Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me The statement the business made indicating they have never spoken with me is false I have spoken with them on several occasions The last of which was 1-months ago when I confirmed for them my name, phone number, and told them they do not have my permission to contact anyone else regarding my loan I was told at that time that my record was being updated with that information Following that, I received no further calls, but my relatives started receiving calls again If this is being closed with them and they will no longer contact my family or me, that is an acceptable resolutionThank you Regards,

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I recently spoke to Dave Becker about this matter and he stated that he needed a copy of the cashed money order that was sent to Simms Associates because he stated that the company never received anything but received payments I made in the past I'm going to attempt to get a copy of the cashed money order from Western Union to send to Simms Associates as requested Hopefully, once received my money of $ will be reimbursed to me paid in fullOnce this occurs, then this situation will be resolved I would like to keep this complaint open until this matter is solved to my satisfaction Regards,

Was phoned up a couple of times about putting an advert in for me initially agreed, then changed mind, charged £for to what seemed to me nothing

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Thank you, Simms and [redacted] ***y for responding to this complaint to resolve the issue at handI am willing to make the $ payments to Simms but the original settlement I was given and per [redacted] was recorded was for $3,Upon making a payment I was under the impression on my side and ***’s; that this was the agreement with the $per month until the account is settledI asked for a paper copy of the balance and settlement agreement which was never received [redacted] called to follow up days later (may have more available funds with tax season and this was part of the agreement) the settlement changed to $5,Since the one-time offer was not indicated as such to myself and [redacted] (with recorded calls) said that “Sorry I didn’t know it was a one-time offer” the settlement then went up I don’t find this as a good business practice to change the settlement when the process of repaying on an agreed amount already submitted to both parties I’m willing to work on a settlement and pay a monthly payment due to not having a lump sum of funds the new settlement (which is the fourth number I’ve been given) seems highIf we could reach a settlement of $4,in monthly payments of $(with the occasional extra amount via check) I can make the paymentsI do have to request a written settlement agreement sent via mail with an address to send checks to for payment Thank you for contacting me and I am looking forward to have this matter resolved [redacted] ***

SIMM Associates, Incis a third party collection agency SIMM does not purchase or own debt; it collects on accounts referred to it by debt owners It was founded and incorporated in in Newark, Delaware From its inception, SIMM has been dedicated to providing highly effective collection services to its clients, assuring always that the consumer is dealt with in a professional and appropriate manner [redacted] states in her complaint that she has been contacted by SIMM Associates on several occasions in regards to her defaulted private student loans owned by National Collegiate Trust, and formerly serviced by American Education ServicesShe states that she and her co-signor have received calls twice per day every day and has asked for paperwork in regards to these loansShe also claims that we have threatened to garnish wages and “take” tax returnsMs [redacted] also states that she received a call in December demanding that payments of $per month be made or she would need to pay $up front to reduce the loan amountIn the event that these arrangements were not secured, the party that contacted her stated that they would take legal actionMs [redacted] ’s two defaulted private student loans were placed with SIMM Associates on August 4, Between the placement date of August 4th and August 8th when the complaint was received, two attempts were made to phone number 4431, one attempt was made to and one contact was made with the co-signer at A review of the call discredits the claims made in the dispute as no reference to legal action, requests for paperwork, wage garnishment or the “taking” of tax returns was foundAdditionally, since the files were placed on August 4th, it is not possible for SIMM Associates to have placed the call in December that she referencesIt seems Ms [redacted] may have our company confused with another that may have been calling herDue to the complaint, this account was closed in our officeMs [redacted] will receive no more communications from our officeShould she have any questions she may contact Brad Simendinger at [redacted] *** Thank you

In his original complaint, Mr [redacted] requested that Simm contact him solely by mail or email He indicated his email address is [redacted] Simm responded stating direct mail had proven ineffective and providing the email at Simm to which he might correspond His rejection of the response states he wants no calls to any number and contact solely by email Simm will not contact Mr [redacted] at any number Simm will utilize email for any correspondence with him

Simm Associates is unable to locate an account in Ms [redacted] 's name We searched her name and the phone number provided without success Please have her provide us with information regarding the account about which Simm called Simm leaves a file number in most messages...that would help us locate the account and reply more fully Other information that aids in locating such an account is demographic information such as address, phone numbers, date of birth, or the like Please assure Ms [redacted] that Simm will do all it can to assist her with this matter Thank you
