Shipment and billing of merchandise not ordered. Refusal to take items back. Continuos billing for item already paid for.
I was authorized to receive a *** device on April 28,2017. Payment was made by my insurance at the time: *** Blue ***
In October 2017 Sleepmed shipped me unsolicited supplies (tubes, plastic pillows, filters) and billed me $353 for them. As soon as I received the supplies I called them, told them I had not ordered them, did not want them, and would like to return them. They refused to accept the return and insisted I had to pay, or it would affect my credit. To avoid affecting my credit record I paid the full $353 with my credit card.
Sleepmed continue to bill me monthly $83.78 for the *** machine, and as far as I know said machine has already been paid for by my previous insurance.

Desired Outcome

I want sleepmed to stop billing me.

Sleepmed has been withdrawing money from my *** credit card WITHOUT my authorization. I have used this credit card to make payments when they bill me. Now they are withdrawing money every month without billing me, so I don't even know what they are taking my money for. I have contacted Sleepmed at least once a month for several months, and they have not resolved the issue.

The office end of this operation is abysmal. They scheduled me over top of another patient, thus resulting a call 1hr before the appointment to inform me they would not be able to see me at all. Prior to this incident, after waiting 2 weeks for them to file paperwork with my insurance I got a call that informed me I would have to get paperwork sent to them because they couldn't get anyone to send them what they needed when they called my primary physician. After all of this I was forced to take an appointment in Rockville to be seen before next month. After months of waiting for testing and diagnosis I finally got documentation for a cpap machine and a restful night of sleep, only to have to deal with the ineptitude of the office staff. After I receive my machine I will never again do business with Sleepmed and recommend others don't either.

The absolute worst. My mothers mask is 16 months old, should be changed even 3 months - I have been trying for a month to get a new one. Unbelievably frustrating. Non exisitant customer service. I have never seen anything like it.

This company is AWFUL! I have attempted to get a TOTAL BALANCE DUE and pay the balance. As a matter of fact, I had an email sent to me stating that I have a $0 balance. I then received a bill for $44.58 after the paid in full email was sent and no new supplies were ordered. I called to question this and was then told that I had a remaining balance of over $600! This business is a total rip-off. They constantly bill you and you have no idea what it's for. I was told that they "changed systems" and that my balance is from a previous system. What kind of medical practice or business for that matter doesn't merge systems? Find another company to do business with!

Due to a change in my Medicare provider last year I selected this company for my sleep apnea supplies. This company has failed on two separate occasions to deliver the correct sleep apnea supplies I needed and sent different products. They have my specific type of Sleep Apnea supplies on record that I need but sent different products after I tell them what I need. I will not allow Medicare be charged for unsatisfactory performance. I plan to look for a more professional vendor in my area who can deliver the correct supplies when I need them. Beware of this organization.

Items not requested where sent and billed, I returned items and they will not correct the bill.
On 9/21/2015 I was diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep-Apnea and through my insurance I purchased equipment from this company.

I received and paid for additional equipment at least one time prior to the following occurring.

On April 27, 2016 Medical Equipment was sent to my address without any acknowledgement from myself to the company that I needed that equipment. I then contacted the company via phone and asked why they would send me items that I did not need, and bill me for items that my insurance would not cover.

The customer service representative replied that it was part of their automatic system at which time I requested that they stop all automatic deliveries of any equipment. The customer service stated that they would and the rep also stated that I should mail the items back and my account would be corrected.

I did mail all items back to the company at my expense from the USPS Office at *** in the first week of May 2016.

On the second monthly invoice after mailing the items to the company I made an additional phone call to the company and inquired if they had received the equipment that I mailed, and asked that they correct the bill, the person replied that she would look around the office and see if it was there, and that they would contact me back. I never received a follow up. I mailed that invoice dated 5/31/2016 back to the company with a signed statement that 'This bill will not be paid as all items where returned unopened, these items where not ordered by me. *** 6/6/2015'

Although I was never sent Items that I did not request, I did receive annoying phone calls roughly 2 times per month for many months stating something like 'Your insurance provider has requested that you confirm the upcoming order of ...'

After two or three more monthly invoices for those returned items I called the company back again. They asked for the tracking number, I no longer had the receipt from the USPS. They stated that they would have someone from the shipping department contact me. No one ever contacted me.

On September 28 2017 I visited my local office at Sleepmed Hampton Roads LLC, ***, USA. They said that there was nothing that they could do about billing issues with SleepMed Therapy Services, Inc. They did give me a copy of my prescription for the CPAP machine so that I purchase equipment elsewhere.

Desired Outcome

The only two options that I would resolve this issue is if they adjusted my invoice from $137.87 owed to $0. I would even pay this invoice if they sent the items that I returned back to me as I could now use them since so much time has passed. Until this is resolved I will take my business else where, and I will not pay for items that I don't have.

I am being billed for items that were not delivered .
I am being billed for items I have not received.The items were to be received March 2017.I have been billed for these items, spoke with representatives and they tracked the items to Phoenix,Az.but the items never left there.Now I received a bill again for the lost items and spoke to them saying the items were delivered which I never received. I did receive June 2017 and was billed for that which I will be paying for those items.The account number is 50306 and the invoice number for the lost items is ***.

Desired Outcome

I want invoice number *** dropped from my account since I did not received them.

Very poor customer service. I'm looking to find a different vendor for my supplies.

This Company continues to send the wrong supplies and will not allow you to return them after 7 days. I was on vacation when my last shipment came and I attempted to return the box and they refused to accept it because of the 7 day return policy. They have poor customer service!!!

This is a shyster organization that overbills for machines. Do your business elsewhere.

I would give these people a negative review. They just sent me a bill that they say is overdue. I checked and they have already cashed the check I sent to pay the bill last month. Now they are telling me I owe more money, even though that bill was supposed to have been my last. I may be contacting the Revdex.com to file a complaint.

I started as a new customer. Haven't received any Cpap supplies no one returns call they dont know who you are or say you dont have an account no good

1) SleepMed was notified repeatedly that their product was not working and I received no responses for help. I wrote letters and left phone messages to several phone numbers.
2) SleepMed when I reported their product didn't work they kept sending me parts and charging me for them yet still received no human contact or follow up.
3) SleepMed never replied for how I send their non-working unit back to them until I called the finance department. SleepMed continued to try to get me to buy supplies and charge me when I wrote them letters that the equipment did not work for me.
4) SleepMed continues to be uncooperative in correcting the situation and keeps billing me which should be illegal since I have sent their product back at my expense.
5) SleepMed admits they received the machine yet still keeps billing me for having it which I do not!! Isn't this illegal'
6) SleepMed to be supplying a medical device to humans never asked how they could help me when I reported it did not work for me. This is outrageous that people with medical conditions gets treated this way!!
7) SleepMed has sent payment such as lower than 100.00 to collection agency trying to cripple my great credit score which shows I pay my bills. It was at 780 when this started. They have done this twice. When I called them about this the person on the phone for SleepMed was also confused why it was sent to collections for such a little amount. I have made some payments to keep my credit score good yet SleepMed is of no help.
8) SleepMed was/is very careless in handling my health condition. Even though I sent their non-working machine back nobody from sleepmed has asked if I was ok or need help. They just sent small bills to collection agency.
9) SleepMed delivered the machine without me at my house to try it out. This would have been ok if it had worked but it didn't.
10) I askede SleeMed who they report to so I could file a complaint by letter and verbally and I have received nothing but more false billing

Desired Outcome

Correction to a credit report SleepMed to reimburse me for money owed. Sending the unit back and paying for equipment that was non useful. Repair the sending to collections. Stop sending bills for items I do not have. Apologize for their lack of concern for my health. Apologize for all their rudeness. Apologize for all their false billing(s)!!!!!! Send me which Medical and all other governing agencies that they report to so I can file what has happened with me.

Sleep Med removed false charges yet offered no reimbursement of over payment( Large one time sum for the machine in the beginning and I no longer have the machine or was able to use it), No apology, No reimbursement of shipping fees I encountered. Sleep Med still has not sent me a list of governing agencies that they may answer to so I can inform these agencies of the inhumane way Sleep Med operates. Somebody needs to correct their methods. Removing the charges was a give me. This company needs to be stopped in these practices that create financial burden, uncaring methods of people who need help with medical conditions.

This is a horrible company that scams people by sending CPAP and BPAP supplies on a quarterly basis while billing both them and their insurance companies
large amounts of money. These supplies can all be purchased online on an as-needed basis by other vendors. They sent me over $400.00 of supplies to a address that was not were I lived and billed me for
these items that I did not want, order, or use. Now they
have sent this to a collection agent. I tried to call their horrible customer service several times but finally heard back today that they will still demand payment.
Avoid this company at all cost!
