Review: Received a fraudulent invoice in the amount of $3,495 for Advertising insertion order (full color, standard page) in Life Sciences Business Development Directory. The invoice seem legitimate enough as it had all of our pertinent information, however if the invoice did not have our old CEO's name as the approver who left the company months ago it would not have raised as many red flags.

Review: SBC sends phony invoices to companies hoping that they will be incorrectly paid. They simply bill for services that were never ordered in hopes that unsuspecting companies will pay. They should be exposed for their business scam.Desired Settlement: I want them to remove my company from their scam mailing list and the business community should be warned of this scam.

Sincerely,

Review: We received a bill of $3,495 from Strategic business communications for advertising not ordered from them.,Desired Settlement: Strategic Business Communication should discontinue the practice of billing for unsolicited services, on the off chance Accounts Receivable of a business will actually pay them

Review: Falsely trying to collect on a service that was not ordered. This was a total SCAM.Desired Settlement: Please let other businesses know that this is not a legitimate business and the invoices are just a SCAM that they hope you will not question and just automatically pay.

Review: Deceptive attempt to solicit an advertising order. Mailed an invoice for $3,499 for a supposed ad order that we never placed nor requested. If we had paid the invoice, then our ad would run. Fraudulent and deceptive.Desired Settlement: This company should be forced to stop these deceptive and fraudulent sales tactics.

Review: We received a fraudulent invoice from "Strategic Business Communications" for $3499.00. This invoice is for "Advertising (Premium Listing)" that no one in this office placed an order for. The fine print at the bottom of the invoice says "Advertising insertions and premium listings are reserved for a period of 30 days from the invoice date and will only be confirmed when payment has been received."

This is a scam and all attempts to reach the company have been unsuccessful. We have left several voice mails. I will also be emailing them to let them know that I've filed a complaint with the BB and the United States Postal Inspection Service. We are NOT going to pay this invoice for a product we did not order.Desired Settlement: This company has obviously received numerous other complaints and a quick internet search for their business name reveals that other have had this exact issue. This company should not be able to keep sending fraudulent invoices for products not ordered.

Review: Recently, the Nativo, Inc. Accounting Department received Invoice # [redacted] from Strategic Business Communications. On the invoice, [redacted] was listed as the requester for a $3,499.00 advertising insertion order. [redacted] made it clear to me that he never requested any service from Strategic Business Communications. We wish to pursue disciplinary action in order to stop SBC's fraudulent billing practices.Desired Settlement: It is our hope that we can get Strategic Business Communications to stop sending fraudulent invoices.

Review: I have received what appears to be a fraudulent invoice for $3,499.00 from a company called Strategic Business Communications for a publication service that I did not request. Nor do I have any prior communication from this company soliciting this service. I have searched this company on the internet and found the following link which likewise reports fraudulent invoices associated with this company. Consistent with the experience of this posting, the phone number on the invoice leads to extensions where no one is available. [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like confirmation that this is a fraudulent invoice. I would also like to know what actions you are taking to end this practice.

Sincerely,

Review: This company sent a fraudulent invoice to my company indicating that payment was due for an advertising insertion order in the Enterprise Networking Vendor Directory. Were it not for sound accounting and payment processing policies within our organization, this fraudulent invoice might have been paid. What responsible business sends out invoices to companies that have never contacted them for services they have never ordered? This company should be shut down by the New York Secretary of State.Desired Settlement: Please shut this company down immediately!

Review: This company sent my company (OI Analytical) an invoice for $3,495.00 for advertising into their Life Sciences Business Development Directory. I have never heard of this company! I have never authorized a payment, never approved a purchase order, never talked to anyone from SBC Media Group or Strategic Business Communications. This company is a fraud! I did some research on them and they should be shut down and have theirs doors shut! How they are still operating is beyond me.Desired Settlement: I want it noted by Revdex.com and that is all and on the record. Thank you.

Review: Strategic Business Communications sent us an invoice for unsolicited advertising orders addressed to corporate "Accounts Payable" as though it had been requested by a senior executive. Their method of trying to get business should not be allowed.

Sincerely,

Review: Our company received an invoice showing an amount due of $3,495.00 with an approver's name, invoice number and other legitimate looking information. Upon contacting the person listed within our company, they had no knowledge of the Strategic Business Communications and had not approved the invoice being sent. A search revealed that this is a scam. The [redacted] listing for this scam suggested that we list our complaint with the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: Please see that this company is prohibited from sending invoices of this nature. Only agreed upon, quoted products or services should be invoiced.

Review: We received what looks like an actual invoice in our accounting department. The "invoice" is for a listing service which we never contacted the company for, therefore it is unsolicited but made to look like something ordered already.Desired Settlement: I would like for this company to stop these fraudulent practices as some accounting staff may not catch this as unsolicited and think they are required to pay.

Review: Strategic Business Communications sent us an invoice #[redacted] in the amount of $3,495.00 dated September **, 2015 for advertising insertion order (full color standard page) in their HealthCare Business Development Directory, which we did not order or approve to have printed. I made several calls to this organization on October *, 2015 to speak with someone but only get a generic voice mail recording, and was never able to speak with a live person. In looking at the Revdex.com website, I see that this organization has 30 complaints to date for similar occurrences.Desired Settlement: Our desired outcome would be for a full credit to be issued for invoice #[redacted] in the amount of $3,495.00 dated September **, 2015; and we do not want any further contact from this scam of an organization. Thank you very much for your attention to this matter.

Review: This company sends fake bills that says you have advertised with them in their Supply Chain Logistics & Transportation Vendor [redacted] - which I never did nor have I ever spoken to anyone at this company.

They send an invoice with all my info and a charge of 3499.00 due 30 days later. They are surely hoping someone will simply mail in a payment wthout question so this is definitely a scam

They do not answer the phone - it just goes to voicemail. I left a message. No reply. I am not expecting one.

They do send a very legitimate looking bill so someone may pay without realizing it. A terrible scam.Desired Settlement: I received one in the past and did not report it. I am now as I think this is a terrible scam and can see how someone may get roped into paying. They should be fined. But I would like the contact to cease. I have never done business with them

Review: We were invoiced by SBC for services that were not ordered and were not performed.Desired Settlement: Cancellation of invoice #[redacted], dated 7/**/2013.

Sincerely,

Review: We have received an invoice from this company for advertising in the Financial Services Technology Vendor Directory (2014 Edition). We never requested any services from this company and our multiple requests to provide us with any information behind the invoice and/or service ended with nothing: the emails we sent remained unanswered, the phone numbers listed on the invoice are transferred to a voice mail no matter when you call or which extension you dial. Our conclusion is that this invoice is fraudulent.Desired Settlement: We would like to receive an explanation of charges. If there is no work order to support the invoice we received, it should be cancelled.

SBC should stop its fraudulent practices.

Sincerely,

Review: Received a fraudulent invoice in the amount of $3,495.00 addressed to my company. Listed CEO as approver. Invoice is not clearly identified as a marketing tool. In addition, no actual information is given on what the product/service is that you have supposedly subscribed for. Bad marketing tactics.Desired Settlement: Discontinue the company's tactic of sending fake invoices.

Review: I received a bogus invoice. I found numerous other complaints on [redacted] and other blogs with the same complaint and all specifying the same amount.Desired Settlement: No further contact from this business.
