I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The seller stated that he needed my name because I was the homeowner and not [redacted]. I told him when he first came that I didn't want my name on anything because I had just purchased that house. They came in on false pretenses and this finance company holds all contracts and knows that not everyone pays the same price or they wouldn't have complaints. I do not wish for this company to send any correspondences again to my new address because I didnt ask them to contact me at all. They should not condone sellers lying to people just to get a contract as well how they jack up the price for some people!

ok so you claim you spoke with me several times to confirm that I was satisfied? Do you have records proofing that I said that? because that's not true. I don't know why we would have spoke several times to confirm that. That was the whole reason of not paying on it. When I spoke with with your company they told me I would have to pay extra to get the items I didn't get in the first place. I have the name of the sales person and texts messages stating the dates too.  Plus the amount being reported on my credit file is different then the agreement. I will sent you a copy of the what I have but if nothing gets resolved after that I will be contacting The Attorney General. This truly isn't fair considering I contacted your company right away to inform them I didn't receive my items and now that's getting covered up as if I never said anything! Again I will send what I have to show you I guess but your company knows.. I'm not the first person this happened to by your company.

May 2, 2017 Re: United consumer Financial Services Account [redacted] Dear [redacted]: I received your Revdex.com complaint regarding your purchase of a product from an independent merchant. Thank you for the opportunity to respond to your concerns. According to our records,...

a payment of $3,265.00 posted to your account on April I I, 2017. An electronic funds transfer was in the process of transmission and posted to your account on April 12, 2017. These combined payments closed your account as paid in full with a refund. A refund of the overpayment on your account will be processed May 5, 2017. A refund is generally issued approximately 30 days from the date a payment is posted to an account. This normal business practice allows sufficient time for any stopped or reversed payments to be adjusted on the account. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. if you have any further questions concerning this matter, please feel free to contact a customer service representative at [redacted], or by email at [redacted]. Sincerely, Karole D[redacted] United Consumer Financial Services

September 9, 2016 Ms[redacted] 3002 Paint Rock Killeen TX 76549 RE: United Consumer Financial Services (UCFS) # [redacted]       Revdex.com Complaint No. [redacted] Dear Ms. [redacted]: We received your Revdex.com follow-up message to our response to your Complaint regarding the unpaid balance for your account with us. Enclosed with this letter is the amortization schedule for your account with us; this amortization schedule details the payments we received from you, a breakdown of how each payment was applied to the principle and interest on your account, the finances charges as they were earned by us, and a calculation of the total payoff of your account, which is good until October 4, 2016 If you have any further questions, or need assistance, you can contact me at 1-800-344-5000, extension 6115, or you can reach me via email at [email protected]. Sincerely, Cheryl B[redacted] Compliance Department Enclosure

10/22/15. I just spoke with Mr. S[redacted] with UCFS.  He instructed me to look up precomputed agreement.  I did.. it states under department of Finance and Economics Compound interest may be computed in different ways. If youve already
signed on the dotted line, youre best bet is to make your payments as
scheduled(in which I did).  If lump sums are paid, they will also affect precomputed interest calculator the APR, as they lower the interest charges..  I called UCFS 10/15/15 tt Dawn and got the final pay off and was told $101.61 needs to be paid by 11/14/15. NOW look a the letter dated 10/9/2015  it states $125.63? - I sent $101.61 today(also verified with MR. S[redacted]) which would mean that I have paid the account off 1yr and 1 month early.  However the total amount I have paid with the precomputed interest is $1311.46 a difference of $29.90 saving for paying account off 1 yr early.  I just don't feel that it is right when the balance I had left after the $518.55 payment was $400.00. from march 2014 to September 2014 $73.40 was added to the balance in interest.  I can't see how UCFS can say this is right.  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

bringing this issue to our attention so we may address your concerns. Our records indicate that you signed a retail installment sales contract for the purchase of a consumer product (the "Agreement") on August 20, 2016. We send as a standard procedure a welcome letter to each [redacted] consumer of ours. We sent you a welcome letter on August 29, 2016. Subsequently, we were informed by the independent merchant who sold you your consumer product that you cancelled your Agreement. We apologize if this inconsistency caused you confusion. Please know that your account with us is closed with a zero balance, and you owe no further obligation to us. If you have any further questions, or need assistance, please contact us directly at 1-800-344-5000, extension 6115, or you can reach me via email at cb[redacted]@ucfs.net. Sincerely, Cheryl B[redacted]Compliance Department

Dear [redacted]:Thank you for providing additional information in your follow-up response to my reply to your Revdex.com Complaint. In accordance with the terms of the Agreement you signed, we assessed a late fee to your account only in the months where your monthly payment due was not received within 10 days after your payment due date, which was the first of each month.  Any payment that was made a day or days prior to the scheduled due date would not trigger a late fee payment. With that said, as a courtesy to you and a show of good-faith to resolve this, we are willing to waive the remaining balance on your account--currently $18.40.Please reply to this message and confirm that our waiving this balance of $18.40 will resolve your Complaint to your satisfaction.I await your response.  Respectfully, Timothy *. The 3-day period to cancel the contract was not verbally communicated and it is not "prominently" shown on the contract, but rather in fine print. The financed product is of low quality and very difficult to use, putting a lot of strain on my neck and back. I definitely do not want to pay over $2000 for something I will be unable to use. I respectfully request again that the finance contract and the sales contract be cancelled. I need [redacted] to remove the product from my household and the unpaid balance removed from my credit report.

wish to return the product. Thank you for the opportunity to respond to your concern. According to our records, you signed a retail installment sales contract (the "Agreement) for the purchase of the consumer product on June 14, 2017. We verified the terms of the Agreement with you on June 15, 2017. The Agreement was between you and the independent merchant who sold you the consumer product. We purchased the Agreement, thereby financing this transaction. A copy of the Agreement is enclosed. Under the terms of the Agreement, you had three business days to send in written notice of your intent to cancel the Agreement to the address listed in the cancellation notice section of the Agreement. Accordingly, you had until midnight of June 17, 2017 to send in written notice of your intent to cancel the Agreement. UCFS is unable to accept your request to cancel your Agreement at this time because your cancellation period has past. If you have any further questions concerning this matter, please feel free to contact a customer service representative at [redacted], or by email at [redacted]. Sincerely, Karole D[redacted] Compliance Auditor Enclosure

Dear Mr. [redacted]:Thank you for the follow-up information.  You are correct that my letter to you had at least one error on it.  The date you signed your retail installment sales contract (the "Agreement") was December 2, 2013, not December 3, 2015 as I stated in my previous letter.  I apologize for the error. The remainder of the information in my previous letter to you is accurate.  We spoke with you initially to confirm you understand your obligation under the Agreement, that all promises made under the Agreement were fulfilled, and that you were satisfied with the negotiation of the Agreement.  This is a standard verification we do with each of our consumers.Subsequent communications with you related to delinquent payments on your account with us.  In your follow-up communication, you state that you have proof from the independent merchant who sold you your consumer product that you did not receive all items promised under the Agreement.  Please submit this information directly to my attention at [redacted].  I will review it personally.Again, I appreciate you bringing this to my attention.  I remain available to assist you. Best,  Timothy [redacted]Compliance DirectorUnited Consumer Financial Services Company
