I wish I could leave a zero-star review Service Pros has to be the worst company I have ever dealt with We live in Florida, but own a rental cabin in Tennessee We needed about square feet of tile to be installed Easy right? Wrong! Once xxxxx handed this $6,job over to Service Pros in January, it has been a total nightmare First of all, I dare anyone reading this to call them The phone will ring forever If you are lucky enough to get their voicemail, don't waste your breath leaving a message They never call back When you finally speak to a human being, they apologize by blaming their phone system If this sounds like a management problem, it is
Our job began in early February My wife and I flew up from Florida to see our tile job done properly The installer noticed that our floor wasn't level after tearing up most of the floor tile Mind you, I asked xxxxx to check the foundation to see if there were any issues before even giving me a quote They told me there were no issues Either way, we were out of business for a month to get the floor jacked up They finished quickly, and we were very happy to get Service Pros out there to finish the tile job
In early March, my wife and I went up to the cabin again to finally see the tile get done We flew in on a Thursday night only to find out that the installer never showed up The next day, we met our installer, xxxxx, at about noon He was supposed to be there at My wife and I went to lunch, and returned about hours later to find that xxxxx was gone He didn't do anything Two days wasted The supervisor, xxxxx called me to see how things were progressing I told him nothing was done The next day, xxxxx calls me to add $to my $6,job because xxxxx needs more boards and leveling fluid xxxxx showed up around noon again My wife and I went to lunch again, and returned to find xxxxx missing again He put a few nails in for leveling and left Three days wasted I told xxxxx on Sunday not to worry about the upstairs bathroom because I feared Thursday's reservation may be in jeopardy even though it was Sunday Aswe left for the airport, I noticed the leveling fluid streaking down the stairwell and on to the carpet xxxxx promised to clean everything up
Believing our cabin was ready for business again, we rented it out for a few weeks By late March, our rental management company informed us that the tiles near the front door were loose She also told us that the toilet was loose, the grout wasn't completed, that streaks of leveling fluid were still on the wall and that the carpet was stained Obviously, nobody cared enough to check to see if the job was done By this time, xxxxx stopped answering my calls, and my new contact was xxxxx I sent her all the pictures, and she stopped contacting me My new contact became xxxxx He promised to have someone go to the cabin to take pictures and investigate the failed job The guy never showed We picked a different date for someone to go That person I believe was Steve He suggested a whole new job
I spoke to xxxxx again in mid April He said that he had heard about my nightmare at a conference, and assured me it would be done right this time I told him I did not want to block off dates again to my business without being compensated I called Service Pros to set up an installation date for job # We agreed on mid May xxxxx promised to get their best installer this time, and that the job would not take more than days Another failed promise After the 4th day, my rental management company called to tell me the installer wasn't finished and that we would have to cancel our upcoming 3-day reservation on the day our guests were coming Again, there was no notice from Service Pros I seriously don't think anyone communicates with each other there When I finally reached xxxxx, he told me the job took longer than expected and apologized The installer needed days and a 6th to clean up
Fast forward to Memorial Day weekend My wife and I went to the cabin again This time, to show off our completed tile job to friends and family My wife arrived ahead of me, and called me in tears The refrigerator was in the living room, the stove was on the porch, a huge pile of broken tile was left in the driveway, grouting wasn't completed, there were tiles missing and the streaks of cement were still in the stairwell Better yet, the cover to an outlet was never put back properly, and we lost electricity on two floors, blowing out two receivers in our theater room I had to call electricians on Memorial Day to fix the mess
Please don't ever consider using xxxxx flooring or Service Pros They are the absolute worst! I've spoken to over different people over the past months, and still no resolution

Got tile at ***, & Service Pros Installation has taken months to install, still waiting!!!
Service Pros Installation Group,(SPIG)came to my home measured and took photos of my bath roomThey set and appointment to do the installOn the appointed day, SPIG called and said they can't find the installerRescheduled the install and the installer said he couldn't remove my pedestal sink and walked off the jobThis is after (SPIG) rep came to the house and took photosThen rescheduled again & AGAIN couldn't find their installerThey are now telling me that I have to pay a plumber to remove my sinkI spoke to *** and they kept avoiding the phone calls and I went to the store on three separted instances to get this solved, with no help from themIn a week it will be months with no new tile

The crew walked off of the job unfinished; Customer Service never answered calls and didn't return voice mails
10/16/Carpet Installation crew came at 9:AM to install carpet It had rained the night before They had parked their van in my driveway and rolled out the carpet over the grass/driveway/mulch and onto the street to cut it They walked all over the new carpet with their construction boots onWhen I pointed this out, they laughedI asked if this was normal, they didn't respond I took pictures and said I'd go back to *** and share this with themthey were trying to tell me that my driveway wasn't dirty! I went inside and out of habit, locked the door behind me They rang the doorbell and I apologized stating it was an accident and a habitThey then began to pack up and leave When I realized they were leaving, they said I locked them out of the house Not true, the side screen door which was in front of their van was wide openThey were never locked out of

This company is awful and I'm appalled that ***'s still has a contract with themThis company WILL NOT return phone callsI am currently waiting on a carpet install so that I can put my house on the marketI called this company last Thursday, and times on Friday and left messages***s also called on Friday and left several messagesI called back on Monday and left another message along with ***s and still no responseI guess I have to wait until they feel like returning my calls to sell my houseDO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANYIf I could get someone to do the install I would at this pointTerrible way to run a business

Worst flooring installation experience ever "Installers " destroyed $worth of material and do not stand behind their illegal immigrant workers Spoke with ICE and SSA today Gave the owner every chance to make good but she is as worthless as her illegal immigrants Just getting interesting

They were supposed to install carpet on a WednesdayThey called first thing to reschedule for the next day between and because they were running behind from the day previousThursday between and and no one shows upCalled *** at and they hadn't even picked up our carpet yetStill haven't heard from them as to where they are at or when they are comingdays wasted thanks to themGreat customer service!!!

Purchased carpeting for bedrooms on March 24, from xxxxx Service Pro scheduled installation for April 11th between 9:am and 11:am At 8:am (after we had cleared out all the rooms of electronics, small items and everything except furniture) they call to say the carpeting is on back order Number - they re not supposed to schedule install until they have the carpeting in their possession
Reschedule for May 4th In the meantime, our house is a mess because we still have all the rooms prepared for installation We get up early on the morning of May 4th to remove all the small items that we had returned to the rooms such as TV's, clocks, lamps, etc- the necessities 10:am the installers arrive and come into the house with no tools They remove most of the furniture from rooms and then go to the Master Bedroom They quickly come out of the room saying - we can't do this job Your furniture is oversized and we need extra help They return the other furniture back into the rooms (without installing the carpeting in those rooms) and leave I get a call from Service Pros stating that they will have to charge us an additional $to move my bedroom furniture After much arguing and several people checking out the furniture, they agree to "cover" the additional cost (If the furniture was considered oversized, it should have been noted and put on the contract when the installers came to measure)
May 8, 3rd installation date! men again show up I asked where was the additional help They look at the furniture and say "This is no problem We will take care of thisDon't worry This is not oversize - we see oversize and this is not it" They completed the job and did an excellent job
I then realized that the first installers just did not want to work that day - it was a Friday and they probably had plans to go out that night
Although almost all of this trouble was caused by the installers, I fault xxxxx for not holding them accountable They insisted that they paid the installers for the extra installation even though they never needed to and the offered us 10% compensation for the weeks of misery that we went through I've omitted many details but believe me we went through hours and hours of phone calls, visits to xxxxx, etcfor weeks
So sorry I didn't read this before but I will endeavor to warn other Lowe's customers as much as I can!

This company is who Lowe's uses for carpet installationTo say that our experience was negative would be an understatementThis was, by far, the worst customer service we have ever experiencedWe ordered carpet from Lowe'sWe scheduled a two day installThe guys from Service Pros showed up, said they didn't want to do a two day install and left our home without telling us that they were leavingWhen we called the supervisor, Elvis, he proceeded to blatantly lie, say he didn't work with Lowe's and then hang up on me and then my husbandComplete lack of any type of service attitudeWe then spent another and 1/hours on the phone with Lowe's and Service Pros trying to figure out what happenedThey removed us from their schedule and after much confusion and stress, rescheduled us for days laterTEN additional days of living with our house in disarrayI would absolutely recommend staying as far away from this company as possibleRunAnd if you are forced to use them as we were, ask to not have Elvis or his crew work for youCompletely unprofessionalI hope you are reading this before you make any decisionsUnfortunately, I was too late in reading the reviews on this pageHad I been smarter and read them sooner, we could never have been through thisI would have known better

Very unprofessional, first attempt to install carpet we were told the driver had van problems, and they needed to reschedule and they could not to a "professional" jobThis was a job that was free installation and move your furnitureWe informed them we had the house prepped and ready to gowe ended up doing everything including removing the carpet to make sure we could get in done that dayThe installers arrive to find out they do not have the correct padThe installers inform us that the delay was caused by the company sending them from the warehouse to lowes to pick up the carpet only to find out that it was at the warehousein other words plus hours wasted with lack of communication not to mention we were lied to instead of being honest up frontWe had purchased the upgraded pad and they decided we were at fault and should take the pad they broughtMany conversations later they could not put our flooring in for more daysMeantime we are displaced for days with no carpet and the furniture put away for the install
Next installers arrive on time and after an hour working want to use the microwave to heat their lunchIts not so much they wanted to heat their lunch but a string of unprofessional things happen after this, they go out to eat and take a break which is also fineWhat happens next kind of freaked me out these are people we don't know and one individual uses our personal bathroom, not once but twice to do his "business" now I have no problem with this if you had used the guest bathroomMy personal bathroom is not for public use and I don't appreciate you using it like its you ownNext one of the guys was cut so I go get a band aid, he messed it up later and proceeded to go help himself again in my personal bathroom opened the cabinet and helped himself
That all being said I cannot complain about the installation they did a wonderful job it was a high quality carpet which made their job harder but when they finished it looked great and they cleaned up after themselves I just think the company could work on their professionalism from top to bottom, they are not prepared to handle problems or discuss it on an honest professional levelI think management needs to work on the staffs customer service and understanding of the process so they could better handle customer complaints and the professionalism of the installers

I can't get in contact with anyone in Service Pro to get my carpet installed that was purchased nearly a month ago
I purchased in stock carpet from *** in *** SC on 8/6/I was told that service Pro would be in contact in hoursAfter a week on August 13th I called and was transferred to service pro and got horrible customer service and was told that someone would be in contact with me in another daysSo I called again on August 16th after not being able to get in contact with the service pro installerI was then told that may order was not ready and should be ready in another daysI have called back almost everyday and have been told several times that someone will be in contact with meI have left messages after messages and no one will call me back

Easily the worst customer service in the Charlotte are I have no idea why they even give a phone # We've been calling and leaving word since Monday 8/with no reply (today is Friday 8/31) We've had our salesman @ *** call and email direct to no avail I just called the number on this page (***) and got no answer Do not use and petition *** to NOT use the non phone answering installers

RATING IS NEGATIVE> First of all, they sent out one man to install carpet in our two story homeThe man was late stating his GPS sent him the wrong wayOkay, things happenThen he doesn't think he can put the carpet down because it is raining outside The office is called and a solution is made, measure the room and go back to the store and cut the carpetWhile measuring the floor, a couple of fleas jumped on and off his armWe are infested with fleas NOTWe have grass fleas because we live next to a horse fieldHe refused to put the carpet down even if I sprayed the room while he was gone to cut the carpetOkay, I contact Lowe's Home Improvement Center speaking to a manager (who was very nice) and she sends out a couple of men to access the situationThey did find a couple of fleas but, definitely NOT an infestationWhile they were here, we began to heavily spray the roomThey said they will let them know we are fixing the problem and will call us with a decisionWAITED I call back to Lowe's demanding this be resolved ASAPSTILL WAITINGI receive a phone call and was told the only way Service Pros will lay the carpet is that I hire a pest control to spray and they see the documentation that I did soREALLY AT MY EXPENSE, NOT HAPPENINGI took care of the problem, I refused to pay someone to come out just to please Service ProsMy special order carpet was canceled and a refund was issuedI went to Home Depot for my carpet and they do not use SERVICE PROS INSTALLATION GROUPI will longer shop at Lowe'sThey need to find a different company besides Service Pros to do their installation

This company is the worst Shame on *** for partnering with such a terrible company Don't be fooled by the high level of customer service you receive from ***, once you pay for the flooring, trying to get it installed is a nightmare I have called the scheduler, Kayla, and her supervisor, Christy, over a dozen times this week and still haven't received a call backI called *** and they couldn't get a hold of anyone from Service Pros, so they sent them an email stressing they need to contact me before the end of the day and still nothingIf I didn't walk into *** and pay, I would think I am being scammedThis company needs to be shutdown ASAP!!

Contracted through *** to put down laminate floor in my home this is how the project (which is still not started) as transpiredFirst time to come in they said sub-floor in dining room to damp because of a water leak that was previously repairedThey saw my items (most already moved to master bedroom so they could start in another part of the house) and made no comment at that time about items in there wayA month later after I had floor repaired they were due in on Thursday and called me about coming in a day early..I told them I was out of town and have been for a couple of days but that would be fine understanding they I will get home shortly before they arriveInstallation person arrives at my home minutes after I get back from being out of townWhen he looks inside I had my belongs (mostly in the master bedroom for the past month) but some personal items still in there wayI told the installation I could have everything out of bedroom in minutes to give him a starting pointHe told me it would take him hours to due that room and I told him I could remove the other items in his way while he worked in that roomHe stated he had been doing floors for years and that is not acceptableAll my stuff had to be moved before they started (except big items I paid them extra to move)I told them I just arrived back in town and I was there to get things out of there wayHe said he could not do my job and I would have to move everything out of the house before they startI guess he forgets I am paying him to do this job so he should be willing to work with me since he is in my home a day earlyThis is unacceptable customer service and not how you grow a businessIf I am going to pay someone to do a job and I am helping them out they should in turn work with me to accomplish the projectAll this installer was doing was making excuses while I was giving him solutionsMy floor would be done right now but it still is notI think Service pros in Forrest City Nc needs to work on there customer service skills or leave the business to the ones that will take care of there customers who pay there salariesi would not recommend this company to any one and actually want to rate them a for the lack of customer service

We hired *** to install a backsplash and Service Pros was the sub-contractor assigned to the job I would not use these guys for a project if my life depended on it They are shady as ***!! They wasted an entire Saturday They were supposed to come out on a Saturday between 9-11AM They showed up, WITHOUT ADVANCE NOTICE, after 4PM, when no one was home Then, they stole the grout that I had purchased in advance from ***, they overcharged me for mortar (asked us to pay $cash for this material which I later figured out was only worth about $5), AND they screwed up the job and their service manager had to come out and repair several of their mistakes (3, to be exact)! And, to add injury to insult, they are telling *** that they didn't steal the grout and are not willing to admit to their failures STAY FAR AWAY FROM SERVICEPROS!

Terrible experienceThey sent a contractor with a criminal record who broke water line and flooded our entire house We had to call twice at midnight as contractor and worker were fighting/threatening to kill each otherEveryone Serv Pro sent out did more damage including urinating in our sinks and bath tubs NO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I'll keep it shortOn behalf of ***, Service Pro installed carpet in rooms in our newly renovated home and absolutely destroyed our NEW baseboardsThey referred to it as a minor scratchesHad to reinstall and repaint everything they got near in roomsNot so much the cost and inconvenience as it is the indifference and utter disrespect for our homeShameful

I apologize for this long review in advanceFirst I want to say the employees of this *** store in Matthews are generally very niceI have no complaints against the store personnelI wanted to install Pergo Max laminated wood floor in a rental property I own The group called Service Pros, a subcontractor for ***, came out and measured the property floor spaceNo problem thereI ordered the wood flooring at $per square footNo problem Installation was cents per square foot No problem
My concern is all the "nickel and dime" charges they add with the purchaseThey were going to add over $just to remove the carpet and vinyl I am sure *** received a cut of this chargeMyself and another person did it in one day.There were additional charges for installing quarter round and "threshold" at the doors This was about another $dollars in just in laborSo much for the 89cents per square foot for installationThey charged me $to pull out a refrigerator and stoveI pulled them out myself in about seconds, but I was still charged the $As you can see this cents for installation has not at least doubled!
I reluctantly called to set up a day for deliveryIt took about days to deliver the Pergo floorI called Service Pros (***' subcontractor) several days before the delivery to set up an installation date and they stated they would not set up an appointment for the installation until the Pergo floor was actually delivered and on siteI thought this would take 2-days after delivery for the floor to be installed I waited until the delivery day and called Service Pros They stated the earliest they could work me in was about two weeks after the delivery What would be happening if I actually lived in this house walking on the sub-floor for weeks? Luckily the house was vacant
So now we are about 20-days after ordering the Pergo flooring *** had told me it would be just a "few days" after ordering the flooringFinally, the momentous day of installation comesThe installer, who is a sub contractor for Service Pros, calls me and states (before he is even on site) there could be additional charges for "leveling" the floorIf the floor is not leveled, Pergo will not honor their warrantyYou got to be kidding me! The floor was level! He arrives at the home and states everything looks fine Several hours later he calls me and states the floors need to be "leveled" for an additional $ I think you may see a pattern hereWhat am I going to do I have now waited weeks to get this floor installed
These actions could be a common practice with floor sales and installation But I do not believe this is the moral way to do business with all the add ons and delaysI want to warn you ahead of time
The sad thing is I am probably not the only person this has happened to who did not write a reviewJust beware! Should this be the way they do business? Sorry for the long rant!
