Unprofessional
Booked a load with scottlynn the rate con says date an time agreed .
Make it to delivery an the date is for the next day ..The wrong date is on the rate con ..Cant get a hold of no one after hours ..they offer 100 for the trouble I messed out on a load ..This is the second time this company has done this with my driver ..

Worst costumer service
This company is the worst in service, when you take a load with them they do not stop calling you and sending you emails to ask where you are even they have your tracking, and when you have to ask for detention time, they do not answer the emails, they give you Stupid excuses that the boss is not here, he has days off and when he comes back we talk about detention time, this is a lie, they never answer you back, they hand up the phone and they don't pass you to any supervisor when you ask to speak with him. My broker's name is Doug Johnson ([email protected]) but I was also contacted by Jack Cantrell ([email protected]) Dawn Wilson ([email protected]) and a whole DG-TeamDJ team ([email protected]) without any answer.

This broker is so unprofessional, they will tell the driver their appointment is; example 6:00am and when you get to the delivery place they will tell you No your appointment is at 11:00 am I call broker and they respond was I will see what I could do for you. I lost my second load and they did not want to pay me for delay. Berry unprofessional this people like to play to many games with their appointments.

Accepted a load with Scotlynn agent (Travis M). Load # ***. Dispatched driver to pickup load on the following day for appointment day (open apt time) and Travis gave the load to another company after it was already given to us. He claimed were unable to be reached for confirmation. The load was confirmed, signed and dispatched. The driver also sent me his text messages showing he was in communication with Travis. There were no issues on our end. The only conclusion I can come to is they offered it to someone else who would do it cheaper. That is a very unprofessional way to do business when it was already signed and confirmed. I had already purchased permits and driver was enroute when Travis canceled the load on us. When asked for compensation they replied laughingly...Nope. when I asked to speak with a manager, they hung up the phone. This is the second time this has happened and there will not be the opportunity for a third here. I would not recommend Scotlynn as a reputable or reliable logistic company. There are obviously some morality issues there.

we booked a load with them, and they offered $100 after 12 hours of detention

We do not know what company Julio is with or what shipment he is referring to in order to look into this further and address the validity. Thanks,
Ryan

Load 0188619 Gj ent llc. Brian h. email me this information before I booked the load at 4/28/20: For this shipment, the lumper is pre-paid. However, on all other shipments Lumper Fees are all paid for by Scotlynn.

Regarding detention policy, each customer has their own specific policy. I cannot comment on detention for this customer because I do not know what their policy is. This is not my load. If a detention situation should arise you will be taken care of.

When I requested the detention scotlyn offered just $100 after 12 hours

This is a complaint of unethical and fraudelant sales of Jake *** working for as a representative of Scotlynn usa division.

Specifically, Active Trading Society rescued a failed shipment for Jake *** Scotlynn usa division A freight brokerage, hired us Active Trading Society, we performed in an excellent manner ON TIME AND AHEAD OF SCHEDULE, we updated and communicated and documented each day with Scotlynn.....we were thanked each day and appreciated, we encoutered major delay and detention and layover, and was advised they had a screwed up shipment and was thankful for us. After completion and time to Bill, then Jake *** in a wicked and cynical manner viciously and decietfully complained how much money he lost and went further to harm us in describing us as exstortion artist, also claiming he only recieved two pages of BOLs. Through our research it was discovered he has a reputation of under paying fair market rates and enjoys large margins and he trys to be decietful to motor carriers.

Jake *** has viciously assaulted us and decietfully taken harmful action after getting us to brilliantly perform delivery EARLY AND ONTIME.

We are complaining and making aware to direct shipper and reciever of his actions towards us, at no other time has the Scotlynn organization been decietfu . Just in this action specifically Jake *** in retaliation he also attempted to interfere in another load out of anger and greed, we have documented, we have not spoken with his upper management yet.

Desired Outcome

A surety claim, or workout by upper mgmt, and action taken against Jake Shaw.

In response to the complaint on case # XXXXXXXX. The complaint was filed regarding a layover payment for a load done by Mr.. The delivery date for the load had to be pushed back a day, by no fault of ours, nor Mr.. We offer the industry standard $250 for a day of layover to our drivers under these circumstances. With that said we offered the $250 layover to Active Trading Society LLC. (Mr. company). The $250 was aggressively denied. Active Trading demanded $1,000 for a single day of layover, or they were going to drop the load in a storage. The commodity they were hauling was frozen food, any tampering of such without authorization would result in a claim. Active Trading did not seem concerned with this. Their intention appeared to be to hold the load of cargo hostage, until they received the compensation they demanded. With that said, an updated rate confirmation with an email confirmation was sent to them for the additional money they demanded to complete this load. To summarize, Active Trading had essentially extorted the additional layover from us, by refusing to deliver the load unless we cooperated. We have since removed the additional layover them demanded, and returned it to our standard layover fee of $250. I attached some emails chains to help provide additional insight into this situation.

Book load with Cody from Arkansas to Florida. Load was booked on 10/23. Pickup at shipper was for 10/24 @ 10am. We arrived at 8am on 10/24. Finally left shipper at 5:41pm. 1st drop Macclenny, Fl per rate confirmation at 14:14pm on 10/26. We call twice to verify delivery appointment with Cody M. & John L., was told yes that is appointment time. We arrive at receiver (Walmart) at 11:00pm on 10/25. Did a check call to John L. at 8:30am letting him know driver was okay for 14:14 delivery. Driver tried to check in at 11:30am for a 14:14pm appointment only to find out the appoint was in fact at 5am that morning, therefore they would not take it. Spent the rest of Friday from 11:30am till into the evening going back and forth with Cody M. on a resolution. I finally got ahold of Walmart receiving myself @ confirmed an appointment had been made for the following morning 10/27 @ 5:15am and got the confirmation number that my driver would need for delivery. Not one person from Scotlynn gave us the new appointment time nor confirmation number. We delivered 1st stop on 10/27 @ 5am. 2nd stop Arcadia, Fl. Arcadia never has had am confirmed appointment. Walmart receiving pulled the po and said it did have a tentative appointment for 2:15pm on the 27th but they would not take the truck because appointment was not confirmed. I spoke to Cody Miller on this issue, and he told me he has a screenshot of the appointment which is 10/27 at 4:15am. I asked him how that was possible because we were now delivering in Macclenny,Fl at 5:15am the same morning. No appointment at Walmart you are left just stuck out there... What happens to the last stop in Arcadia remains to be seen. In the midst of all this all you hear on the other end of the phone from both John L., and Cody M. is laughing as if this were a joke. Never again with Scotlynn they do not care about their carriers....
