Esurance records indicate on August 10, 2015, a refund in the amount of $240.00 has been issued back to Mr. Walker’s account on file.
 
On August 11, 2015, Esurance contacted Mr. Walker and left a message to advise him of the refund. On this same day Esurance received notification that the consumer has notified your office that they are satisfied with the outcome and your organization has closed the complaint.

(“Esurance”), on behalf of Esurance Property and Casualty Insurance Company, acknowledges receipt of the consumer complaint submitted by [redacted] regarding a claim on the above referenced private passenger automobile policy.     Esurance is sorry to hear that items are missing from Ms. [redacted]’ vehicle, however, Esurance must abide by the contract between the Company and the policyholder, which states:   EXCLUSIONS FOR PART IV: COVERAGE FOR PHYSICAL DAMAGE TO AN AUTO “We” will not provide coverage for: 19. “Loss” to personal property that is not permanently attached to the “covered auto”, “nonowned auto”, or “trailer”.   While Esurance is empathetic to Ms. [redacted]’ loss, Esurance is required to treat all policyholders the same. Esurance has been unable to receive confirmation from the at-fault party’s insurance carrier that they have accepted 100% liability for this loss, which would allow Esurance to reimburse Ms. [redacted]’ deductible. Esurance has referred this claim to the subrogation department to seek reimbursement for the amount that Esurance paid out on Ms. [redacted]’ vehicle, as well as Ms. [redacted]’ deductible. Once Esurance receives confirmation that the insurance carrier for the at-fault party has accepted liability for the loss and receives reimbursement for the damages, Esurance will send Ms. [redacted]’ her deductible.   To address Ms. [redacted]’ concerns regarding additional day(s) of rental car coverage, Esurance issued a check for $42.90 to Ms. [redacted] on August 14, 2015.   Esurance appreciates the opportunity to respond to this complaint. This Co. wrote my policy wrong causing me to have my registration canceled and 500 fine.

To whom it may concern:   Please accept this letter as confirmation that Esurance Insurance Services, Inc. (Esurance) on behalf of Esurance Insurance Company is in receipt of the consumer complaint regarding the cancellation of a personal automobile policy.   Esurance records indicate...

that this policy was purchased online on 3/3/2017, to be effective 3/4/2017, for a six month policy term. At the time of purchase, and at the subsequent renewal, Ms. [redacted] opted to pay the term premium in monthly installments and agreed to conduct business electronically.   On 10/30/2017, Esurance issued an invoice to remind Ms. [redacted] that a payment was due on 11/4/2017. Esurance was able to collect this scheduled payment, but it was rejected by the bank on 11/9/2017. Esurance immediately issued a delinquency invoice to notify Ms. [redacted] of the past due amount. Esurance also made an attempt to reach Ms. [redacted] by telephone on 11/16/2017, and 11/28/2017, to advise of the past due amount and pending cancellation.   As payment was not provided, Esurance issued a Notice of Cancellation for nonpayment of premium on 11/15/2017, to be effective on 11/30/2017. It is insurance industry standard for effective dates to implement at 12:01AM. The Notice of Cancellation form that was e-mailed and mailed to Ms. [redacted] also discloses the date and time of the policy’s termination:   Important Notices: Your policy will be cancelled as of 12:01 A.M. November 30, 2017. Reason(s) for cancellation: Nonpayment of Premium.    Unfortunately, a payment was not provided before 11/30/2017, and the policy cancelled. Esurance is sorry to lose Ms. [redacted] as a customer and empathizes with her situation, but must abide by (and did adhere to) the contractual agreements made with Ms. [redacted].   Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.   Sincerely,   Holly *. Esurance requires you to provide them with a credit card or bank account which they can access at will, in order to have auto insurance with them. Then my experience has been that they continually look for ways to hit me up for more money and because they have my account info and can take money out of my account whether I agree to the additional expense or not. Their biggest gimmick has been a device I accepted to be used on a car driven primarily by my son, which was supposed to lower my rate, if he maintained a good driving record. My son has done his part, but this device has not saved us any money and Esurance is continually trying to bill additional fees related to this device. To get rid of it, I have to pay them a restocking fee. They also tried to bill me additional fees when they found they did not have a device available for my car. Even though they never sent the device to me, they tried to bill me a restocking fee. If I had not vigorously protested their action, they would have taken money out of my account for something that was entirely their own fault. My experience with them has been annoying and frustrating. In addition, they quoted me a price for home insurance, then after payment, sent me a note saying they would not insure the roof of my home because the roof had not been recently replaced.

I absolutely LOVE Skins and Armor! Not only did they replace my iPhone screen quicker than any mobile service I've ever used, they went above and beyond my expectations! Highly recommended!!!

I have had a number of claims with this insurer. I have noticed a significant difference between the Florida agent and the Wisconsin agents. The latter have been notorious for slow processing -- even insisting on an Examination Under Oath before considering the claim. It left me feeling victimized twice -- once by the theft, and the second time by Esurance for considering me a suspect in my own vehicle's theft. Esurance is an Allstate company. I would not recommend Esurance for many reasons. I would hope Allstate as the parent company would be better.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]  I did get the money for the rent a car, but I am still awaiting my $500.00 deductible. The policy report states it was not my fault. I also lost items out of truck when they towed my car to coparts.  They didn't not care - they told me to turn it in one my home owners insurance.  I do appreciate then getting me payment for my car minus the deducible $500.00 which is due to me. My car was knocked into two park car because I was hit in the back end. I appreciate them being kind to everyone.

Esurance has a page on their site (https://www.esurance.com/insurance/car/compare-quotes) that leads you to believe it will aggregate auto insurance quotes for you from multiple companies, including Esurance, allowing you to compare prices.

But, after filling out all the necessary information for the quote, it actually gives you zero quotes from other companies. It only gives you a quote for Esurance, and it then immediately directs you to the page to purchase their policy.
The whole section of the site is very misleading. They pull you in by promising quotes from multiple companies, but instead only try to get you to purchase from them.

Upon review of my insurance I was given a price. They ran my MVR & that price went down. I paid for the first two months. I was transferred to another individual, & was asked a series of questions that should have been provided through the MVR report. I answered all questions truthfully. They then added an additional $175.00 per month to my policy!!!!

The worst company for claims got into a motor vehicle accident And it was ok in the beginning after the adjuster came it became nothing but hell and fustration, and had to ask for help from the state..

This will be the insurance company I keep for life in the 8 years I have been with them I have needed there help twice every time they are super understanding and quick to answer any questions and I brag about how well they do there job great customer service
