We are not a Shell gas station.  ThanksRegards,Marcia

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]
 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The letter from the Shell Station in Rockville to your office is not on business stationary and provides no telephone contact number.  The individual who signed the letter, Mike K[redacted], does not identify his position with the Shell Gas Station in Rockville.   I assume that he is the station manager, although it is unclear.  He does not disclose the identity of the gas station's insurance provider, with whom I seek to file a claim over the damage to my car bumper by the station's car wash.  If fact, he provides virtually no information other than asking that I contact my own insurance company, [redacted].  I have done that, and the [redacted] agent tells me that he will contact Mr. K[redacted], although I again note that K[redacted] provides no telephone contact number. The station's bad business practices are numerous and obvious.  I do not consider this matter closed until [redacted] informs me that it has, in fact, managed to reach Mr. K[redacted], and that he has provided [redacted] with the Shell station's insurance provider information, so that this claim can proceed properly.  Once the claim is filed with the Shell Gas station's insurance company and the appropriate communication can be effected between it and [redacted], I will withdraw my Revdex.com complaint.  Until then, I ask that your office consider this case unresolved and that it keeps the case open.Thank you,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Our Shell gas station has a policy where all debit card transactions are being charged at the credit price. This policy is clearly posted at all dispensers,...

right above the place where customer would swipe their cards. It reads "Debit Card at Credit Price". The only way for a customer to receive the cash price is by paying cash. This practice is common at many other gas stations, and it is really up to the individual company to decide, and is legal. Should you have any other question or concern please feel free to contact me. Thank you.

Because I wanted to become CPR certified, I took an online NHCPS course after finding a discount on [redacted] It came with a manual in PDF format, helpful videos, and study questions to help prepare me for the exam. I read the manual thoroughly and passed my exam with ease.

I wanted to learn more about how to deal with emergency situations, so I decided to take their online BLS course as well. Once again, I was extremely satisfied with the material and pre-test questions that NHCPS provided me with. I've already recommended them to one of my co-workers so she can renew her CPR certification and I hope to take more classes with them once I'm financially able.

I read the only negative review here prior to posting mine and laughed because the only NHCPS course that [redacted] currently offers is the CPR, AED, and First Aid course which is not meant to be complicated or information-heavy. The BLS exam was much harder but [redacted] wouldn't know that since she decided not to take it.

[redacted]Revdex.com Staff Member (if you know):    [redacted]Complaint Information:    According to the attendant at the store location, the customer was not present during the entirety of fueling. Instead according to the attendant, the customer had left the the pumping station entirely, and entered the building while allowing the dispenser nozzle to be held open. When he returned, fuel had spilled onto the ground. According to the attendant, the customer indicated to the attendant that it was his own fault, and did not request a refund at the time. Additionally, accounts of the spill do not indicate a fuel spill resulting from a $18.27 transaction, which could be over 8 gallons. Also, according to state and federal law, there is a requirement that fuel dispensing be monitored continuously. As such, the customer should not have left their car until fuel dispensing was terminated.Sent on:     4/11/2016 11:53:19 AM

I am rejecting this response because: it is a complete and blatant lie. We never left the vehicle. Ever. We never went inside until we were cleaned up and requested a refund. The attendant refused. He directed us to contact Shell. We should have called the police! It's appauling that Shell is LYING and refusing to refund $18?! That is what spilled. My car does not hold the number of gallons charged. There is Video - assuredly - that proves we never left. The attendant is a liar. And Shell corporation is disgusting for offering no customer service.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

This is Winston G[redacted], I am a mechanic of [redacted] Shell, at [redacted], Lanham MD [redacted].I did understand customer complaint about the damage he mention.  We had discuses about that matter with customer.  They bring the vehicle with Tow-truck to replace use Engine....

At same day we push that car inside the shop.  We saw that damage in the windshield, time we push that vehicle in the shop. However we have permeation from honorable customer to work their vehicle at customer own risk.  We do not give any warranty with customer own parts.  I will submit that agreement paper with customer signature.  I understand that the customer had that issue and trying to get money out us, I am not responsible for that damage or due. Sorry for any inconvenience.Winston G[redacted]

After reading through the two negative reviews and viewing the NHCPS website it became quite clear that the two reviewers did not read all the information presented. I purchased both the CPR/AED/First Aid and BLS course. The BLS course is geared for healthcare providers, as stated, while the CPR course is the basic skill course that provides the basic lifesaving information for the lay person.
I would not necessarily recommend the online CPRcourse to a person who has never take a CPR course before since there is no actual hands on skill training. As a refresher course or recertification course, these classes are great options.
I felt both courses provided adequate information and study material.

I agree 100% with [redacted]
I also took the same course as she did through Groupon discount.
After taking the course, I was surprised that I didn't need the actual hands on training on some of the cpr procedures. Also, it said to contact them if I wanted the certification of completion sent to me and they will send it immediately but they never did. And that's when I thought it must be a scam.

If they are claimed to be legit, their explanation of the courses are deceiving and needs to be changed. There seems to be many people are taking these cpr cert courses online which claim to meet the requirements for health care industry but they're not. AHA mentions that on their website.

Mr. ** who is the mechanic for the company states that the part that he purchased for the transmission was bad.  He states that even thought the consumer was not paid in full, he was still willing to allow the consumer to use the...

warranty.  He states that he sent the car to another company to see if they would honor the warranty.  He states that the company told him that they could not honor the warranty because the part was defective. He states that he paid out of his own pocket to have the consumer's transmission repaired by the other company. He states that he advised the consumer that there were other issues with the car but he was only responsible for the transmission.

We used their service back in Juky and had zero issues. I think it'd pay if more customers read the fine print on their terms and conditions first. We used then three times this summer

On December [redacted] customer came in to the shop. I inspected as per NYS DMV regulation observation of brake I found out the brakes almost touch the rotor,I explained to the customer the brake was bad and touching the rotor, as per New York DMV inspection it will Fail inspection. the customer agree on...

the job of the brake. I explained to the customer the price $300 plus inspection fee $37.The customer came back later in the week for refund, As peer shop policy posted in a sign 18X12. stating no Refund. I offered him $175 and he agree.

Earlier today (1/27/2014) I went into this shell gas station to buy a drink, by the entrance door I happen to see a drink cooler full of [redacted] (sweat tea) for .59 cents or 2 for $1. So I decide to try it, after drinking the whole can I'm reading it and happen to look at the expiration date which was (8/4/2013), 5 months past it's expiration!!!!! At this point I am disgusted with the fact that I drank a whole can of it and furious that they sold me a drink 5 months past it's expiration date which may have gotten me sick. Well now I know why it was so cheap. I guess the money they make selling their expired products are more important than their customers health. I am very disappointed because I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I was getting gas on Monday. Suddenly, I decided to look at the meter to see how much gas I was actually pumping. (I usually just pump a certain dollar amount). Turns out, I "pumped" 19 gallons of gas. According to the dimensions of my car, I have a 17 gallon tank. Not sure how this happens, but it sounds to me like people are getting robbed while everyone's only paying attention to how low gas prices are. This needs immediate attention!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution should satisfy the current complaint.  However I would request the business to not impose an expiry date on car wash service for which the customer has already paid and not obtained the service.
