There is no proof that the technician (*** ***) in question had stolen the wallet or anything of that sortThe technician has been with Security One for over years and has never received a complaintWe can not cancel the contract by hear say or allegations that have no proofSecurity One has held their end of the contract and cannot cancel it without reasonThe buyout of the agreement is 80% of what is remaining on the agreementWe will have our customer relations team contact you with further information.

Security One has tried to reach the customer several different times to fix the issue that was at handWe could have credited the account for one month for all the inconveniences and when we tried to schedule a technician to go to the home, we were notified by the customer that they switched companiesWith this being done, the contract is still valid being that the service was refused by the customer and Security One was not given the opportunity to fix the issueThis was a simple issue that could have been fixedThe contract can not be cancelled based on those termsWe would need to go to the home and reprogram everything now that another company has taken control of your systemPlease give us a call at your earliest convenience

The buy out clause is located in section of the contract, a copy was given to you back in when you signed upIf you need another copy, we would be glad to send one to youYou can call our office at 888-584-and request oneSection states:
"customer will pay an additional amount as liquidated damages for breach of contract, not as a penalty, an amount equal to eighty percent (80%) of remaining payments which customer would have been obligated to pay from the effective date of termination until the end of the existing agreement termIf you have any further questions, please give us a call and we could work out a payment plan if necessary.

Security One will not charge to have a technician go out and repair the systemWe called multiple times in December to schedule a service technician to go out and replace some low battery's on the sensors that are under warrantyWe will also continue to keep trying to get a hold of the customer to
schedule this appointment asap and resolve the system issueAs far as being released from the contract without penalty, Security One will not release the customer without a penaltyThe system has been working and the service has been provided, we will continue to try and get a hold of the customer to resolve any other issuesWe will attempt to contact you today to have a technician in your area look at the system Thank You

This complaint needs to be closed outWe have spoken to the customer and he states he just wants to get out of the contract because of the wallet situation that has been addressed multiple times in the previous responsesEverything stands as has been said and the customer will have to pay 80% of the remainder of the contract if he wants it cancelled. We have sent a dispute for unauthorized credit inquiries to transunion, they require the person who received the unauthorized dispute to also log into their website (Transunion.com) and dispute it as well to expedite the processIf you would like, you can call into customer service and Security One
can send you a letter with company letterhead to give to the Loan Officer who will be processing the loan for the new home.

Mr***, We are having one of our Managers contact you and go over any issues you are having with the systemI noticed we had a tech out last month and everything was fixed on the system and it's currently still workingYou can go over the cancellation options with him as well. Thank You

Mr. *** I've reviewed the call that was made to your mom and everything that was promised was installed and is fully functionalShe was promised the wireless radio and she got it, it's a micro chip that's inside the panel to get wireless signal (like a cell phone) and not have
to have a phone lineEverything she was promised with the package that she decided to go with was installedI saw on previous account notes that you had called in to ask why there were no window sensorsShe did not get any with the package that she went with but if you would like, we would be willing to give them to you at a discounted price of $per window. I thought I had responded to this complaint through the online link but we've spoken to the customer and have told them that we were taking care of any alarm bill that they had due to the sensors tamperingThey just have to send them in so that we can take care of thatWe also are more than
willing to repair any sensors that have faulted beforeThere are no charges to have a tech go out and look and fix anything that needs to be doneIt was one sensor that had faulted but the rest of the system is working perfectly fineWe can not cancel out the contract if we are willing to pay the alarm fee and replace the one sensor that had faulted. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowWhat this company is saying is HIGHLY INCORRECT!! When this issue started with our alarm system after switching over to Security One's Monitoring service, as noted in my original email, the issue was NOT a low battery and Security One would NOT send over a technician to look at the alarm issue without a $service fee, stating that the issue was NOT covered under warrantee...they stated that it was issue with our phone system and when we had our phone company come out and look at the phone system, there was NOTHING WRONG WITH OUR PHONE SYSTEM (despite what Security One kept saying).
Security One stated that they have tried multiple times to call us to have a technician to come out and switch out low batteries...THIS IS NOT CORRECT. We have received multiple calls in the middle of the night (around 2am to 3am) stating no signal received, which was a automated call (we have this on our phone records and voicemail if you need them to be reviewed). This message did not state it was due to a low battery or for that matter give us the option to get ahold of a operator to help, even at 2am in the morning.
Given the lack of response from Security One, their bothersome random automated calls in the middle of the night, our alarm system making random noises that Security One would NOT come out and fix under warrantee without a $service charge, we had our alarm system changed to a different company. I no longer want or need Security One to monitor our system. I want our contract canceled given that Security One did not honor the warrantee to fix our system when we needed them, and is only looking into fixing this issue after contacting Revdex.com, and also now FALSELY claiming they have tried multiple times to schedule a service for our system under warrantee We do NOT trust this company for the safety of my family and home.
