I am rejecting this response because: the information provided by the salesperson was fabricated in order to get a quick saleTheir refusal to even admit guilt, or to even address what the salesperson told us, is a clear message to others. Their refusal to offer any lessor remedy to resolve this should also be a warning to all potential customers reading this. Stay as far away as possible from this company so they do not get scammed as we did with the initial canvassing of neighborhoods targeting the elderlyTheir refusal to back their own product is one final clue to steer clear and ALWAYS get a second estimate! Don't even think twice they may back their own warranty!!

I attached a copy of the ***'s contract for reviewThe windows were installed per the agreed contractThe corner window sample is the same as the window contracted forThere is not another window available as Mr*** statedMr*** also states a competitor has the same window for less moneyWe are an exclusive dealer for the Renewal by Andersen product line in New MexicoThe 1" spacing that Mr*** refers to is not represented or demonstrated in our product or in our contract(please see attached contract)

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: The survey referred to was installation only and problems existed after thisThe primary survey sent to the corporate headquarters about the windows and experience with the local company was given the lowest rating possibleThe small sample window gave a impression of greater dimensions as stated by the salesmanI am not even sure the window was the same as the ones we had installedThe primary issue is we were told the windows were of a certain dimension and when we saw the full window during the storm, we realized we were sold something we did not ask forIn addition, bait and switch tactics were used to elicit a quick sale never to hear from them againI trusted them to give us the factsNow we are stuck with a $15,for windows that we did not ask forThe average cost of the windows was $I learned later that just with one competitor alone these same windows sold for $per window installed. There has been NO attempt on the part of the company to resolve this issue in ANY MANNER WHATSOEVERThe difficulty is, if they can not back their product what chance do we have to have a warranty backed? Lastly, the measurement referred to by the company's response detracts from the inquiry madeThe spacing between the panes is the critical issue and this, at the most, was barely 1/2" if that, not the 1" or greater we were told as this would have had much betterr insulation properties.

I am sorry that Mr*** is not happy with his window purchaseI am also very surprised considering he gave us the highest rating achievable on the Home Owner Closeout survey (please see attachment)In response to Mr***'s concern over the glass thickness, our glass is 1/8" (which is double
strength)1/10" would be considered single strengthWe do not offer anything but double strength glassHowever, we do offer patio doors with 1/4" glassThe overall outside measurement is nearly an inch at 7/8"These measurements that are being referred to are not available in our literatureThe corner cut sample that was demonstrated is the exact cut of the actual windowIf there was ever a concern Mr*** would have been able to put a tape up to the corner sampleIn response to Mr***'s concern over our employees, we do not use subcontractorsI'm not sure where the confusion came fromSaul, who was the installer on this job is an employee of the company, not a subcontractorSaul was asked by Mr*** if he was a subcontractor and he said he answered "no"As for the tool that was dropped, yes Saul said a pry bar was dropped from the scaffolding, luckily there was no damage and no injuriesThis of course was an accidentDuring the installation I asked Saul if the ***'s ever asked about the glass thickness, he said "no, it was never brought up"Saul said the ***'s were very pleasant and seemed happy with the installation (which was reflected in the "Home Owner Closeout")We are not going to remove the windows and are not refunding any moneyThe work was fulfilled per the agreed contract

I apologize for the transaction delay. This account was cancelled. The $1551.40 was retuned to the account last week. The zero balance will be reflected on the next statement. We agree to accept the cancellation without penalties or fees.

I have spoken with a representative of Four Seasons Sunrooms, in c/o of Luxury Bath, and hope that they will carrying out with their fore mentioned response in a timely manner.   Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. We are sorry the [redacted]'s had this experience in having their stucco job completed. It appears during the recent rain some discoloration occurred during the curing process.   On July 28th we addressed all concerns regarding the stucco.  We completed a stucco wash and fogging. ...

Today our stucco manager followed up to be sure all items were completed to the [redacted]'s satisfaction.

We are sorry to hear of your experience. Our division manager has since met with Mr. [redacted] and agreed to replace the warped outer cabinet.  When the cabinet is replaced we will also re-insulate the interior cabinet.  We also agree to supply the necessary startup chemicals.  At...

this time, the cabinet components have been ordered.  When we are notified of the ship date we will schedule the repairs.

I am rejecting this response because:The response contains factual errors and statements that foster the appearance that ABD has never had a dissatisfied customer. To be precise, our cancellation notice came 11 days after meeting with the sales representative. The door ordered was of standard dimensions 72" x 80"so, no special order build instructions were required. Additionally, I find it highly unlikely that our door was built and ready to install within the 11 day period from meeting with the sales person and when we received calls to schedule installation three weeks from that date. If ABD is so committed to customer satisfaction why didn't they call to discuss our issues? All we received was an email which restates their contract position. See below.Hi [redacted],I have had a chance to review your contract and research your cancellation. Please note that according to your sales agreement you are responsible for 33% of the contract total plus expense. The cancellation came in way after the 3 day right to cancel.  From what I can tell, the issue involves the installation date. We can always work with your schedule if needed. In the 10 years I have worked for Renewal by Andersen I have never heard of an instance in which we would not accommodate the schedule of our customer. I'm hoping this is just a misunderstanding. If you choose to cancel I will prepare the cancellation fees and forward a cancellation statement to G[redacted]. The loan would still be honored for the cancellation fee.If you would like to move forward with the installation of the windows you contracted for I'd be happy to work with you on a date that fits into your schedule.Best Regards,Kellie L[redacted] Consumer Relations Manager###-###-####

Mr. [redacted], We apologize for any miscommunication . It looks like you were able to speak with a different Manager on Wednesday who confirmed cancellation.  We have processed your cancellation and have notified the loan provider.  The transaction in question has been reversed at this...

time and will be reflected in your next statement.  If you have any additional questions please don't hesitate to contact us.  ###-###-####

Again, we apologize for the delay in receiving the refund.  I 'm glad we were able to overnight another check to you.  At this time we have refunded in full.

We have been out to inspect the work that Mrs. [redacted] is not satisfied with and we agree there are multiple pieces of tile that need to be re-set. We are working with the tile manufacturer to locate enough tile for the re-work. We will also re-set the tub to avoid any settling in the surrounding...

tile. Once the new tile is set we will re-grout the newly set tile along with the tile around the tub. In addition there are several uneven grout lines that will be fixed and aligned. We agree to correct the work to Mrs. [redacted]'s satisfaction.

I am rejecting this response because: The information from the company has NOT been provided to me directly.  There has been NO recent communication either by phone, email, text, or personal visit by ANYONE from this company, after a brief site visit by an assistant construction manager.  That person said I would be hearing from someone in the next week after his visit.  NO...there was NO ONE who called, etc to consult with me PERSONALLY about how to resolve this.  I left a voice message with Kelly asking to PLEASE be paid for the damaged art frame, the microstatic valve, and the 2nd visit by the mechanical engineer to re-install the valve correctly.  I asked by $500.00 to cover that.  NO RESPONSE.  I want a LICENSED JACUZZI TECHNICIAN to set the tub, and calk around it correctly.  Also...NONE of the calking in this bathroom has been sealed.  I also asked for an itemized list of the charges for materials and labor, and was told many times it was being "worked on."  This company received $8,000.00 from me.  If I went to Wal-Mart and bought that much, I would at least get a  RECEIPT listing EACH ITEM  I bought!  This company is NOT truthful with their customers.  This is, to me, the worst violation that a company can make, and violates the principles of the Revdex.com.

Mr. [redacted],  I apologize for the continued and unwanted communication.  We have removed your contact info from our email, mail and calling lists.  You are also able to "unsubscribe" to any emails previously received. It is not our intention to cause aggravation...

through our marketing efforts.

Mr. [redacted], we are sorry for your recent experience.  I have had a chance to review the window specifications that were offered by Steve. We are willing to keep the pricing at what Steve offered to you.  Please keep in mind that this pricing is at a further discount than your original...

purchase. We will also arrange any financing you may require for this order. If this is acceptable to you we can arrange for your technical measure and order immediately.

We apologize that we were unable to assist Mr. [redacted] with his replacement windows. Unfortunately our product line is not recommended for installation on manufactured homes. It was during subsequent appointment qualification that this was determined. Again, we apologize for not being able to...

meet his needs for windows/doors. We would never knowingly install a window that is not recommended per specifications.
