The order was placed on October 6 and was delivered on Thursday October, 12,2017.We have no record of a call stating the lift was damaged and could not be used.  Our policy is for Med Mart to order a part or complete replacement and we do request you send pictures of the damage.  ...

According to our records we received a voice mail from you on Friday, October 27 at 3:43 PM and that message was played on Monday, October 30 at 11:28 AM.  In your voice mail you did not tell us that the lift was not longer needed, you just requested the damaged lift be returned.  Julie immediately had the Return Authorization to pick up the damaged unit and had a new unit shipped out priority along with a [redacted] tracking number.On October 30, 2017 at 3:00 PM EDT you left a message for Julie that you did not need a replacement lift at this time.  Julie sent you an e mail and instructed you to just have the replacement unit refused upon delivery, but their would be a restocking fee of $641.01 and shipping charge.  She did have several conversation with Invacare and was able to get the shipping charge waived.  I have attached the call reports and emails.I have also attached the policy for reporting freight damage and we have a good working relationship with Invacare so the first damaged lift was completely at no charge even though it was past the 48 hour window to report damage from October 12 until October 27, 2017.We do understand you were dealing with a lot with you Mother being discharged and your busy schedule.  I have spoken to our company president and I can offer you a $150.00 merchandise credit through out E Commerce.Sincerely,Sheila E[redacted] Compliance OfficerMed Mart

I bought this chair as it is supposed to accommodate tall people up to 6'8"; being 6'5" and the fact that they offer a 30 day money back guarantee made this expensive purchase a no brainer in my opinion. I ordered the chair had to wait 28 days for building and deliver; got the chair found it to short my my needs and when I tried the 2nd day after I got it, I was told that my 30 day guarantee run out that day.Clearly under the laws pertaining to  money back guarantees. A guarantee does not start until you get it in your home!Then they stated that heat and massage were an unreturnable extra; I went over their website for 3 days and could not find anywhere, where it states that the heat and massage option nullified your ability to return it.The chair is very painful, as my legs hang off the end more than 8 inches, how does this accommodate someone my height or taller? Your agent stated here that she could send me out a free footrest extension that would give me only 2-4 inches, when I asked her how you raise and lower the chair with the extension in place,she she you have to put that on after the chair is raised up, it will break off if you lower the chair with the extension in place. I asked how one is supposed to sit in a chair raise it put the extension on and get in and out of the chair, to that she disconnected from our chat session. I have included several pictures taken today that make my points.  As you see I have very swollen ankles and not allowing my feet and heels to be supported by this chair, leaves me in pain; since I can't use the chair for the purposes one buy a chair for a tall person! I have a chair that I paid a lot of money for (over $1700.00) that I really can't use correctly and being on SSD I would like my money back guarantee honored!I am going to file charges in this case with Ohio!,since this company is unwilling to honor it guarantee! Why should I or any elderly or disabled person have to be ripped off and treated his way?
