Review: I was contracted to work the New York Holiday night out event in December by [redacted]. I sent the contract and paid my fee. A couple of weeks I received an email on November [redacted] stating the following:

Dear valued Shecky’s vendor

I’m writing to you this morning because a scheduling issue has arisen with our upcoming NYC Holiday Night Out event.

The original event dates were December [redacted], and the venue was SIR Stage **. Unfortunately, due to an issue related to the liquor license, we are moving the event date. We apologize for the inconvenience, but on a positive note, the new venue is more spacious and in a much more central location in the heart of SoHo.

The new NYC Holiday Night Out information is below: The new event dates are Thursday, December [redacted] thru Saturday, December [redacted]

The event hours and venue are: [redacted] (between [redacted] and [redacted])

New York, NY

Doors open from 4:30pm-9:30pm on Thursday and Friday, and from 1:00pm-9:00pm on Saturday.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this changes causes for you. However, we are encouraged that this year’s Holiday Night Out event will be one of the best yet. As always, we will be doing everything we can to make this a successful event by doing giveaways, services and fun holiday activities throughout the event. As always, we will be opening the Saturday day session to the general public to encourage as much traffic and shopping as possible for all participants.

I sincerely hope that you will be to adjust your schedule to remain one of our registered vendors for this event.

Given this schedule change, what are my options?

· Since you are a pre-registered vendor for this event, you may choose one of the options below:

o You may transfer your registration to the new NYC Holiday Night Out event dates listed above. If you are currently only registered for one or two days, you may transfer your registration to whichever of the new dates works the best for your business.

o You may hold the fee paid as a credit towards any Shecky’s event in 2014.

§ If you choose either of these first two options, then we’ll send you an e-coupon worth $50 towards any Shecky’s event registration completed on or before June **, 2014.

o Or, you may request a full refund of the participation fee already paid.

Please respond to this email to let me know which of these options you would like to accept.

###-###-#### [redacted] Due to the change of the date of event I could not attend. I chose to get my money refunded back to me. [redacted] stated I should receive a refund back to my card soon. On November [redacted], I called and left message stating I did not receive my refund yet. I received an email from [redacted] stating:

Hello, [redacted]

Your refund request has been received and is being processed. When completed, it will appear as a reversal on your credit card statement. Thank you again for your support of the Shecky’s brand and our events. We look forward to having another opportunity to work with you again in the future.

Again I waited and no refund. I sent another email and another call was made. I did not ear from anyone. I sent an email on new years eve to [redacted] who writes the checks,

Please help me because I can not afford to lose that money. Please contact me back. Happy new year .

After the new year I made a few more calls and was then directed to [redacted] again. I spoke with [redacted] and he stated the checks are going out the following week. that was on Jan [redacted]. He followed up by sending me an email that day.

Hi [redacted],

Nice speaking to you. As I mentioned, the checks will be sent next week. Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.

I have followed up with emails and calls every week since then and still not have received a call or an email back and have not received my check for $375.Desired Settlement: I feel they should pay me $700 for the lost in time and product I had to put out for. I did not receive a check nor did I make money from that event. I was not advertised so I did not receive any business. This should be considered lost time and wages as well.

Review: To Whom It May Concern: I am writing to you to express my displeasure in your (Schecky's) bus tour event to the [redacted] this past Saturday, July [redacted]. I, along with 6 other friends, two, including me were celebrating our birthday's and paid far in advance for this trip. I was anticipating my birthday celebration to include friends and fun, with emphasis on fun. I was compelled to write this letter of my ordeal as I am still in shock over the bus ride. I arrived to the meeting location of [redacted] to find bus #1 was preparing to depart. Two out of the 6 of us were on the first bus, as we all arrived at different times. However none of us thought twice about the ride because we would have assumed we'd all meet up at the winery eventually. That never happened. Which wasn't the biggest let down as at least my two friends on bus #1 had each other. Where it was a let down, because annoying and unpleasant was a) when our bus departed after 10am, b) when our bus (bus #5) was an older outdated bus with undesirable accommodations (i.e. run down bathroom, broken seats that didn't recline properly and worst of all no navigation (which I will explain later why that was a necessary feature) etc), c) no winery tour as anticipated at first vineyard stop d) disorganized and rushed wine tasting at first vineyard stop e) no winery tour as anticipated at second vineyard stop, f) limited time to taste and/or enjoy wine g) our bus (#5) was going in circles on more than one occasion and at a point was so lost the passengers (mainly my friend - the other birthday girl, [redacted] - July [redacted]) had to direct the driver (via her cell phone's gps) to the museum where the main event was taking place. Which is why I can't be 100% but I can assume the newer buses had a navigation installed. So I would also like to briefly add either our driver was assuming (as I did) he would just be following bus #4, which left our location of origination nearly 15-20 minutes before we (bus #5) departed. If this is what he assumed (again like I did) I can guess he didn't feel navigation was necessary for this venture nor a hardcopy of directions. Which left us falling very far behind with regards to the schedule of events. h) Once at the main event (shopping and bbq) that was extremely crunched. The shopping in my opinion wasn't all of that anyway where I couldn't circle the vendors and purchase items. However, the bbq (which by that time I can speak for my party we were completely famished) was a full let down to complete the trip. The line was remarkably long. Which I opted not to even attempt to get on until it receded (smart on my part), but it never did! Soon there was an announcement that our bus (#5) would be departing in 5 minutes. I was shocked at the nonchalant message from the announcer. People were at that point tackling the sparse food spread. Fortunately, someone from my party was able to get an extra hot dog which I ate and will admit was quite good. However I only equated the taste to the fact that I was extremely starved at that point. I could go on and on regarding the ride back but will opt to leave you with all that I listed above. I am exhausted just reliving this ordeal in this letter. I don't even know what I am expecting, besides a genuine apology and full refund. I am not 100% after telling my experience in this letter that is all I should be receiving. As I would like to add for the last time it was supposed to be my fun filled birthday experience. I am anticipating a response from the "powers that be" as soon as possible. Review: I purchased tickets for the Shecky's Girls Night Out even in Miami on November [redacted], 2014. The weekend of the event, the web site posted a cancellation notice, with no reason as to why the even was cancelled. The web site stated they will be sending out emails to instruct any ticket holders on how to get a full refund for the tickets. No email was ever sent out. I have called the number provided as a contact on the web site over 20 times, and it is always buys. I have sent emails to the customer service dept. and no one has ever responded, I have filled out a customer serivce inqiury online twice and it has never been answered. At this point, it is apparent they do not have any intention of refunding me for tickets I purhcased for thier event. It is also apparent they do not care about thier customers in the least.Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded to me ASAP for the tickets I purchased in the amout of $39.59. The order number was #[redacted]. I purchased the tickets on October [redacted], 2014 with my Visa credit card. I would also like a response in writing to validate that the company will indeed be refunding me in full since I was not provided with the service I paid for.

To: [redacted] My name is [redacted] and I am writing to you about my experience this past Saturday, August [redacted] as a first time attendee to a Shecky's event. I have to tell you how utterly disappointed I was from the beginning to the

end of this trip. Arrived at [redacted] at 8:30 and around 8:45 [redacted] our hostess announces she will start giving out our wrist bands for those people who paid for the entire tour that included the wine tours. That was a mess,

very unorganized and extremely unprofessional. All the women there were confused and didn't understand what was going on. Then 15 minutes later we get on a line and she never completes handing out the wrist bands so we had to inquire with her again. Just totally ridiculous. Then the first bus arrives and I have to tell you I would have rather rode an MTA bus then this bus, it looked like it was a throw back from 1970's, it was dirty and disgusting. The windows were dirty, we had cloth blinds to block out the sun that were riddled with stains. Their were two TV's

hanging from the ceiling that I thought at any minute would fall on the heads of the women below. They were shaking so violently from the bus drivers erratic driving. The seats were cloth and looked like they had not

been cleaned since 1970, there were bugs flying all over the place, that I was afraid I would come home with bed bugs or lice. The bathroom was disgusting. the bus driver drove erratically the entire way, I don't know

how many times I had to hold the seat in front of me so that I didn't hit with my face every time he stopped or slowed down. The wineries we attended were Duck Walk and Baiting Hollow and they were great it was just the ride that I was disappointed with. the bus was so bad that at Baiting Hollow I actually called a rental car service "enterprise" to come and pick me and my girlfriends up so we could rent a car to the Shecky's venue and drive back home. The total amount for renting a car cost us $218.18 in addition to this [redacted] Shecky's event.

When we got the Shecky's event it was disrespectful to not myself but to all the women who attend these events. there were only a handful of vendors, maybe 9 behind this museum, the food was disgusting, their were not enough

places to sit to eat the disgusting food provided. The goody bags were ridiculous, it was just a horrible event. I've had more fun at a family bbq. This experience was horrendous and a total slap in the face to all who

attended. You should be ashamed of yourself for putting together a [redacted] and half [redacted] event. I will never recommend anyone to attend any of your events, this will be my first and last time because from what I understand

in speaking to some of the ladies on the bus and at the event the same thing happened with the buses last year.

The least you could do is reimburse my ticket - my order # [redacted] Order

As for you renting a car because you didn’t feel safe, that was your decision. The buses were safe, the event was exactly what was advertised, the 25+ vendors we had were in line with the way the event was marketed and

advertised (1/2 bbq and 1/2 girls day out, normally our events have 50+ vendors) and there was plenty of seating to eat the endless amount of "Disgusting food" as you described that was being served (we even had enough

at the end to donate to a food bank). The Meat was actually premium steak, chopped meat, lamb, chicken, pork, etc from one of NYC top meat distributors. I am sorry you did not enjoy our "[redacted] Sheckys event" as you

described, unfortunately there is nothing that I feel I need to do on our end to compensate you for what was promised and delivered. If what we do does not meet your expectations, it is probably best that you

no longer attend anything we do moving forward as we don’t want to disappoint you or your friends.

The email compaint that was place by the ticket buyer is simply not accuarte. My response to her is below. The event was EXACTLY as it was advertised and marketed, we had approx 25 vendors at the event, there was plenty (more than we could even serve) of quality food being BBQ'd and served as noted in my response to her by a hired professional BBQ chef and his catering staff, the bus she came in on was not brand new, but it was hardly unsafe or disgusting. It was a coach bus. She also had the option to take a different bus home as there were 4 buses on this event.

please see the link to the add we had on our website which is 100% clear as to what the event would have. We ave been doing events for 14 yrs. over 35 events per year. We do deliver on what we advertise. Goody bags, open bar with premium wines being served, a wine tasting tour in Long Islands wine counry and an all you can eat BBQ and shopping with round trip transportation for approx $100. seems like a pretty fantastic deal and EVERYTHING was delivered. We take this very seriously and we do our best to manage expectations and what we promise.

Review: I signed a contract and paid a fee to participate in a retail show in Los Angeles. Sheckys cancelled the show the week prior to the event. The event was to take place December [redacted]. In the body of the email there were several options that included credit for future shows or refunds. I chose the refund due to the fact that I could not attend the newly created date. Today is February [redacted] and I have emailed, called, emailed and called and no one has gotten back to me on the refund. All I get is that 'someone" will call me back. I even spoke to the [redacted] and he went into an explanation about how they were moving etc. And yet, no one has called and no money has been refunded.Desired Settlement: I want a refund, plus interest after January [redacted] which is 30 days after the official change of date/cancellation. Current interest rate is 15.38% and is variable-just like a credit card.

Review: I Purchased tickets to attend shecky's Girls Night for $60.00 out events. Unfortunately they canceled the event & stated that my money would be refunded. I called for weeks & emailed countless times, with no reply. Now the number is disconnected & website gives a 504 error message. Myself and countless others have been robbed bt this shady business. Review: On October ** and ** I worked for Shecky's girls night out in [redacted]. I was hired by [redacted] and told that I would be paid $15/hour and that the checks would be cut 2-4 weeks after the event. I would check people in at the event and make gift bags. I had a concern about being hired because I saw something online about not being paid, I brought this up to [redacted] and he confirmed in an email that, "Everyone who works for Shecky's gets paid." On December [redacted] I emailed him asking to confirm that I would be paid shortly because it was already over 1 month since I worked. He did not respond to the email. On December ** I asked the customer service representative to have [redacted] call me by the end of the day (I was told he writes the checks) but he did not. The customer service representative has not made any effort to fix this issue. It has now been over 2 months since I worked for Shecky's and I have yet to be paid.Desired Settlement: I am owed 225.00 I deserve more than that for the aggrivation and wait time. They can't not pay the people who work for them.

Review: Shecky's advertised a "Shecky's Girls Night Out" in Houston, Texas, for November **, 2014. I paid via Credit Card 23.82 for two admission tickets. For unknown reason, an e-mail was sent that it was canceled and we will be refunded. I have never received a refund.

I have e-mailed them several times and to date, March **, 2015, I have not received a refund for the charge made to my bank account.Desired Settlement: Please debit my bank account/credit card used of the original 23.82 or send me a check.

This company took my money for an event, cancelled the event and has not and seeminlgy will not refund me the money for it. I cannot get a response from them & any phone numbers listed either go deirectly to a full voice-mailbox or ring a few times then is disconnected.

Review: Sheckys Girl night out event for [redacted] Oct **/** 2014, was canceled.I had purchased two tickets for this event in the amount of $28.31, I have tried repeatedly to get a refund. I have written them a letter ,tried calling and e-mailing them all request have been ignored. They will take your money but will not deliver the the goods. If you have any problems with this company the will not respond to any of your complaints.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the event they canceled.
