Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I hired Allied to add a Sunroom to my homeI consistently begged them for over months to prevent it from leaking every time it rained. After months of requests person came out and made a repair to a section roughly ft long and left. It continued to leak and I continued to ask for Allied to stand behind their work. I received two in home visits over the next year by Mr *** who would look at it and assure me that the could and would make the necessary repairs. Unfortunately, those assurances never yielded any additional effort to repair the room and stop the water leaking. On Sunday May the 8th, I was promised by Mr *** that they would "for sure" get a repair person to address the leakingThey never showed or made any effort to contact me. On Monday May the 16th I asked AGAIN when they would be out and was then told I was "on the list" In an effort to prevent the flooding of the room when it would rain and assuming at this point that Allied was only interested in promising to make the repairs and never making good on that, I hired a third party to come and do the repair that was Allied Aluminums responsibility. The total cost for the repairs they made are $which I have a detailed invoice and pictures of the problems Allied ignored during their installations At this point, I believe Allied should reimburse me for this cost

*** *** *** *** ***These people have now set three different times promising to come out, never showing up or changing it every timeI have no confidence after this many months they ever willI had to cancel going to my Bible study on two different occasions attempting to make time available so these people could come and fix the doorOn both occasions, they were a no show

Revdex.chave contacted the customer and set a new time to adjust the product. We did respond respond to the customer and met with the at their home to check the issue. We told them we would contact them to set a time to do the service. They understandably wanted it done a s soon as
possible. They had called us before we were able to call and arrange a time. We apologize it was not as timely as they expected and there was confusion about the time that was evidently set. We will make sure they are taken care of. Thank YouAllied Aluminumus why here

I have been in contact with Allied, who has offered reimbursement for the expense incurred to make the repairs, however to date no check has been received.  Until this occurs, I consider the matter still ongoing.

Regards,
[redacted] Allied Aluminum Products, the company in which I filed my complaint against, contacted me after I filed the complaint requesting me to remove it. They said they would come and address the problem with their faulty installation the following week. They never called me again nor came to my house to even look at the installation of the door on my house regarding the initiated complaint. I have never heard from these people to date. It appears they have not attention of attempting to do anything regarding their breach of contract. The purchase price for this door and installation was $638.00.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Below are copies of emails to and from [redacted] that support my complaint beginning September, 2016.  Prior to the emails were numerous phone calls to and from [redacted] for several years where he promised to send someone out to repair the leak.  There was only one time he sent someone to do the repair, but it was not successful.  I had promise after promise from him to send someone and no one came.  I know it has been a long time since 2013 but I believed [redacted] would fulfill his promises and I think I have been more than fair waiting all this time. Please let me know if you need copies of the emails or just ask [redacted] himself.

No problem. Unfortunately our awning maker was unable to produce this as she explained. We will drop the $300.00 deposit in the mail. Thanks!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
This response is a rejection of a typical response made by a business trying to minimize any harm this complaint could do to their "family owned" reputation. This family owned business may be nice and easy to deal with when finalizing a sale and installing their products, but beware if you ever have any problems with the product that they sell you. Allied Aluminum lacks in customer service skills. This complaint could have been easily avoided if this information was communicated at my initial phone call. I would have been willing to work with them and paid for any reasonable labor costs involved in getting this defective motor (under warranty) removed and replace with a new one. But, months of ignoring, avoiding and trying to figure out what to do on Allied Aluminum's part only created frustration. An apology and reasonable cost offer to resolve this issue will be accepted only if I am contacted directly by phone or email by Allied Aluminum. I will not attempt to contact them again or refer their products and service to anyone else if I fail to be contacted. I will go elsewhere to resolve my issue.

This is not the outcome I was hoping for. I wanted the awning put up because it was a gift for an anniversary.  I feel the company took the easy way out. I also feel they gave me a low estimate and didn't want to honor it, therefore they backed out of the deal.

Please have her get in touch with us  We will make arrangements to caulk where needed.  Thx

We received a call one evening from [redacted] and before I could even check my messages and get back with him he had already contacted the Revdex.com. This  should not be considered a complaint. We have no problem helping [redacted]  Will contact him next week and see what is wrong.[redacted]

Revdex.comWe have reviewed this.  The background is that this is a manufacturer warranty issue of the motor backed by them.  This is not a labor or workmanship issue under our company warranty. We will try to assist the homeowner however we can and give them a cost estimate to remove the item...

from the awning so they can send it to the manufacturer for repair if needed.  The homeowner is not obligated to use our services if needed.   We will contact them and help any way we can. ThanksAllied Aluminum
