Dear Revdex.com, As a one-time accommodation Brother will issue a set of LC101 ink cartridges as a good will gesture for the customer to finish the cleanings.  We will be sending the LC101 ink cartridges to the address we have on file which is the same that [redacted] provided on his complaint...

along with the warranty statements we attached.  Brother stands behind the [redacted] with our warranty terms and
conditions.  What this consist of, is, if
we elect to replace the machine due to mechanical troubles, we...

right to send a refurbish or remanufactured replacement.  This in lieu of whether the customer purchased
a “New” or “Remanufactured”  machine from
our authorized retail chain (s) that sell our product.We are respectfully declining [redacted] request to be reimbursed.  Any type of refund or return of the product,
she will need to contact the place of purchase concerning their return or
refund policies. Brother cannot interfere nor dictate refund or return policies

Our dealers are independent, from Brother.  The manufactured warranty is valid for (2) years from the date of purchase for Parts, Labor and accompanying Accessory Items. I am rejecting this response because:       Since the consumer will be in possession of two machines.Above was stated in the Brother letter to Revdex.com.  Sir/Madam:  I will be in possession of 2 machines:/printers.  One will be a a refurbished, empty shell, and the second a dysfunctional printer still under warranty.  This is a  total of two non-working machines.  The letter fails to mention this significant detail.   I am asking my printer, still under warranty, be replaced with another machine of the same make and value which prints for the time of the warranty.

I am rejecting this response because, it is an unsatisfactory option to meet my needs.   Tonight is a great example of my disgust with my Brother printer.  I have been attempting to scan documents in a pdf. format to submit to the Secretary of State for a business license since 10:45 pm, Eastern Time.  It is now 1:09 Am Eastern Time on 2/7/2018 and I have been unable to get the printer to work properly.  I am urgent need of a home office printer.  I will be purchasing a new one later today.   I expect full cost of this printer, including monies incurred using printing companies services, while owning this Brothers printer, paid immediately to me by Brothers Internation.  The store, [redacted] where I purchased the printer, offers a 30 day refund policy, only. The attached documents display a morsel of the frustrations I have encountered from approx. 10:30 pm, Eastern Time on 2/6/2018 through 1:10 am, Eastern Time on 2/7/2018 attempting to get the printer to scan a document in a PDF format to my laptop, to send to the Secretary of State.  I was never successful in doing so, again, causing me to rush out in the morning to a printing company.    I started capturing screen shots at 1202 am on 12/6/2018 as seen as upload.  I have tractability documents throughout my attempt to get a PDF document scanned to my laptop.  Unfortunately, I am only able to upload 4 attachments to this system.

Dear Revdex.com,   I had an in-house technician attempt to reach out to [redacted] this morning (8/18/17) to see if we can resolve the problem between his Brother product and Mac computer.  The machine is compatible with Mac products so we do need to further troubleshoot the issue.  A voice message was left for the customer to contact us back. I am rejecting this response because: We have been sent a replacement printer via warranty after countless hours wasted and request to speak with a supervisor because customer service unwilling to help. We will contact Brother again to discuss the request for reimbursement for all of our wasted ink during the hours of troubleshooting we spent on the phone with them. Results yet to be determined at this point.

I am rejecting this response because:The unit has already been returned.  We are making this complaint because as a refurb unit, this should have been working 100% when it left your factory.  It was not and as a result of your companies negligence in refurbing the unit, we destroyed several shirts in attempts to use the machine as per the instructions provided.  Since this machine was not able to perform as stated, we want a bit of compensation for the destroyed materials.   IF we had bought this new, we would have used your warranty service, but it was bought as a factory refurb, and supposedly checked out and repaired by your factory techs, so there is no excuse for it not working 100%.
