I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have already explained several times to several different employees of Seven Corners, when I initially purchased the travel insurance I was told that my TRIP would be covered only to find out when I filed the claim that the woman did not inform me that I had to make separate purchases to cover my tripNot only that but the amount of my trips equaled $302.90, which I was issued a check for $I am still owed $for the other portion of my tripThis company has scammed my husband and I out of over $and I have been fighting for it sinceI purchased the insurance on the 10th with the knowledge from the employee I purchased it through that my trip was coveredI then had to spend another $for more coverage which is why the day of he appointment is the day before coverageWe are being scammed out of our money by this companyI am fighting for my money back from this company.

March 15, Revdex.com of Central Indiana N Delaware Street #Indianapolis, IN 46204- RE: Complaint ID: *** Complainant: *** *** To Whom It May Concern: Seven Corners, Inc(“Seven Corners”) is in receipt of Mr***’s rebuttal to our initial response regarding Complaint Number ***. Upon review of his claim file, we must uphold our original decision that trip cancellation benefits are not payable As explained in our February 23, correspondence, in order for trip cancellation benefits to apply, the policyholder’s condition must meet the purchased policy’s definition of sickness, which is defined as: (1) an illness that requires a physical examination and medical treatment by a physician and (2) commences while the coverage is in effectIn addition to medical treatment, the policy requires evidence of medically imposed restrictions by a physician preventing and/or advising against travel on or before the scheduled departure dateMr*** self-treated his medical condition, which does not satisfy the policy requirements in order for benefits to apply. Mr*** did provide a letter from his primary care physician with the Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital. Unfortunately, the letter does not provide the required information to document his medical condition. Instead, the physician simply stated that Mr*** fell ill while on vacation and was not able to depart on his scheduled flight. Due to the failure of Mr*** to provide the required medical documentation, no trip cancellation benefits apply to his claimIn his rebuttal, Mr*** states that on Friday, he spoke with a Seven Corners representative and requested a copy of his policy. Seven Corners does not have record of this phone call but due to his request, a copy of his policy was sent today to the following email address: ***@gmail.com. In addition, a copy of the policy was originally emailed to Mr*** on June 16, as a “.pdf attachment” with his booking confirmation. If you have any further questions or need further clarification of the above, please do not hesitate to contact us Sincerely, Seven Corners, Inc

November 8, *** *** Revdex.com NDelaware Street #Indianapolis, IN 46204-RE: Complaint ID: *** Dear Ms***: Seven Corners, Incis in receipt of Complaint ID Number *** sent
to the attention of Chelsi T*** on November 1, 2016. Seven Corners, Incis the administrator for the short term travel protection plan underwritten by American Modern Home Insurance Company. This response is on behalf of Seven Corners, Incand American Modern Home Insurance Company. The complainant, *** ***, has expressed concerns with the denial of a claim submitted for airfare expenses incurred as a result of a Trip Interruption. *** *** purchased a short term travel insurance policy on May 4, 2016, covering trip dates June 11, to June 18, 2016. On July 19, 2016, Seven Corners received a claim from Mr***, for additional airfare incurred when two members in his party had to return home early due to the death of a family member. The insured group had driven to their vacation destination. Mr*** purchased two airline tickets in the amount of $for his wife and daughter to fly home following the death of the family member. The policy purchased provides Trip Interruption benefits only for the unused, non-refundable travel arrangements prepaid to the travel supplier. This benefit does not reimburse for additional airfare. A denial letter was sent to Mr*** on July 22, 2016, explaining the reason the loss was not covered under the policy. The policy language which is pertinent to this matter includes the following: “SECTION IVCOVERAGES TRIP INTERRUPTION We will pay a benefit, up to the maximum shown on the Schedule of Benefits, if You are prevented from continuing or resuming Your Covered Trip due to any of the Unforeseen events listed below We will pay for the unused, non-refundable travel arrangements prepaid to the Travel Supplier(s).” We are sorry we cannot respond more favorably at this time. We hope this answers your concerns regarding this matter. Should you have any further concerns, please contact this officeSincerely, Seven Corners, Inc

March 2, Revdex.com of Central Indiana N Delaware Street #Indianapolis, IN 46204- RE: Complaint ID: *** Complainant: ***
*** To Whom It May Concern: Seven Corners, Inc(“Seven Corners”) is in receipt of Complaint *** which was filed by *** *** on February 21, 2016. We have reviewed the complaint and the claim file and have confirmed that the claim is not eligible for trip cancellation coverage benefits. The reasoning for our decision is explained below In order to clarify the roles of the parties involved, Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company (“NMIC”) is the underwriter of the travel insurance policy purchased by *** ***. Seven Corners is the third party administrator contracted by NMIC to provide customer service administration and claims adjudication services for individuals who purchase travel insurance products issued by NMIC. One Travel is the Travel Provider from whom Ms*** purchased her flights On November 17, 2015, Ms*** purchased a roundtrip ticket on Etihad Airways departing on January 3, from Jacksonville, FL, US (JAX) to Singapore Changi, SG (SIN) with connections at New York John FKennedy International Airport (JFK) and Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) Ms*** was scheduled to return to Jacksonville on May 8, 2016. On January 3, 2016, the flight from JAX to JFK was delayed and the aircraft arrived at JFK at 9:p.m., minutes after its scheduled arrival of 8:p.m As a result, Ms*** missed her connecting flight continuing to SIN. Etihad Airways did not have any other available flights until January 5, 2016, so Ms*** canceled her booking with Etihad Airways and purchased additional airfare with another airline to get to her final destination in time for the event she was attending. Ms*** is claiming that trip cancellation coverage should cover the additional airline expense she incurred when booking a new flight for her travel from JFK to SINHowever, her claim was denied because the aircraft departed as scheduled. Under the policy purchased by Ms***, Trip Cancellation benefits are available if the insured is prevented from taking the scheduled tripBased on the documentation presented by Ms***, she left on her trip as planned. Since Ms*** was able to depart on her trip as scheduled and only experienced a delay on the second leg of her trip, we looked to her Trip Delay benefits for coverageUnfortunately, additional airfare expenses are not a covered expense under the Trip Delay benefit. If Ms*** has any additional receipts relating to her Trip Delay, we encourage her to submit them for further review Regarding the additional airfare Ms*** paid to return home, Ms*** cancelled her reservation with Etihad Airways and by doing so, would automatically void her return flight as well Policy language which is pertinent to this matter includes the following: TRIP DELAY The Company will reimburse You for covered expenses on a one-time basis, up to the Maximum Benefit shown on the Confirmation of Coverage, if You are delayed, while coverage is in effect, en route to or from the Trip for twelve (12) or more hours due to a defined Hazard Covered expenses: (a) Any Additional Expenses incurred Additional Expenses means any reasonable expenses for meals and lodging as well as local transportation and essential phone calls that were necessarily incurred as the result of a Hazard and that were not provided by the Common Carrier or other party free of charge Please understand that our action at this time should not be construed as a waiver of any and all rights and defenses which NMIC may have under the policy in question, and any applicable statutory or common law, all of where are hereby expressly reserved We appreciate the opportunity to address Ms***’s concerns. Please contact this office should you have any further questions regarding this matter Sincerely, Seven Corners, Inc

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Seven Corners' response was that the Company wouldn't refund the prepaid premium because a claim was filedHowever, the Company did NOT pay the claim. It is an unethical practice to collect money from consumers for 5-months of services/products, fail to deliver services advertised, and refuse to refund prepaid money.I understand that the premium for the past months are not refundable because the insurance company took the risk for those monthsHowever, for the prepaid portion of future months, the premium should be refunded to us because we requested a refund in advanceAgain we request that Seven Corners refund us the unused portion of premium for period after our cancellation date- 03/09/

*** *** The death of the family member - Insurance falsely advertised to include a rebooking the the original flight tickets November 15th - December 14, a pain to return here to rebook the ticket for later on February 15th, 2015.The terms of the insurance policy states that whatever is the least of the dates is the coverage of the ticket.I feel the label "insurance included" is a hurting meThe ticket shows the link to your insurance on the Nov 15th flight. The terms of the insurance although showing "insurance included" says a change in the itinerary in a rebooking an extra dollars which I did fails the insurance for the rebooked flight even so stating "insurance included"The deceased family member is before the return date of the rebooked "insuranced included", yet the terms of the insurance does not included insurance on the rebookings for a full refund as falsely promised by the sales agents after Dec 14th, 2015.If you would again fail me a free ticket with Scandinavian Airlines, It will not be covered by your insurance for a death in the family again owing to the booking changes falsely stating the booking is the covered for within the return date of the round trip ticketPurchased February 7thRebooked February 15th ticked paid in full for November 15th to December 14th check the Dec 15, ticket it is there and promised in the confirmation.I complain that even though stating on the ticket for february 15th insurance includedThe Rebooking voided and nulled any future insurance including for aspergers and the unexpected event of a death and a relativeFor condolences for the confusion could you pay me a future credit to One Travel or a full-refund to any mail address I stated earlierI'm desperately at home looking for the decision letter and could not find it in the incoming mailDid you mail the decision letter? The included forms for the doctor's information were not included promptly and there is some new information on the mailing addressThere seems to be important information on the quality of the mailings the final decision did not come from Nationwide and was written in faulty legal terms and was emailed and ever mailed? The hidden terms ended the insurance although falsely advertised on the ticket to be includedI do hope that the rebooking is truely increasing the hopes of a refund so it promised to be always "insurance included" to those having it advertised in their ticket and the terms of the end date of the insurance coverage could extend past the February 15th repaying with credit card date, for both insurance, and and I payed for an insured ticket for Nov 15th - Dec14, and the question is does the insurance show insurance included and it is shown as included for the Dec 14th, date for ending period of the coverage, the available seats on the plane.* note the insurance included is as stated on the print of the ticket and examining the dates on the ticket shows it is indeed for the December 14, return round trip dateI think the question is, is what is written on the payment purchase is what is "included" for all the periods November 14th to December 15th flightI would claim that the written "insurance included" on the ticket is more powerful than the insurance terms that would ever rarely null and void any insurance for a rebooking when so stated insurance inlcuded so in the billing on February 15th for theNov 15th - Dec14, flight plan on an international round trip insured itinary having been properly cancelled and given instructions by the ticket agents at One Travel to call Seven Corner's, Inc for a full-refund.After failing to board the plane owing to my illness my relative died before the end of the coverage period December 14th, My plane illness was important to describe the cancellation however the the death of the relative is the sole reason the flight plan cancellation is withing the validity period of the covered times periods ending on the last day of the return round trip plane flightThe insurance covers the total cost of the flight for the death of a relative after the date of the flight cancellation spanning to the return date. The insurance covers the total flight cost for round-trip international ticketIn this flight cancellation plan covered flight Nov 15th - Dec 14th spanning back to from the Dec 14th ending date of coverage to the months pre-flight departure coverage to coverage just to the return dateThe flight rebooking period was from February 7th, and covered year should I wish not to apply for the ticket cancellation refund and instead rebook the flightCancellation are covered and backed for flight cancellation from the preflight terms of coverage to the last day of the ending flights Nov 15th flight and Dec 14th flight together making a generous time period to cancel the round trip dates for the return flight cancellation or year from original purchase price for rebooking and refunding the price through the terms of the insurance should the flight traveler me, not wish to rebookI did not wish to rebook after rebooking February 15th and asked for a refund through the seven corner's claims instructions after cancelling the ticket twiceOnce cancelling for the flight on Nov 15thand a second time cancelling for the flight on Dec 15th to be extra sure each of the round trip flights on Scandinavian Airlines through One Travel had been canceled freeing up the plane seats privileding me to a refund and a check to my a client "record" address client contact addresssI submitted twoI was instructed by One Travel to work through Scandinavian Airlines for a full refundScandinavian Airlines contacted me refusing the full refund or asking the sales person to contact Seven Corners to process the advertising refund on their ticket for their complementary refund conditions. The insurance covers the total cost of the flight for the death of a relative when not expecting it to occur and the validity period is the end the last date of the return round trip ticket, including the cancellation reasons for asperger autism and other mental disorders and I had not admitted oneself to the hospital, yet cancelled before the November 14th departureSoon after the cancellation, a relative deceasedThe two events are so differentI submitted the claim for the asperger autism and in ability to complete the trip and then resubmitted the claim for the deceased relativeThe two events are rare and occured within approved coverage periods ending to the last day in the return round trip cancelled flight planSee the confirmation itinerary to examine the coverable insurance flight coverage beginning and ending dates and the links on the purchase receipt click through to show the covered flight planI did not go to the hospital owing to the asperger disorder not be serious enough for supervising the condition, but rather cancelled the tripSoon later, I found out of the relative deceased and the upcoming funteralThe death of the relative is covered by the covered flight protection plan policy and was before the cancelled return plane flight Dec 14, hence covered in the coverage beginning November 15, and ending December 2015, plus the seven months of pre flight departure allowable advanced cancellationThe coverage for the death of a relative is for all covered terms for all flight seats and the cost to the airlines free up by two cancellations one for the depature and one for the returnBoth the return and the flight departing date are covered by Seven Corner's flight protection plan insurance policy on the flight itinerary, confirmation, and purchase receipt.

I am an arthritis patientSo, when I booked my tickets with OneTravel.com, they lead me to Seven Corner Insurance company, which offered full refund of our tickets in case of sickness and of course some other reasons I didn't pay attention toRealizing that sometimes my condition gets worse, I thought it will be a good idea to buy the insurance so that if we are unable to travel due to my health problem, we get full refund of our tickets amountIsn't that why we buy the insurance? It so happened that Ramadhan came before our traveling date and due to fasting and night prayers my arthritis pains shot up such that I could not sit for 10+ hours in the economy class with cramped seatsAs a result, we had to cancel our flightI called the Insurance company well in time and told them that we cancelled our flights due to my health condition and want the refund as they had promisedThe lady sent me the Insurance form and asked me if I could provide a doctor's note to support my claim of sicknessI am an arthritis patient for the last over years, so I don't need to go to a doctor to know if I am able to travel or not because a long time patient often knows his/her sickness/condition better than a doctorBut realizing the fact that this is their policy and they have a right to confirm the authenticity of our claim, I went to a hospital and did all the tests that will prove the severity of my health condition, asked the doctor to fill up the required note from the insurance company (spent considerable time and amount to satisfy the insurance company) and sent it to themAnd, they say that you didn't go to the doctor before! If they were honest, they would not be looking for lame excuses to reject our claimNobody buys the tickets to cancel and claim the same amount they have paid from their pocketThe only reason one buys insurance is to protect the amount that they have paid from their pocket in case of any mis-hapSo, what is the reason for rejecting a claim that is genuine?! We had lodged our complaint with Revdex.com in September but instead of getting a refund, we received a letter from Revdex.com telling us that our case is closed since it is settled! We would like to know how did they reach this conclusion? We want our insured amount of the tickets $2300+ cancellation fee $150= $ASAP

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the? response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that the response? would not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am still waiting to be reimbursed by seven corners for multiple bills and reciepts that I have submitted? Regarding Wesley S***? The bill he obtained for me was not legible and was rejected by ***? He said he would get me another, that was months ago? I have repeatedly asked what the status is and he ignores my emails? After waiting over months, I emailed him again? NO RESPONSE? Then, even more frustrated, I emailed him asking if he had been fired for being so bad at his job? He responded in less than minutes, sarcastically thanking me for my question and informing me that yes he still works there? He did not update me on the status of the itemized bill? This guy needs help? He is also the one that left me in a hospital for extra days in Costa Rica until I MYSELF, FROM A HOSPITAL BED, called him directly and inquired why he would not approve an ambulance plane home? I have worked with *** to get some of the bills refunded, I am still waiting on others.? ?
Regards,
*** ***
