To Whom it May Concern, Thank you for the opportunity to clear up any issuesWe appreciate our business relationship and would like the proactively resolve any confusionTo change the offer on the agreement after it has been signed is a major issue and accusationOur company does not have history in acting in that mannerThe Merchant is not printed in our current bookThe Merchant is however receiving correspondence as their account is still active and can be published in our "electronic programs"We spoke with the merchant 5/4/and cancelation informaiton was sent to the MerchantWe have not received this formal cancelation from the Merchant in writing per their agreement5/5/a new agreement was also sent to accommodate the Merchant's change requestWe received no follow up or responce back from the Merchant regarding the change requestWe are unable to make changes without a new agreement or written confirmation from the MerchantWe are unable to cancel the agreement without formal written notice from the Merchant.We will resend cancelation information to the merchant, and remain open to working with the Merchant on their proposed offer changeWe must be of service to and legally hold all businesses in our programs to the same standard no matter how small or largeThank you.Sincerely,

This is my 2nd complaint on Save Around CouponsAfter my first complaint Robin W [redacted] did call meI told her we have tried multiple times to have our restaurant removed from their coupon bookOf course, lots of excuses but again I sent the certified letter on 4/(I have receipts on this)It delivered to their front desk at Front Street on 4/I have tracking delivery confirmation on thisI emailed her with all the attachments above to the email she gave meNo responseThey are just waiting out the time limit so we can not be removedCoupon book goes to print in summerShe did not tell me what month but these go to schools in the fall as fund raiserI'm not sure how all this works and how they get their money but several restaurants in the Mt Pleasant area are in this coupon book against their willThis really does need to stop.We want to be removed from coupon bookThis cost us thousands of dollars yearlyIf we don't honor coupons, the complaints etcon social media would be devastatingAfter all, its a fund raiser for schoolI want a written confirmation that we are removed and if we are in the coupon book, we will take legal action to recoup lost revenue for the yearWe've had enough

To Whom it may concern,There is a legal merchant agreement on file signed by the owner on 8/13/to be published in our fundraising coupon book programThe agreement authorizes SaveAround to include them in our fundraising coupon book programPer the terms of this merchant agreement, notice of cancellation must be sent in writing prior to the cancellation deadlineCoupons have been in circulation as of August 2015, and an ad copy for this edition was sent to the owner via email in April of coupons have been honored by the merchant without concern, or any complaint until nowOur office has been in contact with the owner on several occasions, (2/10, 2/11, 2/and again 2/18) regarding their concernWe are currently updating the new logo provided by the owner and continue to work with them on the merchant agreement in place.Sincerely,Merchant Relations

Dear Merchant,I would again like to point out that SaveAround's polices are to be transparent regarding program information and merchant agreement terms and conditions when signingOur sales team is highly trained to advise potential participating merchants on the agreement terms and conditions before signing. There are no incentives for our sales employes to be misleading as we work with many local business, schools and other community organizationsWe understand that our merchant relationships directly impact our mutual customer experience and local fundraising group sales. The merchant agreements comes with a carbon copy attachedOnce the agreement is completed and signed by a merchant and sales rep, the carbon copy is detached and is left with the merchant for their recordIf a copy of this can be email or faxed to me I can look further into if any of our policies were not followed and address this internally. As also stated in the initial response the restaurant is not listed in the edition, as we were able to replace the restaurant with a "like" merchantThe location has been removed from the bookThis decision was based in consideration for all parties involvedPlease let me know if you need any further informationThank you.Sincerely, Merchant Relations Team

As stated in previous response, I talked to Robin at Save AroundI explained the situationShe was very unhelpfulShe was aware of previous emails and that my year contract was up years agoShe stated that they had many different contracts and that mine had me held on yearly re-upAlso if business was sold that new owner would be responsibleThe best she could do was give me signs to post stating restrictionsShe stated that cut off was February and I was a week lateWhen I signed contract I was assured I could cancel at any time after contract ended. I am very unhappy with response and feel there should have been some better communication between save around and the businesses they represent to find out if they are willing to after their contractsThey try everything to keep you locked in and will do nothing to helpI would like to see the contract as I don't remember anything in there as far as cutoff datesThis date seems to be arbatrary.*** ***owner Bedford Creek Golf Course

It is obvious we disagree about the interpretation of the law General Obligations 5-903.You have received complaints about this very thing from other merchants as well I know of one just down the road from me.The obvious resolution is to not include me in the edition right off the bat The rest of the resolution could follow Unfortunately you just continue to ignore my fervent and obvious requests to not be included in the edition...which hasn't even been finalized yet...it is still in the proofing stage

Merchant Relations Manager initially spoke with the Merchant on 7/8/regarding the program, participation and agreement informationAt this time there was no request from the Merchant to cancel their coupons in our fundraising bookFrom this conversation and per the Merchant's request, a fundrasing coupon book and a copy of the agreement was sent to the Merchants home address.We heard back from the Merchant on 2/11/via email requesting to cancel the coupons in response to their ad copyThe ad copy is sent before books go to print and is not means by which to cancel the agreement but to check for errors2/12/our Production Team followed up to advise the cancelation deadline has past, and resent a copy of the agreement with cancelation information for the next edition. The Merchant eventually sent a cancelation letter 5/9/as instructed in the agreement after the deadlineSince the cancelation letter was received, our Merchant Relations Managers and Production Team Lead futher explained our cancellation policy over the phone and via emailThe terms and cancelation policy is also printed on the agreement sent back 7/8/and 2/11/2016. We have been transparent and consistent with our information regarding the agreement and cancelation policyWe have processed the advertisment to cancel December 31st, The ad will not print in the book or any future editions without a resigned agreementWe must hold all participating merchants to the same standardI hope we can come to some understandingThank you. [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]This problem seems to be at a stalemateEverything seems to go to Savearound while I am being forced to settle for what they offerWe have been with them for years and need to go in new direction because of circumstances out of my controlThe signed document I received by email is questionablePage one I signedPage two was a boiler plate contract covering Savearound only with our merchant number on itNo date No initialsI guess I will begrudgingly accept this IF I am a business this next yearI look forward to severing ties with this business.I received a book for the first time in years last weekDisappointed that half of the book is national business, many of which are not in the area while the local businesses have dwindledI guess that is tellingI will never sign a contract with an automatic againIf my business is worth anything businesses like like Savearound can ask at end of contract.
