These items were purchased in along with a year warranty we will honor the warranty for the five year period this is why they bought the warrantyAlso this is almost years old and if it was and inferior product it would not have lasted wear and tear will come with usageSo a 25% usage fee is going above and beyond what we need to do and if you were to calculate what that would be for using the product almost years you would see that this is more than far Thank you The RoomStore

The consumer purchased items in October of along with and extended warranty for upholstery and leatherIn July of the consumer called in with a complaint a service technician was sent out and a report was return to the RoomStoreUpon review of the report the seat cores and back cushion stuffing are cover under the year warrantyHow ever the vinyls on the arms are not covered under the year extended warrantyI have enclosed a copy of the warranty and you can clearly see what is coveredThis was explained to the consumer that what is listed under the heading *plan covers upholstered fabric and leather furniture [redacted] is what is coveredThe core will be ordered and when they are received we will contact the customer and install Thank You The RoomStore

The consumer purchased items in December 2nd and called in March 25th stating she had nicks gouges and scratches which are not covered under the warranty, this is from usageAt this time we can not allow a reselection because of their being no manufactures defects Thank You The RoomStore

Roomstore Alma School Rd not only avoids honoring their warrantee, but their customer service Manager (***?) avoids returning callsIf you insist on making a purchase at the Alma School location demand that any and all warrantee information be specifically spelled outTake the time to read, ask questions and don't assumeThe Roomstore service pledge states that upholstered goods are warranted lifetime for defects in cushions, frames and springsEvidently it must be the lifetime of a fleaNow they claim that the cushions in question are not the cushions that they refer to in their warranty( figure that one out), Repeat business and referrals are based off of trust, respect and honesty which the Roomstore and ***? could use some coaching inBuyer Beware! Update; Today 8/Wednesday, I heard back from their customer service manager ***, he stated that the only cushions under warranty are the seats and after several minutes of splitting hairs I realized talking to [redacted] was a waste of time just as many other unsatisfied consumers have stated***- Roomstore were not willing to budgeOh Well, lesson learnedSimple solution; Sell set at a consignment shopThen GO Directly to a [redacted] showroom and replace the inferior product with a quality set from someone who will honor a warranty if needed and probably spend less than the $that I paid at The Roomstore

The consumer in their reply show that they do have a copy of the year warranty and under the heading plan covers upholstered fabric and leather furniture and it list what is coveredThe fading and peeling of the leather is not listed there for it would not be covered Thank You The RoomStore

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowRevdex.com: I have been waiting months for my fabric, and I should have been informed the dye lot has changed back when I put the claim in months ago! I told customer service I don't care of its same type of fabric...I would even take microfiber at this point I have the matching pillows to go with the fabric I have now When I just got informed the dye lot has changed they wouldnt even answer how much darker it is or anything I can't even sit on my couch bc the fabric is so rough The customer service rep made it sound like they are just now ordering the new dye lot and will take another 4-weeks for me to get Its very sad I had to make a Revdex.com complaint to get anything started on order after months of calling and getting the run around Funny thing is I was JUST in Roomstore and other stores that carried my same couch and the fabric was the exact same..down to the same pillows! Unless the dye lot is very very minor, it still matched the pillows that came with the couch, which is same fabric and comes stock with couch Getting my replacement shouldn't have been this difficult and handled.by customer.service in a precise manner I would get attitude from reps and told there were no managers go talk to every time I called They would sometimes.forward me to a managers voice mail and I would NEVER get a return call back Regards, [redacted]

The consumer did refuse service and we will still send out a technician however if the stain has been removed the RoomStore has honored their part of the warrantyPlease call customer service if you would like to set up an inspectionAlso a copy of the warranty and the address to the committee of owner was provided to e-mail address [redacted] as directed by the consumerIf the consumer did not receive this information we have no way of knowing unless contacted by the customer, I will send the address again Thank you, The RoomStore

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] Yes, the RoomStore replaced the handle but in the process the arm of the sofa brokeThe service guy indicated that the sofa arm was already damagedUnknown when this may have happen but these guys have turned this sofa over several times and moved it to their shop onceThis last time the service guy flipped the sofa over the support for the arm broke, it can be seen and felt through the fabric The service guy left no paperwork, he took pictures of the now broken sofa arm and said someone will call me from the storeThat was Saturday, so far no one has called I haven't moved this sofa since it was purchasedNo one has sat on the arms of the sofa because there are end tables next to each side of the sofaThis just gets worse as the sofa falls apart

I do not know how the consumer saw the same item on the floor as we no longer carry the item and the parts are on order with the manufacture and again the consumer did not want any other option so at this point we are waiting for the manufacture to send the parts Thank You The RoomStore

We were talked into spending extra for an extended warranty to cover all defects, natural, animal, etc We purchased this warranty in good faith Now, approxyears later file a claim because the red "leather" on our furniture is flaking off like dandruffWe were told today that the warranty does not cover this....only stains and the like What stains leather?! I can understand pets, but the leather literally is iscoming off?! Last year I contacted them because the frame was bent, but was told because we moved the warrany was void Well, we moved but our furniture remained at the original address in Arizona as we own both homes, but they still would not fix the defect DO NOT purchase the extended warranty at The Room StoreIt is a Fraud!

Again the warranty only covers what was listed on the warranty and the consumer did call in after the years period to report their issueIn our important customer information booklet that’s were it states the RoomStore warrants’ all merchandise that we sell to be free from manufactures defects for a year period from delivery date to the original purchaserI have also sent copies of this in my 1st response Thank You The RoomStore

The consumer purchased items in may of a service was sent out to the consumers house for cushions sinking this was august of The out come was to replace seat core customer did not want repairs but wanted something differentSo we offered two options replace cushion as they are under warranty or customer could reselect with a usage fee as we would have to send these to our clearance center because they can be repairedThe consumer chooses the resectionOn the new items we going to service on May 6Th if the repairs can not be made we will exchange the item that is under warranty Thank You The RoomStore

I purchased furniture at this location, one year later a spring broke in one couch back and the seam has torn in another section, I called for a warranty repair, the repairman showed up an hour before the scheduled time then said they only gave him an hour to fix the problem and it would take longer than that and I need to call for another repairman, so I did, he was scheduled to be here between 7am and 9am, its now after and he is a no show no call! I feel like I am being jerked around and will never do business with the roomstore again!!

The consumer called in may to complain about there leather cracking on the reclinerThey were just past there year warranty which would have covered thisThey did purchases an extended warranty (a copy was given to the consumer) which covers what is listed on the warranty and the leather cracking are not listedI will enclose a copy of the warranty which clearly shows what is coveredThe consumer was notified about the outcome of the report and if the consumer would like to purchase the parts we can order for them Thank You The RoomStore

The consumer purchased the items back in April of the manufacture carried a year warranty (see attached document) and the RoomStore had a limited life time warranty (years)As you can see the warranty is no longer validAt this time The RoomStore can provide a company who could service the items, also the manufacture is out of businessagain the items are out of warranty Thank You The RoomStore
