Hi
The customer was communicated with on numerous occasionsThe receipt for synthetic turf does not show that it was paid in fullThat was communicated to the customer who stated her contractor said that receipt would be fineThe customer was then out of the country for a month they said
which is why the application ran out of timeWe have made an exception to the rule and allowed the customer rebate to processed without a receipt stating it as paid in fullThe application is not denied now but reinstatedThe customer has been sent a Wrequest emailThis is an email that is requesting the customer fill out a Wto allow us to process the rebateThe IRS has told Metropolitan that any rebate we issue over $requires us to get a wfrom the customer then later we will issue our rebate customers 1099sSo the application is reinstated and we will need the Wwithout the Wwe will not be able to process rebate per the IRS.
thx

We appreciate you honoring your prior commitment, also we would value your mailing out the rebate in a much timely manner - your email mentioned that we would have to wait another weeks, being we already paid for all material out of our pockets and finished the project back in April.Regards,*** * *** ***

I applied for the SoCal Water$mart Program rebate last April (# ***)I have still not received my rebate checkI have emailed about it, used the chat feature online and called about itEvery time I've been told "the check is in the mail" or "we'll cancel the check and send a new one"I can't get a straight answer from any one I speak with
Yesterday I was told by *** the check was mail certified via USPSWhen I asked for the certified tracking number I was not given that information and told they would have to get it to meI talked to Breanna today again told they didn't have the tracking information, wouldn't confirm it was mailed certified and would have to get that information for me

Business states that they apologize for the delayAccording to company records, this check was paid on February 11th, Check #***

Mrand Mrs***,Thank you for notifying us of the situationI reviewed the information you provided and that of our vendor and I have approved your application for the entire 3,sqftI apologize for any inconvenienceTo clarify your application was not denied it was requesting a second
measurement as your receipt showed that you purchased "used" synthetic turfSince we are using public funds for this program we do not allow "used or free" synthetic turf as part of the program as we cannot allow people to make money off of the programSo the email was about your synthetic turf being "used" not that it was made of recycled material as all synthetic turf is made of recycled material. As you can see your material costs for the synthetic turf are more than the rebate which is why we have that rule but make exceptions as needed. Since you also, put in drip irrigation, and drought tolerant plants etc we made an exception We appreciate you participating in the program during this droughtWe have rebated on tens of thousands of homes and sometimes there are unique circumstances that need follow-up.Thx***?

HiThe project was completed prior to the pre-approval which was the reason the computer denied the project . An exception has been made by me and the customer will be notified of this through the program email system. So the project has been approved and the situation...

I did get the check but it took too long.  They stated on their web site that it will take 6-8 weeks and it took 12 weeksThere is no reason for this hold!!!

Hello,
LADWP has reviewed the application, customer response, and attachments. This application will remain denied. Upon initial review, the project appeared to be 100% pavers based on the pictures provided by the customer, and was denied by SoCal Water$mart for not meeting its own requirement of including some plants in the converted area. The customer has since provided pictures claiming that plants were planted in the conversion project, and within the pre-approved area. For clarification, if the pictures provided showed some plants in the approved area at the time the project was submitted and was able to be approved by SoCal Water$mart, it will still not meet the requirements of LADWP. LADWP is upholding the denial. Please see the requirement below that was provided to the customer in the pre-approval email sent on 1/11/2016.
"Converted areas must contain newly planted California-Friendly plants to create at least 40% landscape coverage at maturity."
Upon extensive review of this application and all provided documents, LADWP has decided that this application does not meet the program requirements, and this project will remain denied.
