contract with Bose does not allow us to offer any discounts for their products.  As much as we would like to assist [redacted], this would be a breach of contract if we were to do so.  When our cashback promotion is in effect, there is a banner for customers to click for the details.  It lists the following statements: Promotional coupons may not be redeemed towards the purchase of Beats by Dre, Bose, Human Touch, Bang & Olufsen, or Gift Cards/eGift Cards. Coupons may not be redeemed in conjunction with any other promo codes or promotional gift cards/eGift cards. We provide this information so that our customers will be informed of how the cashback works.  Although we are unable to assist with the Bose order, we would like to speak with [redacted] and work out a resolution.  Please ask him to contact us at 877-202-9337.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12537352, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:The banner on the website does not say to click on it for details. "Cash back" does not imply restrictions. "Gift card" does not imply restrictions. I don't know what their arrangement with bose is, but it doesn't allow them to be fraudulent on their website.

Review: I refer a hover board for my son for Christmas. It can the day before and I opened it that bottom was scratched and the cover for the battery was broken. I called immediately and told them my fears of he artery not being protected because of all the fires in the news and also told them that I had to put it under the tree because my son is expecting it from Santa. They told me they would call me back in 2 hours. There was never a phone call. I called again. They told me no one noted my account and thre isn't anyone to help so call Monday. I sent an email explaining what happened and got a reply that my issue was sent to upper lever customer service and I would receive a call in 24 hours. There was no call. I called again yesterday and they said they would call in 2 hours. Still no call. Now I am stuck with a broken $500 toy that I won't let me son ride outside because it has an unprotected battery that has been on the news several times with a history of catching fire. I just want a new, unbroken toy for my son as that is what I paid for but their customer service won't help at all.Desired Settlement: I want a new hover board that isn't broken.
