Dear Cindy, This is to advise you that Mr[redacted] has brought his [redacted] back to our Service Department so that we could resolve the issue in his complaint We will advise you of the the outcome as soon as all repairs are complete and will forward copies to you at that time Thank you for your attention in this matter Please feel free to contact our Service Manager Mr [redacted] if you have any questions at [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted] ***Controller Big O Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram [redacted]

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. I see that Big O has sent a correct invoice and estimate, however they did not include a copy of all the other "problems" they found along with those estimated prices. I have attached a photo of this paper, on which you can see where they claim the wheel bearing to be "very loose" and spark plugs to be "badly worn". I paid for the truck to be looked at in good faith that the business was giving us correct information about the conditions of our vehicle. After finding out they had lied about these things, I am outraged to be charged anything by them for looking at the vehicle! We asked them to find out what was causing the vehicle to overheat, not to lie to us about things completely unrelated to this problem. As stated before, a couple of days after the truck was seen, my father, [redacted] ***, called and left a message for the service manager including our name, the truck model, and our complaint. He also left a phone number to be reached at twice so there could be no mistake and (not to our surprise) we received no call back about the matter. I understand that dealerships such as Big O Dodge make their money preying on people who don't know much about cars, by scaring them into replacing things in perfect condition, by saying things like "your wheel is going to come off" and if they wish to conduct their business in this manner and hope no one realizes, that is their choice. Unfortunately, with this customer it has not worked out in their favor and I believe they owe me a refund. Also, I must add after our experience and reading many other reviews on the BBB website and elsewhere, I would hardly deem Big O Dodge a "reputable" business. Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
The mechanics did not perform their jobs in a professional or proficent
manner leaving my vehicle in a dangerous condition that could have resulted in serious damager or possible injury or death if it an accident occuredThe dealership refussed to fix my vehicle in a timely manner and did not provide further information about when I could speak with a manager to resolve this issueI had no other choice but to go to *** and *** to resolve the issues and fix the damage to my vehicle. The dealership claims "We are all humans and make mistakes" and "The person you spoke with didn't know what she was doing" are sufficent responses
The mechanic from *** did me a favor and did not charge me, therefore there is no official record and they do not wish to make a response on my behalfI have a reciept from *** where I had to have my jeep realigned because the mechanic and the dealership did not tighten the lug nuts causing the tires to wobble and throw my vehicle out of alignment
If my refund from the dealership is not granted I will continue my complaints further up the corporate ladder with a full description of what was wrong with my vehicle and all emails enclosed from the Revdex.com and from ** *** until my refund is made in full.
Regards,
*** ***

I would give them stars if it was allowedThis dealer is Horrible if you want any type of serviceThey tell nothing but lies to the customerTried to talk to the service manager *** about a issue that I had and was filled with more lies by himIf you like to be lied to then this is the place to go, If not I suggest you find another DealershipThis place is horrible!!!!

RevDex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, I would like to be contacted on how I am to receive this refundI did go to Big O dodge, to speak with the store manager but was never given the opportunityRegards, *** * *** ***

I'm done going to this dodge dealershipI get my oil changed there every miles and also went to them for other problems I encounteredEvery time I go to service dept, they are all rudeWhen I bring my car in and go to the desk with the guys or girls they say "Well did you have an appointment?" I say no and they say well without an impotment you will be waiting a little while to get the car backOk I understand that I didn't make an aptSo now I started making aptsWhen I had a routine oil change I asked them to check my tires because my light was onThey came back and said they filled the tire back up no leakdays later my light comes back onI take it to the *** dealership and they said there was a leak and they replaced the valveHowever Dodge would need to put a sensor valve onI was upset because why did dodge not find that the first time aroundSo I make an appt to bring my car in and again the guy and girls I talked to at service desks were rudeSaid even though I had an apt they couldn't get my car back for hrs and it takes about an hour to do the jobThe girl said its like the doctors office you have to waitNeedless to say I am no longer doing business with them from here on out I have been to other dealerships and they are nothing but wonderful to you because they understand your time is valuableBut not at this place, they don't care they just schedule you and expect you to wait two hrs after your spot because it's like a doctors apt

No refund will be given

The customer will receive no money from Big O
We tried to resolve with the customer and received only rude responses to several different employees only trying to help himWe will not be bullied into giving him money back that he agreed to pay

I have a attached the Repair Order and estimate belonging to the[redacted] for your review.  We did not cause any of the malfunctions the vehicle was experiencing. We did not tow the vehicle.  We only did work that was asked for by the [redacted], and provided an estimate to do the work...

the vehicle needed.  The customer chose to do the work themselves and then have another shop check it afterwards.  The [redacted] only paid for the tow bill and for our mechanic to find out what was wrong with their vehicle.  There have been no voicemails or emails directed to our service manager from the [redacted] so we had no way of knowing that they wished for us to contact them.  As a reputable franchised automobile dealership we are obligated to inform customers of what we feel will address their concerns for their vehicle and keep them safe.  I don't know how [redacted] in [redacted] does things, but that is how we do things at Big O in Greenville.  We will not be refunding any money to the [redacted] that they willingly paid us for work we did at their request.

Noone is acting like a child and as far as social media yes I'm not the only one big o has gotten over on plenty more bad reviews besides mine and they told me the car I was sent a letter in 2013 to do a diff service only problem with that is I bought the car in November 2013 why would  I spend money like that when I just bought the car from big o and victim Yea I'm the victim here had my car been diagnosed I wouldn't be on here but I paid 115 for big o to play the guessing game

BEST NEW CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER !!!
We had a wonderful experience with Big O Dodge. At first we communicated with Josh M[redacted], the internet manager, and when we arrived on the lot we were introduced to Mark F[redacted]. We already knew what we wanted when we got there and after looking at every Dodge Ram on the lot, and a LOT of patience from Mark and Josh, we found my husbands new truck. Both, Mark and Josh, were extremely friendly, accommodating with a good sense of humor.
Eric was very knowledgeable about the truck and spent about over 45 minutes with us going over all the new "high tech" electronics before we left and made sure we understood everything prior to driving off the lot.
We have purchased many new vehicles in the past and this was definitely the best experience we have ever had. Too many times we have purchased a vehicle and it felt like it was just a "business" deal but this time it felt more like we were dealing with a friend.
I would highly recommend Mark F[redacted] or Josh M[redacted] the next time you purchase a vehicle, they will not do you wrong.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience to the customer and apologize for our oversight in the matter. The customer will be reimbursed for the purchase price of the oil change contract they bought during that visit. We will not reimburse money for the diagnostic work that was done.

the only person I have spoken to over the details of this is [redacted]… they know that they did not credit us for the trade in.. the finance guy named rob was very rude to my wife and he would not go over the contract information with her … I contacted the dealership the very next morning to tell them about everything .. they did not return my calls until after I started filing complaints. so they have had over a week to resolve this matter . now we are prepared to contact every organization to help bring this to a close up to reversing the sale… since they have not fixed their mistake and replaced our trade in we are now going after everything we can get to make us whole.

[redacted]

Originally in the negotiation process the customer was told that the new vehicle payment would be $381 per month.  After the trade in of their current vehicle the payment went down to $369 per month.  The customer knew this and signed off on the deal.  Everything was...

fine. After the fact they got confused and accused us of not accounting for the trade in the deal.  We gave them good money for their trade that was in less-than-desirable condition.   This was laid out plainly on the buyer's order that the customer signed.  Buyers order can be provided if necessary.  The customer has their signed copy of it in their deal packet.

The customer, a mechanic who owns his own shop, expects Big O to work on his car under warranty with no maintenance being done? He comes to us after never doing any documented maintenance on the vehicle, approves a diagnostic charge, and then gets upset and acts like a child on social media when we...

recommend that he do a required flush to attempt to fix the issue while also make him eligible for any necessary service contract(warranty) repairs? Then he also acts surprised at the $115 charge he authorized beforehand? The only victim here is the dealership and employees that work hard to take care of customers and run a reputable business. We have contacted the customer and asked him what we could do to make him happy, and his reply was, "I don't want to argue about it"...frankly sir we don't know how to help you at this point. My apologies if I seem perturbed, but when attempts to pacify a customer with irrational complaints are met with slander on social media against my company and employees I tend to get a little upset. We will not refund any money, nor will we work on his vehicle again.

Mr. [redacted] just got involved with the issues at hand October 27th, 2015. He said his dealership/service department manager [redacted] was aware of the problem, but said that he wasn't up to that point. He never once told my wife nor myself if she was not satisfied with their offer regarding the trade of the truck to contact FCA. My wife have left 3 messages since November 1st 2015, on Mr [redacted] voice mail asking him to please return her call, and he has not done so yet. Also to tell a lie and say that they have assisted us (The [redacted]), on multiple occasions trying to address our concerns with the truck? We would like to know at least one time, since they say multiple times, that they assisted us in trying to address our concerns. Tell us just when this time took place. In their response he said "characteristic of the vehicle and that his wife drives one that does the exact same thing"? Who's wife are they referring to? My wife drives a Mercedes Benz and a Lincoln, not a truck. Since they want to lie about things, our next and future steps will be getting the media involved, starting with channel 7. I'm pretty sure once we bring attention to what's going on, there will be a lot more people to come forth with the same issues and concerns.
Thank You
Mr. And Mrs. [redacted]
