To Whom It May Concern, The merchants cancelation letter was received 4/24/2017 and processed. April 23rd, was on a Sunday while our offices are closed. It may take up to 10 business days to process cancelations and send confirmation. A confirmation was sent in response to the merchants email on 5/8/2017. The merchant received the confirmation and responded 5/11/2017. Thank you. Please let me know if you require any additional information. Sincerely,

To Whom it may concern,There is a legal merchant agreement on file signed by the owner on 8/13/13 to be published in our fundraising coupon book program. The agreement authorizes SaveAround to include them in our fundraising coupon book program. Per the terms of this merchant agreement, notice of...

cancellation must be sent in writing prior to the cancellation deadline.2016 Coupons have been in circulation as of August 2015, and an ad copy for this edition was sent to the owner via email in April of 2015. 2016 coupons have been honored by the merchant without concern, or any complaint until now. Our office has been in contact with the owner on several occasions, (2/10, 2/11, 2/15 and again 2/18) regarding their concern. We are currently updating the new logo provided by the owner and continue to work with them on the merchant agreement in place.Sincerely,Merchant Relations

SaveAround polices are to be transparent regarding program information and merchant agreement terms and conditions. Our sales team is highly trained to advise potential participating merchants on the agreement terms and conditions before signing. There are no incentives for our sales employes to be...

misleading. The agreement is a one page document front and back. The content to be published in the book and contact information is on the front and terms and conditions are on the back of the agreement. We treat all merchants with the same respect as business owners. SaveAround must hold all participating merchants in our program to the same standard and cannot legally terminate an agreement before the term expires; however, we do keep merchants concerns into consideration. In the event one of our merchant partners finds the initial advertisement or offer is not working we try our best to come to a resolution. It is possible to update the coupon with an offer that works better for their business and fits the program standards. It is also possible to remove a merchant's ad from pagination due to space constraints if we can replace them with a "like" merchant as we must also fulfill our obligation to our schools and other community groups who have committed to selling the books as a fundraiser. The owner, signed a merchant agreement in person with one of our senior SaveAround sales representatives on June, 8th 2014. The agreement has an initial 2 year term for the 2015 and 2016 SaveAround fundraising book editions. The coupon offers listed on the agreement were discussed, agreed upon, and written on the agreement at the time of signing. Any artwork provided via printed material (such as a business card) would be used for the advertisement. If images are not provided, this grants SaveAround permission to design the ad per the merchant agreement.  Our local sales rep, and merchant relations team took the appropriate steps to communicate this same information to the owner and his new partner who took issue to the coupons.  Our team has follow up and attended to all concerns in a timely, respectable and professional manner. In the many attempts to come to some resolution with the owner and new partner they have responded in a hostile manner.  Please see the recored of communication below from account notes and email correspondence. The owner reached out to our merchant relations department on 12/14/2014 regarding the advertisement and coupons. Merchant relations contacted the owner's local sales representative regarding the call. The sales representative made an appointment to revisit with the owner at his restaurant, on Friday December 19th, 2014 to discuss his concerns and come to a resolution. While revisiting the owner there was no compromise or resolution made. The owner refused to review the contract terms over again with his sales rep and refused to discuss the options of updating the coupons to work better for his business. The owner called and left a message with our merchant relations department 7/21/2015  regarding the advertisement demanding his ad not be published in the next 2016 edition. Merchant relations responded to the owner's call on 7/21/2015 to address any concerns. Merchant relations spoke with the new partner who takes issue with the coupons. The new partner demanded the contract be canceled immediately.  Merchant relations advised the new partner the terms of the agreement between their business and SaveAround and advised that SaveAround cannot legally terminate the contract before the term expires. Merchant relations also explained that we have advised our schools and other community groups who have commented to selling books again of who is participating in the program.  7/22/2015 A follow up email was sent to the new partner to recap the call with merchant relations on 7/21/2015. The new partner responded threatening to breach the agreement and file a complaint with the Revdex.com.We value our merchant relationships and consider their concerns. In this case we had the opportunity to replace the merchants advertisement with a "like" merchant to fulfill our obligation to the fundraising groups who have committed to selling with us again this year. This business decision was based on consideration for all parties involved. Please let me know if you need any further information from me. Thank you .Sincerely,Merchant Relations Team

To Whom It May Concern,The Merchant reached out to our office 10/21/2016 requesting to speak with our Merchant Relations dep. and asking we respond within 5 business days or the issue will be referred back to the Revdex.com. Our Merchant Relations Manager responded within that time frame. After speaking with the merchant it was understood the conversation ended on a positive note. All information was provided regarding the agreement and our cancelation policy.Although we are unable to cancel the merchant agreement after the passing of the cancelation deadline, other accommodations were presented to support the merchant for any extenuating circumstances. As stated to the Merchant we must hold all participating merchants to the same standard. The merchant agreed to the terms when signing and has allowed the agreement to renew previously. We remain open to work with the merchant without loosing the integrity of what was agreed upon. I have resent the contact to the merchant for futher review. Thank you.Sincerely,

This is my 2nd complaint on Save Around Coupons. After my first complaint Robin W[redacted] did call me. I told her we have tried multiple times to have our restaurant removed from their coupon book. Of course, lots of excuses but again I sent the certified letter on 4/18 (I have receipts on this). It delivered to their front desk at 31 Front Street on 4/23. I have tracking delivery confirmation on this. I emailed her with all the attachments above to the email she gave me. No response. They are just waiting out the time limit so we can not be removed. Coupon book goes to print in summer. She did not tell me what month but these go to schools in the fall as fund raiser. I'm not sure how all this works and how they get their money but several restaurants in the Mt Pleasant area are in this coupon book against their will. This really does need to stop.We want to be removed from coupon book. This cost us thousands of dollars yearly. If we don't honor coupons, the complaints etc. on social media would be devastating. After all, its a fund raiser for school. I want a written confirmation that we are removed and if we are in the coupon book, we will take legal action to recoup lost revenue for the year. We've had enough

To Whom it may concern, We appreciate being made aware of the redemption issues. The concern and notification regarding this situation is very important to us and helpful in resolving any issues. All participating merchants in our program must have avalid agreement on file to be published in...

our book.  When the initial complaint was made regarding the 1st restaurant our merchant relations department follow up with the merchant to work on a resolution. We also responded to the 2nd complaint. All issuehave since been resolved. Both merchants in question are honoring all coupons. The customer should have no further issues using their coupon at any of the restaurants mentioned. We do apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you.Sincerely, Merchant Relations

To Whom it May Concern, Thank you for the opportunity to clear up any issues. We appreciate our business relationship and would like the proactively resolve any confusion. To change the offer on the agreement after it has been signed is a major issue and accusation. Our company...

does not have history in acting in that manner. The Merchant is not printed in our current book. The Merchant is however receiving correspondence as their account is still active and can be published in our "electronic programs". We spoke with the merchant 5/4/2016 and cancelation informaiton was sent to the Merchant. We have not received this formal cancelation from the Merchant in writing per their agreement. 5/5/16 a new agreement was also sent to accommodate the Merchant's change request. We received no follow up or responce back from the Merchant regarding the change request. We are unable to make changes without a new agreement or written confirmation from the Merchant. We are unable to cancel the agreement without formal written notice from the Merchant. We will resend cancelation information to the merchant, and remain open to working with the Merchant on their proposed offer change. We must be of service to and legally hold all businesses in our programs to the same standard no matter how small or large. Thank you.Sincerely,

To Whom It May Concern,Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention, and for providing us the opportunity to respond.  Any merchant published in our program must have a valid agreement on file. We cannot publish any merchant in our program without a valid contract. We deeply regret the...

Merchant is dissatisfied with the free advertising they are receiving. We take pride in the fact that we work with thousands of merchants every year to help them grow their business while at the same time helping fundraising groups raise money for worthwhile causes. The statement of the problem that the Merchant did not give SaveAround the authority to sell coupons to our establishment is not a fair statement. SaveAround offers free advertising where Merchants provide an offer incentive to drive business to their location. There is no cost to advertise in the SaveAround book.  There is an agreement on file signed by the Merchant authorizing the add and the coupons. The Merchant is aware of the agreement it entered into with SaveAround. We are willing to provide any documentation supporting these facts in hopes to resolve this amicably. This complaint [redacted] correlates with complaint [redacted]. Thank you.Sincerley,Merchant Relations,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The above response by this company does not resolve our issue!  The very first contact that we had with this company we told them we did not wish to be apart of their coupon book and they told us that was not a problem, hence force EVERYTHING in their reponse is false.  Their response is untruthful and not accepted by us.  They take no responsibility for their unscruplous buisness practices and do not deserve anymore of our time.

thereafter without notice of cancelation before the deadline. A cancelation notice to terminate the agreement in this case was not sent before the 2017 book edition deadline. The agreement has renewed for its second year. Ad copies are sent to the Merchant before books go to print.  The intended use of the ad copy is not means by which to cancel the agreement or advertisment but to check for errors. In response to the merchants request to cancel by way of their ad copy Our Production Team Lead advised the Merchant to send in a cancelation for the 2018 book as the deadline for 2017 was past.We would like to resolve this issue with the Merchant, if possible, and invite them to contact us directly.  We hope we can correct any misunderstanding. Thank you.Sincerely,

The agreement details have been shared with the merchant previous to the complaint, and again after the complaint. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I talked to Robin at Savearound. She stated that my 2 year contract, which was up in 2013, was automatically renewed. At the time I signed the contract I understood this but was never given a cancellation deadline. It was my understanding this was when the next years add was sent to me . This is usually in May but this year they sent it to me on Feb. 10. This is when I tried to cancel. She stated that their cut off was Feb. 1 (10 days earlier). I find this very arbatrary. They are very pushy and not very understanding. She stated I would have to honor the coupons if The business was still operating next year which is still in question. If the business  sells as is the new owners are liable and if it sells as a different business I will have to explain it to my customers. Very unhappy with consequences of dealing with this company as this is volentary.
