Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. Purchased Office 2016. There was no link to Microsoft as they stated. E-mailed them with no response. Got on Microsoft website and attempted to use key but it was invalid because it was already used. E-mailed them again but no response. Called them but was on hold for over an hour and finally hung up. Contacted my CC company and am having the charges reversed.

Purchased a download copy of MSOffice 2013 thru Software Empire tonight. Process was not quick, mostly because my internet was slow, but was straight-forward. Had to call Microsoft for a verification when I opened the software the first time, and that was about the same. All in all I spent about an hour from purchase to use. No complaints.

Excellent customer service and a prompt refund when nothing else worked.

I purchased a Windows product for my 13 year old daughter's computer on December 25, 2016. After waiting for the product through the mail, realized it was available online for download, only thing is IT WON"T DOWNLOAD. I kept getting an error message that my daughter's computer isn't compatible. I requested a refund and they have refused although I never downloaded the product, neither have they attempted to help resolve the problem. Their site says if they cant fix the problem they will refund. I need my money back for a product that my daughter can't use! They only respond via email. When I tried to call I was on hold for about 40 min then the system hung up!

I purchased Windows 7 to install on a new laptop. Ran into some driver related issues, specifically the manufacturer did not have Windows 7 drivers available for that model. The support people at Empire worked hard with me in trying to resolve the problem, but when it became obvious the software was not going to install, they refunded my money with no problems.

I would not hesitate to do business with this company in the future.

When license key did not activate properly they immediately sent me a new key that did work.

SoftwareEmpire offers some of the best rates for Office 2010. I purchased the product and recieved the download quickly. Installed and activated office without any problems. Will buy from there again.

I bought Windows 7 from Software Empire. Supposedly a full version. I downloaded and got more than I asked for, such as malware. After it was removed the computer is inoperable. Calls not returned or put on hold for hour, finally tired of holding. NO HELP AT ALL. Unfortunately my son was sick, by time I looked into it and that it did not work everything it had cleared bank and no challenge was possible. I went to Microsoft webside to see if key that I was given was legitimate response was that it was already installed on another computer and would have to get corrected with mfg. of computer. This company is not to be trusted

Software empire is a scam, they sell software that somehow passes Microsoft's activation verification for about a year and then suddenly stops working. Microsoft is partly to blame as their size and complexity and lack of sufficient IT adds to this piracy problem, you can't even speak with a US citizen at Microsoft, it's all Indian call center staff.

Purchased software, needed assistance & no one answered Software Empire telephone. Need refund because software would not activate.

They take your money and forget about you. They give you bogus activation codes and never call you back because you have to leave a message. No customer service. They stole from us.

Had to go to the last ( 3rd step ) to activate the installed windows and it involved
too much work .. The last step involves typing numbers the site provides into many
many boxes .

I purchased office from this company in June 2015. I had just bought a new computer from Best Buy. The program loaded and worked fine. A few days later, later I had updates for the computer and uploaded them which caused my computer to freeze up. I was out of town to attend a company meeting. I went to the local Best Buy and they said they could only repair by reinstalling the computer to the original state. I had to do it because I needed for the meeting. It removed the office program. Empire was kind enough to send me another key. This did not work. They sent me another down load. This didn't work. Got another product key and did not work. Finally called and got Mark who was very helpful in resolving the issue. Every time I have emailed them they have responded. I will say when I have left a phone message; I didn't get a return call every time. In their defense I have to say a company that sells so cheap cannot have a huge staff and it is understandable why calls are not returned. Although it took some time to get my problem resolved, it was not their fault and I see this company as reputable.

I ordered their Windows 7 Home Premium to upgrade my Vista Home Premium.

The download was fine but it wouldn't activate.

After back and forth Software Empire eventually, after sending me three product keys, decided that they had received bad keys from their non-microsoft vendor and refunded my charge.

I pointed out to them that wasn't really a help as without activation, I would soon be out of business. They promised to resolve it and said that it would take 24-48 hours.

After six days and no further response to my emails, I moved on and was able to buy a correct key for about the same price from another vendor.

Bad product keys seems to be a consistent problem with this company based on the reviews here.

Note that Software Empire is still advertising this product so buyer beware.

I purchased the Office Professional 2013 software download from Software Empire earlier this year and now find after buying a new computer, the product key is not recognized by Microsoft when trying to activate it again on my new computer. Software Empire now tells me what I purchased was a one time download. Thanks for nothing from them, no new product key, no refund...nothing. Don't waste your money on their product as you will have to reinstall at some point.

I am very satisfied with the people working at Software Empire and their work ethic. I ordered Windows7 64 and then discovered my computer could not support the 64 bit. I asked if they would exchange the product downloaded and they graciously provided a URL to download the product in 32 bit. I was having difficulty with Microsoft Office and was working with a representative from Microsoft, who stated I had a problem with Windows because it wasn't activated. I then contacted Software Empire to obtain a new key which was recommended by Microsoft representative. The gentleman at Software Empire offered to 'ghost' into my computer and correct the problem in a very short time. I am one very happy camper.

Purchased MS Office 2016 download and never got the access key!

While placing an order for MS Office 2013, noticed that there are no internet security protection infos on their website.
I googled the company name for any reviews and came up empty so I stopped short of "checkout". Hope someone could help validate this company?
