensation is available. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance?Sincerely,Lucas R***General Sales ManagerMarina Auto Group

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowWe did receive a loaner yesterday afternoon, so that issue is taken care of However, the issue with the communication between us and the seller of the car about the tires on the car is still not taken care of I have attached a transcript file of the original e-mail communication between us and the seller to show that the seller did not say there were new tires on the vehicle In fact, the transcript of the e-mail which proves we have not altered anything, shows the seller saying there are new brakes and tires on the vehicle, which was sent to us on November 10th at 10:am prior to us purchasing the car We would still like the issue with the tires to be resolved We would still like new tires and brakes on the vehicle which we were told the car had. Regards, *** ***

Warranty was cancelled and check was issuedMessages were received and calls returned with no answer or voicemail fullThe check number for payment to the bank was #*** for amount of $There is no other settlement to be offered. Sincerely, Lucas *** General Sales Manager Marina Auto Group

The description of event is not entirely accurateYou were presented numbers subject to bank approval that you agreed toWhen you came in for delivery the lender gave different terms for financing then you had agreed toWe presented those terms and you took delivery of the vehicle complete
the terms of a sale under NYS lawThe letter you received was in regards to the fact that they didn't agree to the terms we submitted and then they agreed to the new terms you signed forHence there is no returning of the vehicleThe issues you have had with the vehicle are under Warranty and they do not warrant a NYS Lemon Law issue since they are not the same issue and all issues have since been addressWe could attempt at trading you out of the vehicle but as you have discussed with the salesman and other managers here we could not / would not be able to get you to a more agreeable payment or terms to which you would like and be satisfied with. If there is any additional questions or concerns please feel free to contact me. Sincerely, Lucas *** General Sales Manager Marina Auto Group

To whom it may concern: While I wish we where able to accommodate spot oil changes with out scheduled appointments we can notThere is not and was not a written or other agreement to such with the purchase of the vehicleWe do try to accommodate customers to the best of our ability but can
not guarantee same day oil changes and always recommend scheduling as the customer approaches the recommended interval for the oil change at every six thousand miles which is what is included with our VIP programThere is no cash value associated to the customer it is an internal expense the dealership obsorbs as good customer serviceAs such there is no refund to be offered and they are still able to get there free scheduled oil changes as agreed upon with there purchase at an every six thousand mile interval based off manufacturers recommendations using synthetic blend. Sincerly, Lucas Rigby Gerneral Sales Manager

To whom it may concern: The ad is very clearTo buy Mirage for $must qualify for all incentives listed clearly in the Newspaper ADThe $extra off must have Kia, Hyundai, Suzuki or Saturn registered in your name which is also in the ADNot everyone will qualify however all rules and
incentives are listed meeting all requirements for NYS. We will happily sell them the vehicle as advertised; as long as they qualify for all available incentives and additional discounts with one of the listed vehicles registered to buyer at time of purchaseSincerely, *** *** General Sales Manager Marina Auto Group

Marina Auto Group would be happy to repair the vehicle but not free of chargeThe vehicle had a 150,miles on it and as explained at time of purchase is not under NYS Lemon Law or any other warranties unless purchasedIf you have since purchased an extended warranty we would be happy to repair
it under the warranty or at customers expense. As for Jessica in our BDC (call center) they schedule appointments and have no knowledge of purchases, warranties, and or coveragesThey always respond to bring it in and the service dept then determines if it's a warranty cover item etcBased on milage of vehicle it came with no warranty and unless you purchased one there is no warrantyThey would have no knowledge of your purchases and its details and schedule everyone to come in. I do apologize for any miss understandingsPlease let me know if I can be of any further assistance. Lucas R***General Sales Manager Marina Auto Group

To whom it may concern: Below is the statement from our Fixed Operations Manager, Alan A***He addresses the statements made in the complaint and his stance that we have done everything in our contracts and above to remedy the issuesPlease let me know if this addresses the complaint.
Sincerely, Lucas R*** General Sales Manager Marina Dodge Chrysler Jeep RamWith regard to the complaint that I intimidated her, this is just a ploy on her part to try and get extra service at no cost to her. She only had a problem with me after I said no, then she escalated the complete situation. I think it is safe to say that based on the amount of money we put into this vehicle after the sale she has no grounds except to make it personal, as she is trying to do with me. If I had said yes to the window she would be calling me personally to set up her next service. Addressing the complaint regarding speaking directly with Alan A***; this customer had been on the phone with three different service people and had everyone researching the same thing. All three stated that she was rude to them on the phone. So, rather than having mass confusion regarding any issues she may have I took the lead and request that she speak directly with meThe seat belts on this vehicle passed inspection and there was nothing mentioned at the point of sale regarding them. If there was an issue with the seat belts it should have been mentioned in the negotiation of the sale. The same with the windshield. A chip is something that can be fixed and does not require replacement. We addressed the TPMS situation and until this writing we had not been aware that there was another issue with tire air pressure. We would be glad to address this problemOur position is that the windshield was an item that passed inspection, and further, was known about at the point of sale. Knowing this if the customer wanted the windshield replaced then it should have been negotiated into the sale agreement. She could have made it a condition of sale but did not. Please be advised that we tried to address every legitimate issue this customer was concerned about. It was not until we said no to the window replacement that this customer became rude and hard to get along with. She made it clear that she would complain until she gets what she wantsAlan A*** Fixed Operations Director

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11517768, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Regards, *** ***

There is not a required warranty by NYS for any vehicle sold with over 100,miles ( No Lemon Law Warranty )We do offer for an additional expense after market extended warranties during the finance signing processWe are not liable for any repairs after the fact and unless there is something agreed to in writing, we do not have it built into the purchase, and there for can not cover. Sincerely, Lucas R*** General Sales Manager Marina Auto Group

To whom it may concern: I myself sat down with Mrs*** on 11/3/and told her I would look into furtherShe did however after speaking with me proceed to purchase a brand new Mitsubishi Outlander Sport from the Marina Mitsubishi storeShe no longer owns the vehicle she had the issues withAs well based on my investigation the issues she had did not warrant a Lemon Law claimEven from the list of issues provided during the last statement the substantiate that they were all separate issues and are unfortunately beyond our control as wear items to fail over time and especially on a used vehicleThe vehicle did pass inspection at purchase and after all repairs; and as wear items they are the responsibility of the purchaser to maintain to pass inspectionEven as such under keeping a satisfied customer we covered the repairs, and have now traded her out of the vehicle. Sincerely, Lucas *** General Sales Manager Marina Auto Group

Marina Auto Group sold a used vehicle and covered all items discussed at time of purchase and those agreed upon after purchase under NYS Lemon LawUnfortunately we can not predict future repairs for a vehicle New or Used and there for are not responsible for them beyond the Lemon Law periodThe
only resolution we would have to offer would be an attempt to trade them out of the vehicleSincerely, Lucas R*** General Sales Manager Marina Auto Group

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowTo Whom it may concern, Obviously MrA*** is continuing to make this a personal issue on his behalf and not a strictly business response Truly I don't have the time for a who said she said disscussion with him I only wanted to state the facts and the grounds of my vehicle having issues that need need to be addressed I'm having a diffic*** time understanding why my driver side window has yet to be addressed within MrA*** reply, possibly because he focused more on falsifying information of me harassing his employees I am willing to have my TPS monitor system fixed once again through Dodge they aldineed to see that my driver side window gets a new motor My vehicle was sent to them with the intention that my driver's side window would be correctly repaired They only put some form of lube on the window track to make it work temporarily Please see that this is permanently fixed. I am also asking again to speak directly with another service rep and not MrA*** regarding the services to my vehicle in the future I apologize to MrA*** for his own personal issues that he may be dealing with, with hopes that he can get back to doing what he should be doing Which is providing quality customer serviceRegards, *** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
From the day I purchased the vehicle I have had nothing but wheel and
break issues along with engine issues along with all other issesI have
every single repair order and all my purchasing paper workI have been
in direct contact with service writer Mike *** who is no longer
with Marina Dodge and Paul *** Service ManagerI have spoke with
John *** on two occasion and he never offered any solutionLast
week I sat down and spoke with Alan *** Fixed Operations Director and
he did not look at the repair orders that were printed for our meeting.I
believe under the lemon law it states the vehicle has to be under
100,aND had the same isues that cold not be resolvedSeeing I have
had issues since deliveryPrior to delivery the jeep patriot need
to be sent out for bearing replacementOn 2/5/lower arm control
was replaced, front rotors and pads replaced and brake clean was done
On 4/16/replaced rear rotor and brakes replaced5/19/replaced
rear caliper pins and bushings6/12/removed rear wheel and cleaned
sliders and pads also replaced left front strut bearing mount8/29/
found wheel corroded where rims meet rotorsAlso the rear sway bar
bushings and links were loose, the upper half moon were worn10/21/
internal rear wheel bearing failure, both wheel bearing replacedLeft
rear wheel bearing had no signal speed after installation10/speed
sensor on left wheel will not read signalThere are more repair orders
for the same problemsI was told let us try one more time to fix the
problems over and over again and never directed to talk with anyone but
Paul, that is way I sat down and spoke with AL and he had no knowledge
of this problemI was never directed by your company to speak with
anyone else or how we could come to a resolution to this issueI have
collected all my repair orders and have my attorney reviewing all paper
work seeing Marina Dodge has had my vehicle on numerous occasion to
correct this issue while I continue to make payments on itI did
purchase a extended warranty for $with performance first
select, which I was told needed to have when I purchased the jeep
The salesman Michael ***, and the sales manager ( Rick) and women (
Michelle) that did the signing of the paperwork were all shisters and
we're looking to get sale in by the end of the monthWhen I test drove
this vehicle the original heavy duty slush floor mats were missing, the
detailing was charged out on the sales slip but was not done and had to
return there because they never gave my the temporary registration
sticker for the carThis has been a nightmare from the get goI hope
to see some resolution to this matter from Marina Dodge for all the
problems and time lost and paymen's I have had to make on a vehicle that
should have never been sold. Regards, *** ***

I have spoken with the salesman involved with this purchased and reviewed the email correspondences between him and the customerWe have five loaners available at any given time that may be spoken for by other service appointments, or others and there is no guarantee of a loaner unless it is
scheduled with one at time of setting appointmentAs well the email correspondence where they discuss brakes and tires is as follows: ""11/10/10:am, "Lou ***" wrote: Good morning, I just checked with my service department we replaced the front and rear brakes on the vehicle when we took it in on tradeSo the car has brand new brakes and tires on itOil change and inspection are also both updated recentlyLouis J***"" While I under stand Mrs***'s frustration we had described also programs correctly and Mr. *** *** is due in to pick up a loaner car any moment and upon speaking to the salesman Lou *** told us he didn't know there was going to be a complaint filed and he would have it removedI hope this answers any questions or concerns. Sincerely, Lucas R*** General Sales Manager Marina Auto Group

Mr***’s warranty covered $and we ate roughly $of Service work that we had no obligation to coverHe could have reached out to his warranty company to see if they would have covered a rental, however at no time had we guaranteed a loaner carWe have no monetary or other resolution for
Mr*** on his complaintWe have gone above and beyond. Sincerely, Lucas R*** General Sales Manager Marina Auto Group

To whom it may concern: Unfortunately this is the first I am hear of the issuesWhile I wish there was more we could do we have assisted with this to the best of the dealerships abilities by fixing things at dealership expenseWe offered at the time of purchase an extended warranty but
it was declined by customerThey purchased a Used Jeep Patriot with miles on it back on 03/31/We have done our best to accommodate the customer but the vehicle does not qualify as a lemon law vehicle since that time period expired some time agoThe only other solution I could offer would be for us to try and trade the customer out of the vehicle. Sincerely, Lucas *** General Sales Manager Marina Dodge Chrysler Jeep
