I paid for a service that was provide by ship overseas that I paid for in a timely mannerIf it was just the case of a mistake on their part then no problem, I would have have delta with it and moved onBut that was not the case, I was a paying customer and I was lied to by several people in that organization about my truckI was stranded hours away from home and spent an additional six hundred waiting to receive my truckThey knew I was stranded waiting on my vehichle to be released and no one would even return my emailI had to have a worker from the receiving company send the CEO an email begging for his help to resolved the situationIf they would have been honest with me about the problem and had an ounce of remorse and compassion to my situation then we would not be hereI need them to be accountable, so that the next soldier or person will not be lied to repeatedly and received half the service they paid forI also contacted them to file a claim for a missing parts of my vehichle but no one has return my email or phone callIf this is how they do business then I think people should know whom their are dealing gd with

The details of this matter are as follows:Complaint Involves:Billing or Collection Issues Customer’s Statement of the Problem:I had a truck and personal items shipped internationally, using Ship OverseasI contacted them regarding additional costs charged due to misinformation on the arrival
date by which I was charged for storage at euro, per day, for the first days and subsequently euro, per day, for the remaining days from July 20, - Aug 18, I also reached out to them regarding a brand new expensive hand bag that was stolen from the top of one of the shipped binsI packed all of my bins personally and I watched the shippers wrap them in heavy plastic before placing them on a palletWhen I went to pick my things up, the plastic was missing, the bins were dusty, disheveled and some were brokenI tried contacting the company by text, email and phone to determine how to get a refund for the storage and place a claim for my handbag, since I had purchased the shipping insuranceI have not heard back after waiting approximately one week and following up.,Complaint Background:Product/Service: Overseas ShippingPurchase Date: 7/20/2015Problem Occurred: 8/3/2015Model:Account Number: ***Order Number: ***Talked to Company: 8/3/2015Talked to Company (2nd): 8/24/2015Talked to Company (3rd): 9/4/2015Name of Salesperson: Purchase Price: $6648.66Disputed Amount: $2219.30 Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for the first days at euro per day, upon which I do not believe my items were arrived and an additional days for which after July 27th when my things were to arrive, I was not contacted, but the company allowed time to accumulateI would also like to be compensated for my stolen handbagThe total refund requested, is below and includes current exchange rates and depreciation for the handbag$2219.30 ________________________________________________________________________________... having being studying your complaint and am very confused at your comments.Your total Purchase Price was $and not $as you indicated Your refence number is *** and not *** as you indicatedAre you confusing us with someone else ?I really am also confused at what you are saying.You were sent by Fedex your arrival notice and address for pick up in SpainYou signed receipt and the rest was up to you to contact the agent concernedIf you chose not to contact them before arrival to make arrangements, that was your decision and if you did not contact them after arrival that again is your decision. You incurred expenses as you cannot expect the Agent in Spain to hold a container which belongs to the shipping line in his premises at no charge.He gets charged per day for not returning the container to the port as the shipping line needs to use the container for other customersWhy you decided to let matters lay is your decision and I cannot be responsible for your inability to pick up your goods.Attempts to contact you were made by the agent in SpainHe has told us he made numerous attempts with out response Also, I repeat we sent you by Fedex our arrival notice and contact agents details. Finally, it seems to me as if you are claiming for expenses incurred in Spain and those are not payments which we receivedI doubt whether you will get any refund as the agent in Spain was charged by the shipping line for holding the container excessive time.SincerelyShip Overseas, Inc

[Just because the company has a generic email signature does not elevate their responsibility to honour the instructions given to customers by phoneYes I was directly told on the phone that I could send the papers with the vehicleThey told me this is not the process but they do this some timesThis was do to a last minute change that required me to fly out before I could take the vehicle to the port myself, which was the original plan.They also said in email that the storage fees did not start to accrue until AprilThis shipping company does not give correct information to their customersIts their mistake, its their responsibility]

[Your simple answer of we only work by email is a lieI have called your company and received over calls from your companyThey were calling to discus changes to my shipment, why else would they call? My phone records prove that your company called me numerous timesYour company did not even know my vehicle left the port until I called them to let them know that the freight company called me and let me knowThen your company emailed me to confirm what I already told themThen they did not email me the correct information for shippingThey still had the boat information from the past shipment on the invoiceThey also sent me two different emails with different storage chargesThis was the email I received on April 16th: "If you can get the documentation to *** for customs clearance before this date I can advance the sail dateKeep in mind that storage fees are $a day The last free day of storage will be 4/22". This was the email I received on May 20th: "I advised you that you were given days of storage without any fees being chargedI was wrong, I apologizeThe port only allows days of storage without any storage fees"I was called and emailed by different people who did not even have the correct informationIf you can prove (just saying Im wrong is not proof) that any thing I have said is incorrect then please do soIm reading through my old messages and notes and this is who Ive spoke to; *** *** and *** are people I spoke to on the phone at different times.Some phone calls I did not keep track of because I was in my car driving at the time./ *** *** *** *** *** *** *** and The Shipoverseas Sales team have all emailed meYour company has multiple people calling and emailing me about this shipment and they are not all tracking the same informationThey did not know when my vehicle left the port and when it arrivedThey were still emailing me about my shipment when I already had my vehicle.]

SirWe do not give conflicting instructions verballyIf we changed your situation for instructions it would have been changed in an email to you detailing the exact alterationIf you can show me that you received these changes, I could entertain your claimHowever to say you were told verbally and acted accordingly does not make sense.Please advise.Thanks

I am reading your response and my only conclusion is that the truck company that picked up your vehicle and transported it for you, damaged your vehicle in transit.No photographs at the loading terminal have been falsifiedYou car was delivered dirty and probably with damage caused by the truck driver who probably added the words " Very Dirty "Because of the fact that you brought to my attention that there was a delay in delivering the vehicle to the loading terminal , the vehicle could have been damaged during that time and the trucker was trying to have the vehicle repaired but eventually decided to take a chance and deliver the vehicle as is.The other alternative is that the truck company delivered the car to the loading terminal in New Jersey and they damaged the vehicle. Either way, you should be covered under the Insurance that you had It is unlikely that either the trucker or the loading terminal will admit to the damage It is also possible that the vehicle was delivered dirty as there was very bad weather at that time.This is not the type of Business that Ship Overseas, Inc wishes to doWe move thousands of vehicles yearly, some directly on Vessels which we control the loading and sometimes through loading terminals that we work with, as was in your case
