I purchased the Office Professional software download from Software Empire earlier this year and now find after buying a new computer, the product key is not recognized by Microsoft when trying to activate it again on my new computer Software Empire now tells me what I purchased was a one time download Thanks for nothing from them, no new product key, no refund...nothing Don't waste your money on their product as you will have to reinstall at some point

I purchased a Windows product for my year old daughter's computer on December 25, After waiting for the product through the mail, realized it was available online for download, only thing is IT WON"T DOWNLOAD I kept getting an error message that my daughter's computer isn't compatible I requested a refund and they have refused although I never downloaded the product, neither have they attempted to help resolve the problemTheir site says if they cant fix the problem they will refund I need my money back for a product that my daughter can't use! They only respond via email When I tried to call I was on hold for about min then the system hung up!

Had to go to the last ( 3rd step ) to activate the installed windows and it involved too much work The last step involves typing numbers the site provides into many many boxes

I purchased Windows to install on a new laptopRan into some driver related issues, specifically the manufacturer did not have Windows drivers available for that modelThe support people at Empire worked hard with me in trying to resolve the problem, but when it became obvious the software was not going to install, they refunded my money with no problems I would not hesitate to do business with this company in the future

I am very satisfied with the people working at Software Empire and their work ethicI ordered Windowsand then discovered my computer could not support the bitI asked if they would exchange the product downloaded and they graciously provided a URL to download the product in bitI was having difficulty with Microsoft Office and was working with a representative from Microsoft, who stated I had a problem with Windows because it wasn't activatedI then contacted Software Empire to obtain a new key which was recommended by Microsoft representativeThe gentleman at Software Empire offered to 'ghost' into my computer and correct the problem in a very short timeI am one very happy camper

I ordered their Windows Home Premium to upgrade my Vista Home Premium The download was fine but it wouldn't activate After back and forth Software Empire eventually, after sending me three product keys, decided that they had received bad keys from their non-microsoft vendor and refunded my charge I pointed out to them that wasn't really a help as without activation, I would soon be out of businessThey promised to resolve it and said that it would take 24-hours After six days and no further response to my emails, I moved on and was able to buy a correct key for about the same price from another vendor Bad product keys seems to be a consistent problem with this company based on the reviews here Note that Software Empire is still advertising this product so buyer beware

I ordered windows and it didn't work, I tried calling customer service they hung up on me several time and then I couldn't get ahold of them when I called back I will be filing a disbute and fraud with my bank and the police

Prior to placing an order I did go ahead and read the posted complaints I decided to go ahead and take a chance and purchased Office Professional anyway I did encounter a licensing error and called Software Empire immediately The tech I spoke with - was most helpful, courteous and informative - walking me through getting to the phone activation option screen I used my smart phone in conjunction with the laptop I was doing the install on - everything was smooth sailing Signed - a Happy Camper (and the first time I've ever posted a review)

Buying software online isn't as easy as it should be There are simply too many people out there selling risky products online--they might be real or they might be fakesI'm very happy to say Software Empire is the real dealThey say they'll do whtit takes to make the customer happy, and they really do

I purchased and downloaded a copy of Microsoft Office home and student for my daughter who is taking a course on this software from "Software Empire
When I used that online registration feature to register with Microsoft it gave me the message that this software key has been used the maximum number of times According to the other reviews this is a common problem with this company I have now been on hold minutes which has given me ample time to type this review while waiting Please beware of this company

Today Brad at Software Empire helped me get my office program up and running on my computer to access my documents,
He was kind courteous and very helpful
At 60, I'm not computer savvyhe took over my computer and fixed me up
