and stoppage of music is caused when the app is buffering.  The speaker can only receive audio when the app is transmitting audio.  The audio interruption is not caused by a defect in the speaker, but rather the customer's network connection.  The customer was not satisfied with the explanation.  As a courtesy, we offered to evaluate the speaker at no cost.  However, the customer has to send the product to our service center for the evaluation.  Our offer for a free service evaluation will stand for the next 30 days.  iHome Support

We contacted the customer prior to receiving this complaint.  We left a voicemail explaining that a replacement product is being processed and will ship shortly.  She will receive the replacement via mail within 5 to 7 business days.  This matter should be closed.

We spoke to the customer.  We provided a prepaid shipping label to pick up the product and offered a replacement if it is deemed defective.  The customer seemed satisfied with the resolution.

Review: I purchased an iHome iW1 in December of 2014. I recently contacted their support department because the power adapter on the system failed. I requested a replacement, but was told I would need to pay for it. This company advertises a warranty and then refuses to stand behind it. Now I can't use my speaker at all.Desired Settlement: Replacement of the broken power adapter.

This complaint is a little surprising! We told [redacted] that we would be happy to provide an AC adaptor free of charge. We just requested proof of purchase to substantiate the warranty period. The product has a 12 month warranty. We haven't heard back from [redacted]

I am writing a update review. I sent my speaker to the customer service to get looked at. And received it with the package open with protective material missing and a missing manual. I finally received the manual. [redacted] contacted me and sent out a new manual. This issue has been resolved.

Review: My device says that the accessory is not supported by iPhone. My iPhone 4S is clearly marked as compatible on the box.

I received the [redacted] ID91 as a GIFT for Christmas 2012. The person who gave it to me lives hundreds of miles away from me. I should not have to provide the proof of purchase for a piece of equipment that is absurdly well within its warranty period. You can check the serial number to confirm. I have bought and enjoyed many [redacted] products in the past and maybe this should be the last. I am outraged (albeit not surprised) that there are SO MANY other people with the same issues; one only needs to look on ebay to find troves of [redacted] machines being sold "as-is" for the same defect that I am experiencing. Perhaps a class action lawsuit is in order.Desired Settlement: I would like either my money back or a free repair. The email I got from support said I need to provide the receipt, but I did not buy this piece of equipment. I received it as a gift. The machine looks brand new and I have taken great care of it.

Bought two smartplugs, one works, one doesn't. Try to submit issue to support using iPhone, and mobile site won't let me submit a query. These are simple things a customer should not have to deal with. So in the trash goes one of the plugs. Not ready for prime time in my opinion.
