Regarding the *** *** trip and the response from Seven Corners. On the original claim form ***'s physician selected the option provided for other in regards to the condition of cystic acne. We completely understood it not being an illness and that is the reason the option provided "other" was selected. Also the Dramended the date she first saw *** for the condition in a letterhead from her office which was faxed to Seven Corners. My daughter was looking forward to attending this trip but just was physically unable to do so due to this debilitating condition which left her with huge lumps on her face. I ask you to remember being among High School peers during such an extreme condition and being on such harsh medication which requires monitoring from said physician. It has not been easy and having to have cancelled such a great opportunity with *** *** was beyond troubling for ***. I have an original copy from Dr***'s letter head submitted to Seven corners (to amend the date on the claim form)

Seven Corners' response was that the Company wouldn't refund the prepaid premium because a claim was filedHowever, the Company did NOT pay the claim. It is an unethical practice to collect money from consumers for 5-months of services/products, fail to deliver services advertised, and refuse to refund prepaid money.I understand that the premium for the past months are not refundable because the insurance company took the risk for those monthsHowever, for the prepaid portion of future months, the premium should be refunded to us because we requested a refund in advanceAgain we request that Seven Corners refund us the unused portion of premium for period after our cancellation date- 03/09/

[I am not satisfied with this resolution because during the initial request I was getting very different information from the representatives I spoke withThe last time I spoke with a representative, I was told if I provided more information to support my claim they would review it Although, the way the representative made this statement seemed as if no new information will be reviewed with the intention of reconsidering the circumstances why I was unable to fly that day I am a 80% disabled veteran, I don't use the VA health care that often because I use my employer's health care benefitsWhen I do see the VA it is for routine visits and to reevaluate the condition of my disabilities I explained this in every call and was told that I can provide further information when I see my VA doctor I can provide medical history from my private doctors to support my claim but they are not the primary doctors If they want tosee this medical history I can submit sooner

Although this company claims in it's reply that it has issued a refund for my claim, I have heard nothing from them Not a letter, email or phone call regarding my appeal I have made several attempts to call and e mail them and they do not respond They have claimed in the past to send correspondence to my house (the original denial that I never received), and nothing has ever come to my house from this company I am frustrated and not sure how to get them to reply to me about this appeal I read that they claim they have issued my refund, yet I have no proof of thatNot sure what to do next

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. However :1) As of today I have not yet received the June letter that Seven Corners referenced in their response and therefore I am basing my acceptance of Seven Corner's response based solely on what I remember the claim form looked like. If they add additional requirements which I deem excessive or burdensome, I may retract this acceptance of their response.2) The "lost" mail had the original receipt from *** *** Residence and I was unable to get back any money from them. This is the only receipt *** *** Residence gave me. I want to know EXACTLY what Seven Corners want from *** *** Residence to confirm that no amount was refunded.3) I demand an apology from Seven Corners for their failure to respond within to days after sending a certain them an email with the scanned images on May 21, and NOT receiving any indication that there are still documents lacking. This delay I place squarely on Seven Corners for failing to follwith any communications. If Seven Corners would like proof that this email was sent, I have it in my INBOX and will gladly forward it back to them.4) If the doctor will charge me for filling out the Seven Corners form AGAIN, I may consider charging Seven Corners for any fee his office may make me pay.NOTE : During the delay, the airline that I had bought the ticket from did refund the fare which I have seen credited to my credit card account. I wish to state that I am no longer pursuing the refund of the airline fare but just the room (*** *** Residence) amount and will make that clear when I respond to the June letter
