Our AC went out late Friday evening, and I tried calling several AC businesses who advertised emergency service None would come out until Saturday Because my husband has multiple serious health conditions, I needed someone that night Pamela at Service was so helpful and sent David out at o'clock Friday night He was able to get the AC up and running temporarily My husband and I decided to replace the AC and furnace, and had it installed the following Wednesday The installers, Vance and Shawn, had everything running within a couple of hours They were both so helpful and friendly During the time we were waiting for our new AC, David checked in with us to be sure the AC was still running We couldn't have asked for better service!

Had vent cleaning done, along with installation of a humidifier systemThe techs were on time, very pleasant, and had the job done in a timely fashion My only complaint is that damage was done to drywall at some of the vent sites, which required drywall patching and repainting It was very noticeable, but the workers never mentioned it Considering what this job cost, I should not have had the extra expense of repairing drywall......and should have had the courtesy of being told about the damage

On February our furnace went out and we called Service one in the hopes of restoring our heat We were told a tech would be at our home in minutesI was asked what was the type of furnace and how old it wasAlso whether they installed it
Once the person came out he went to the furnace and looked at the label and said the furnace was too old and they would not be able to get a motor for it (Our furnace was installed in 2003) He did not even perform trouble shooting to see what the issue wasRight away he said we needed a new furnace that our heat ex changer had cracks and we would run the risk of carbon monoxide poisoningThat a new furnace would be $ and Techs could be out in a couple of hours to installIf (the key was IF) they could get a motor it would be over $parts and laborIt was Predatory sales, trying to use fear to obtain a quick sale under duress
My wife and I were fed up with what I felt was a scare tactic to push a furnace on us which we were not able to perform our own due diligence
I wanted him out of our house, he then said there was a rebate which expired two days ago for $and he would apply to a new furnacehe then quoted $Next he said they had furnaces at the warehouses with dents or scratches which they may reduce prices I had to pay $for his "Service Call" He was not a technician but a high pressure salesperson with no ethics
We then called another HVAC company and it turned out it was a capacitor and not a motor, and our heat ex changer was in good shape with NO CRACKS
Our furnace is up and running and we have heat
I would like an apology and our $refunded

Great experience from the initial phone call for an estimate to the completion of the install of a new furnace, ac unit, and programmable thermostat Obtained several other estimates and found Service One to be our choiceJim did the estimate and answered his phone when I called with some questionsAdam and Aaron came on time as Jim had told me for the installThey put tarps down from the front door all the way to the furnace roomWhen the install was completed, they swept the furnace room floorSome of the existing pvc venting joints were loose so they took them apart and recemented them at NO extra charge! The office provided all of the completed rebate paper work for electric and gas companiesIf you need an estimate, call them and ask for JimWill definitely recommend Service One!

From the first initial call for a quote was probably the smoothest process everThey didn't even come to look at anythingI gave them all the specific information of my old AC unit and furnace and gave me some optionsHe asked me what I'm comfortable spending and went from thereWas the lowest quote I received from other companies and the AC unit/furnace is *** and not some off brandVance & Mike showed up in the morning to installThese two guys are greatProfessional, funny, and very knowledgeableFast forward a couple hourThe village inspector stopped us because I didn't have a permit and honestly had no idea that a permit was needed for such a jobI was the only one home and had to leave the guys I just met unattended at my homeI really didn't have a problem with it because they seemed very professional and TRUSTINGThen it turns out that the village wanted them to filled out paper work so then they had to go to the public works departmentFreaking nightmare! Great fast response Called for service at 630pm because my furnace wasn't running and it was degrees outsideI was told they would be at my home in 60-minutesDave showed up at 730pmHe diagnosed my furnace and told me what my options were and I opted for a new furnace He gave me a quote, at 800pm, and I asked when they could install itHe said he could have a crew out between 930-1000om that night Adam and Zack showed up about 945pm and worked until 245amI had heat!!! They were all very professional JOB WELL DONE!! I would definitely recommend them and will continue to use them for my HVAC work

Service one uses deceptive and scare tactics to get you to buy a new furnace from themAlso I asked for a detailed receipt showing the price of the furnace and labor and was told I couldn't have oneI was told companies don't do that anymore!?! I was told I would get years interest free financing but it would cost me $900.00!!!!! I should have ordered that salesman out of my houseAnd they have very rude office peopleStill waiting for my receipt and energy star paper

The best experience with Service One Installers were very nice and considerate and kept us in the know of everything that they were doingI would recommend them to anyone looking for their service

Service was recommended by a friend for replacement of my home HVAC systems
I obtained several quotes from other companies and found that Service was very honest and didn't try to sell me a system I didn't want like the others They were also the lowest cost for the system I wanted The installer, Vance was excellent, He was very polite, and knowledgeable He answered all my questions The installation went very smooth and left no mess to clean up Their name "Service 1" represents them perfectly

Had a humidifier replaced. Technician was very professional. Completed requested work in a timely fashion. Answered all questions to my satisfaction.

the date of service, November 28, 2013, at the address stated above. The company took the situation seriously and decided NOT to cash the customers check.
I am attaching a copy of the uncashed, voided check we received from Miss [redacted].
We feel we should not be penalized by this complaint, since we never charged the customer.

The actions of their employee [redacted] (officer gave his name). Their is no contract, a copy of so called billing with my last name missing and the two charges was all the officer handed to me. It's nice after the fact to void check, but I do not hear a sincere apology or that this company is changing their policy, other companies called afterward all disclose on phone a service fee upfront before you even talk to anybody. I will leave this matter up to Revdex.com, as nothing changes the fact that I was treated in this matter.

Jim arrived at my home on time for my free estimate on a furnace and a/c unit. He promised the installation could be done in 3 days and completed on that day. Vance and Mark arrived on schedule and completed the job that day in a highly professional manner. If my [redacted] equipment runs as well as the install I will be 100% satisfied.

Had a good experience with Service 1. After I had a different company service my A/C and quote me a price for a replacement, I called them for an estimate on a replacement furnace/AC unit. Jim explained to me the options for replacements and the benefits of each. No high pressure, no scare tactics. Just plain one on one questions and answers. The installation crew of Vance, Mike, Rey, and Tony were great. They were on time, professional, and very courteous. The system was installed with no issues. Vance took the time to explain the system from the ground up along with answering all my questions when they were completed. My home was cleaned of any remains from the old system and all the packaging from the new system was taken away. Overall a great experience.

We have now had our third experience with Service 1 Heating and AC and all have been positive. Had our aging furnace replaced two years ago, our air conditioner this summer and now had our ducts cleaned out(last time 12 years ago) in preparation for winter. Mike and Aaron showed up 30 minutes early for the scheduled appointment and were very professional and did a great and meticulous job. They reviewed what they found, made a few recommendations, and everything went flawless just like the installations in the past. I highly recommend this company!

Service 1 Heating & AC, Inc. provides excellent service and conducts themselves in a professional manner. The individuals that I dealt with: Vance, Aaron, Ken and Jim all made sure that my wife and I were completely satisfied with the job they did. They answered all of our questions, made themselves throughout the installation process and followed up on any concerns we may have had. I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to a friend, neighbor or colleague.

Vance & Rey were very efficient, knowledgable and friendly. I would recommend them and the company.
