My husbnad and I ordered new carpet from*** Home Improvement, which was installed by Service Pro A few weeks prior to the install date I painted all of the walls, the ceiling, and all of the trim in the room and up the stairsMy thought was to paint prior to the new carpet being installed in case I accidentally dripped paint
The day of the scheduled install, Service Pro called and said they had to reschedule because "the driver didn't go in to work that day" so they rescheduled for the next day They then cancelled the second install date claiming that the "drivers truck wouldn't start." Two days later the carpet was finally installed
When I arrived home to take a look at the new carpet I noticed a number of marks on the freshly painted walls, ceiling, and trim In fact, there were scratches and marks on 90% of the trim going up the stairs and the walls all had knicks and black scratchesEvery wall was damaged and everything needs to be repainted, including the ceiling The wall at the top of the stairs looked like a person covered in dirt rubbed his/her body along the wall for 3-feet
It has now been weeks since the install and nothing has been resolved I emailed pictures of the damage and no one has responded to them nor given me any indication of when and/or how it would be repaired The person I spoke with at Service Pro spent more time discussing how important it was for me to rate them at a or higher in order for them to continue getting business from*** than they did appologizing or discussing a resolution In fact, I was told that I should have expected damage since the edge of the carpet is rough

Service Pros lost my carpet runner/order I am still waiting for my carpet runner and I have been waiting since August 3,
Service Pros lost my carpet runner/order I am still waiting for my carpet runner and I have been waiting since August 3,

Amanda will not contact me using my preferred method
Amanda keeps calling my home number during the day (while I'm at work)to schedule a service warrenty issueI leave her my cell phone number but she never calls never calls that oneShe continues to call my home and leave messages that I do not receive until after 5:pm when her office is already closedI have left her my cell phone number on her work message system at least times

This is beyond unprofessional on how a business should operateOur time has been wasted todayIf no one was actually going to show up today it would have been a courtesy to just say that instead of leaving me hanging all day in the hopes that someone would actually show upThis has been one of the worst business transactions that I've ever doneIf this is the way that service pro does business then I will keep this in mind and no longer do business with anyone who contracts out through service proFrom it being so complicated to get in touch with someone in the beginning, to being told the wrong install dates, no one being held accountable, it's just excuse after excuseBeing told one thing then told anotherWorking with this business has been a huge headache from the start

Failure to complete warranty work in a timely manner Non-responsive to phone calls and messages
A Bali Bamboo floating wood floor was installed in two rooms of our home on April and 14, The product was purchased from *** I called Service Pros in February to discuss the movement/separation of the planks and requested warranty service work After months of waiting, a service tech came to complete the work (May 4, 2018) He left the job after hours stating that it cannot be fixed and that the whole floor needs to be replaced Having not heard from Service Pros, I called them on May 8, to discuss the replacement Jeanette, the installation manager, told me that the floor will not be replaced and she will order additional materials for another service call On June 6, we schedule a service date for July 13, Knowing that the Cali Bamboo must acclimate to our home for at least five days, I called Service Pros today, July 10, to find out what i

I was a little worried about using xxxxx who used Service Pros because of the online reviewsI work for a contracting company so my expectations were highThey did an AMAZING jobThey had a crew of guys who were very respectful, worked hard and cleaned up after themselvesI was very pleased with our flooring when they finished

We had new carpeting installed on 11/17/and while the craftsmanship was done well, the professionalism of the installation staff was nearly not worth the entire experienceLuckily I took the day off, because they showed up earlier than what we were originally told and left MANY hours after what we were originally toldThe lead man in charge was obviously knowledgeable and mostly considerate however, our door frame was broken (nothing was mentioned to us about it), they knocked into our ceiling fan with a roll of thick carpeting without an apology and got sharpie marker on our (THANKFULLY) unpainted wallsAs the day progressed, lots of arguing, cursing was endured by us in between the constant aroma of cigarette smoke in our homeThe kicker? There was at least a dozen nails and staples left in our driveway that I picked up to prevent puncturing my car tiresOne major thing that bothered me was the amount of outside nature that was brought into our house while they were installing new carpet, shouldn't there be shoe guards or something to protect the new carpeting? Overall, this was a gift to us, we did not choose this company, we are happy with the carpet but I think a review in professionalism is needed among the staff

My carpet install was scheduled for April 17, when my materials arrived early Service Pros was quick to ask if we'd like to reschedule to an earlier dateWe received a call during the newly scheduled install to see how things were progressingWhen they found out our installer was a no-show, they were very quick to apologize and found another available installer and had them there the same afternoonThe installer took pride in his work and did a great jobWould gladly have them back in my home

Waldorf MD location failed to install stair runner in timely fashion and is non-responsive to customer calls or calls from Lowes employees
Service Pros (Waldorf) did a partial carpet installation on Feb for carpet purchased at LowesThey measured and cut a stair runner and told us it would be about a week to do the binding and come back for the installWe heard nothing, so contacted Service pros several times and left several messages - none were returnedWe went through Lowes to complain Lowes was eventually able to reach service pros, but service pros refused to provide an update (other than to say it isn't ready and they don't know when it would be) A week later, we did the same thing and got the same result - nothing
Eventually we got in touch with the installation manager (Jennifer)Jennifer told us we should have been told it takes up to two weeks to complete binding and installA curious comment since we were well past two weeks at that pointShe insisted no

Company will not respond to request for warranty work on carpet installation
In August this company installed carpet in my basement that I purchased through *** They gave a month warranty on the carpet installation The carpet is coming up and needs to be stretched and re-attached I've been trying for weeks for this company to contact me to schedule someone to come and fix the carpet *** has submitted at least work orders and I've continuously called the company but no one answers nor do they respond to voice mail I would like my carpet repaired before the warranty period ends in August

Numerous communication issues including taking wrong information, not returning calls, and refusal to complete project per agreed upon scope
Installers laid the wood floor incorrectly to match existing wood floor They insisted on installing a transition piece that was not in the scope nor wanted Tried to muscle us into accepting this so they could go home Refused to do the cuts around a stone transition that was agreed upon Installed quarter round unsatisfactorily and when told to redo some areas, refused or blamed *** for not sending the right pieces Several holes and chips placed by them in the woodwork and wall Finally, after refusing to do the work, walked off the job While packing up, complained that they hadn't had lunch yet (it was 1pm) and wanted to go home earlyTo add insult to injury, they took some product (unused) with them After several phone calls, complaints, and escalating it to upper management, we have received no phone call back letting us kno

Terrible experienceThey sent a contractor with a criminal record who broke water line and flooded our entire house We had to call twice at midnight as contractor and worker were fighting/threatening to kill each otherEveryone Serv Pro sent out did more damage including urinating in our sinks and bath tubs NO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

We live in Lenoir NC, and purchased the top grade pergo max laminate flooring from Lowe's Home ImprovementWe was told how great the installation company wasThere would be no issues, everything will be smooth sailingAs other people stated, they will not set an appointment until the materials are sitting on siteNow during the time of placing the order and delivery we removed all our carpet , antique furniture, and everything elseWhen the materials arrive we are given an appointment of two weeks later
Installation day arrives, the guy shows up late by himself, his helper had gotten sick on their way to the job and had to be taken back due to the nature of the medical issue. That ok no problem with someone getting sick and seeking medical attentionThe installer tried to weasel his way out of starting the install that day I said the house is ready all you go to do is come install the flooringHe arrives stats he can only work a few hoursIt is suppose to be a two day job,so no problemHe installs two of the four rooms and says he will be back the next dayThey arrive back 8:30amI find a few spots that need repairedHe fixes those then they finish up and leaveThat night we find several more flawsLaminate chipped where the boards *** together, huge cracks between joints, uneven joints, and even a chunk out if the middle of a section where something was dropped The chunk had been placed back in the hole and tried to be repairedThe installer stated don't call Lowe's if you find anymore issues, call him
We called the installer , he stated will be out in the area next week and will repair all the issuesMy wife took off from work all day longA loss of income or the dayHe was a no call, no show
Now I am mad,I called Lowe's about thisI explained all the issuesNow we get the run around from service proThey never answer their phone .They might call back but don't hold your breathThey had another guy who is their inspector suppose to come outThen called the night before and stated he couldn't come because he had another
job to do in South CarolinaMy wife had taken another day off work and yes it was another lost of income
After months of playing phone tagThe repairs are still not done Lowe's can't force service pro to do the repairs apparently
Home Depot is thirty miles out of my way but if the job gets done right...it is well worth it..The service pro installers that service the Lenoir area are from Hickory Stay away from them

I'm now having to ask *** for the delivery fee and measurement fee after the *** office of Service Pros Installation Group, Incleft a message at pm the day before the installation to cancel and told me to return the tile I had chosen and select another tile But the entire process was sketchy start to finish: first they sent out an installer who used a laser to make measurements, it was the only person I spoke with and who visited, he was training a new hire, and after they left I never spoke with him again, however they did ask to take pictures and my permission to do so and I agreed I then started getting calls from the company: asking is the room clean, is the material thereetcand I would ask did you look at the pictures? The rooms were EMPTYmaterial was thereand I inquired how these people intended to do the tile, grout, and pull and set a toilet in one day? The quickcrete said dry for hours So I called the *** office and finally got through to the "installation manager" and I asked how are you going to pull and place the toilet same day? I suggested they pull the toilet and leave it off for the tile to dry and set and then two days later when they did the laminate in the adjacent room have that person place the toilet, the manager "agreed" at 10am that day, thenturned around and cancelled at and said get new tile he didn't like the stone tile I selected I told *** come and get all of it, I was paying 14$ a foot and they didn't have anything similar to what I had contracted already to install Now *** won't return the measurement fee and the delivery fee for tile these people refused to install Now here is the rub and final thing, the installation agreed at 10am, changed his mind at that tells me he did not understand what he was agreeing to or he simply BLEW ME OFF and didn't want to do small stone tile install that day Now on the other hand if they really had issues with the tile choice then via voice mail on a cell phone is the wrong time to make that decision I spoke with countess people from that company that didn't understand tile or were in training Sad thing is that *** use to send out local private contractors and the guy who would install the tile did the measurement, so there was no issues in communication or what would get done The service from this company was less than one star, they simply breached a contract at the latest possible moment and told me to carry the tile back to the store, buy something else, after having agreed to install the very same day! I cannot make this up*** is the manager at *** in *** PA and again I have embellished none of this

Customer service is awful did a bad job on my wood floors they have gaps between the panels have had them out here time all the guy did was kick the panels back together I have called them different times left messages and got no reply and my year warranty is up in September

I would never recommend this companyThey will not answer phone calls and do not show up when say they will*** is the ones that use this company for flooring

I apologize for this long review in advanceFirst I want to say the employees of this *** store in Matthews are generally very niceI have no complaints against the store personnelI wanted to install Pergo Max laminated wood floor in a rental property I own The group called Service Pros, a subcontractor for ***, came out and measured the property floor spaceNo problem thereI ordered the wood flooring at $per square footNo problem Installation was cents per square foot No problem
My concern is all the "nickel and dime" charges they add with the purchaseThey were going to add over $just to remove the carpet and vinyl I am sure *** received a cut of this chargeMyself and another person did it in one day. There were additional charges for installing quarter round and "threshold" at the doors This was about another $dollars in just in laborSo much for the 89cents per square foot for installationThey charged me $to pull out a refrigerator and stoveI pulled them out myself in about seconds, but I was still charged the $As you can see this cents for installation has not at least doubled!
I reluctantly called to set up a day for deliveryIt took about days to deliver the Pergo floorI called Service Pros (***' subcontractor) several days before the delivery to set up an installation date and they stated they would not set up an appointment for the installation until the Pergo floor was actually delivered and on siteI thought this would take 2-days after delivery for the floor to be installed I waited until the delivery day and called Service Pros They stated the earliest they could work me in was about two weeks after the delivery What would be happening if I actually lived in this house walking on the sub-floor for weeks? Luckily the house was vacant
So now we are about 20-days after ordering the Pergo flooring *** had told me it would be just a "few days" after ordering the flooringFinally, the momentous day of installation comesThe installer, who is a sub contractor for Service Pros, calls me and states (before he is even on site) there could be additional charges for "leveling" the floorIf the floor is not leveled, Pergo will not honor their warrantyYou got to be kidding me! The floor was level! He arrives at the home and states everything looks fine Several hours later he calls me and states the floors need to be "leveled" for an additional $ I think you may see a pattern hereWhat am I going to do I have now waited weeks to get this floor installed
These actions could be a common practice with floor sales and installation But I do not believe this is the moral way to do business with all the add ons and delaysI want to warn you ahead of time
The sad thing is I am probably not the only person this has happened to who did not write a reviewJust beware! Should this be the way they do business? Sorry for the long rant!

***' Floor install Issue - Poor workmanship, incomplete workNeed redo whole floor and repair damges to trims, door frames, etc
Floor install contract signed on 7/28/and work started on 8/We discovered the the subcontractor did a poor job on the floor install workMany floors did not align up and damages to the floor boardsSubcontractor also poorly cut the wall trims and multiple door frames They stopped work on 8/ The supervisor "Geovanni" and Quality manager "Michael" stopped by weeks later on 9/8/and agreed that the subcontractor did a poor jobQuality manager "Michael" agreed to remove unfinished floor left by the Subcontractor and start over again He agreed to replace all wood floor and wall trims but not the door frames He suggested a wood putty and epoxy calk fix to repair the door frames We do not agreed on his repair method as we already consulted home contractors and also the *** floor manager (Barbara) that recommended the door frames

SPI was supposed to install carpet and baseboards in one bedroom in my houseThe carpet has been installed but they have not installed the baseboards
I ordered carpet and baseboards from xxxxx on March 31, The installation was to take place on 4-19- The installer showed up and told me that he could not install baseboards even though it was on his work order to do so He called the office and gave me his phone to talk to the scheduler She explained to me that he did not have the correct tools to install the baseboards and that part of the installation would have to be rescheduled I was called on Saturday 4-28-saying that the installers were in my driveway and wanted to install the baseboardsThis was not a scheduled time They just showed up I was out of town and therefore I had to tell them it was not a convenient time and that it would have to be rescheduled They called back on 5-5-and asked if they could come the morning of 5-10-between 8AM and 10AM
