My husband was looking for a certain ford fusion. He left word with a salesman what he was looking for and was told they would find one and call him.
All the sudden out of the blue we get a call and are told to come and see this car asap.
There it was a 2010 oxford black, tinted windows, v6 and under 70000 miles.
It was in perfect shape just what we ordered.
[redacted] made the finance process very smooth and fast. Hats off to somerset sales we would recomend them to everyone every where every time!

I recently bought a car from Somerset Sales and it has been nothing but a nightmare!
-My car started having issues not even 2 weeks from buying it and when I went back to the owner he said that it must have been something that happened since I got it. I took it in for a diagnostic test and it needed several thousand dollars’ worth of repairs and NONE of the repairs were something that just happened, but yet had been wrong with the car the whole time and he still put it on his lot and sold it knowing it needed HUGE repairs.
-I tried to return the vehicle after having it less than 30 days and the owner would not take it back. He tried to help with some repairs but the majority I have had to pay for ($2,000+, which I made the choice to have the repairs done somewhere else because I do NOT trust this place).
-In the beginning when my car started acting funny he said to bring it in and his mechanic would look at it, they told me the coils needed to be replaced, so they charged me to replace the coils ($250) and I didnt even own the car more then 14 days. Then when I got the car back it was still acting funny, he said bring it in again, so I brought it in and he gave me a loaner. The mechanic calls me and says the differential is bad ($1,200 repair) but that they were going to pay for the part, and I had to pay for labor. At this time I hadnt even driven my car that much and it was already sitting back on his lot needing to be repaired. I told him I didnt want to deal with a car like this and he told me he would take it back, but when I went back to get into something else he made it so difficult and impossible to get into something else, I found myself stuck with this car. When the differential was "repaired", I went to pick it up and my car broke down before I could even get out of Somerset and one of the salesman had to come and get me and my broke down car and bring me back to the shop to get the loaner car again till they could figure out what happened. I got a call the next day saying that now it was "fixed" and there was some confusion between the mechanic and the guy who called me saying it was ready. So I went to pick up the vehicle and I found a huge crack down my windshield. I asked them about it and funny no one knew what had happened. When I demanded the owner fix it he refused and blamed the crack on me, but it had been sitting on his lot for weeks! SO I ended up having to pay to get my 'new' car a new windshield.
-And to top it off- when he “loaned” me a vehicle to use while my car was getting fixed I found a loaded clip for a 9MM handgun in the glove compartment! When I told the owner that it was in there he just laughed it off…
-Not to mention the car was terribly overpriced and the car had been in an accident and they NEVER disclosed this to me...
This was a horrible experience buying my first car. It is obvious this place does not check thier cars, they do not inspect, and I would stay far far away from Somerset Auto Sales! This is the lowest of low car dealers and I will make sure to tell everyone I know to NEVER deal with this place.

this company Somerset sales will go out of their way to help a customer find a vehicle then they will stand behind the vehicle the salesmen are very respect full and the service shop does an outstanding job on standing behind parts and getting stuff fixed as soon as possible. I do recommend this company to people I know and I will return to buy another vehicle when needed.

I just finance a 2010 Chrysler 300 and I must say you can't believe everything you read because my experience with Somerset Sales was a very great experience.Just bring everything they ask you to bring, and you will drive away with a car. I stay in Milwaukee and that's 5 hours away from Somerset I can honestly say I will take that drive to buy from them [redacted] was my salesman great guy thanks [redacted] keep up the good work. The big car dealer will tell you anything to sale you a car and they will tell you been approved but not for the car you want until you get there, and that's when you will wish you had went Somerset Sales, when they say you are approved you are no ** at all so please gave them a call when you are looking to buy your next car. ** FREE

Review: We purchased a 2007 Chevy Suburban from the dealership on 02/08/13. I also purchased an extended warranty for this vehicle to cover vehicle for 60 months or up to 250,000 miles. On 05/14/14 I drove my truck to work and it broke down. The warranty was through Reliable Protection. Their address and phone number are [redacted]. Upon getting home the following morning I called Reliable Protection to have my vehicle towed (as they cover towing) and have my vehicle brought to a shop for repair. I was told that my truck was no longer under warranty. I asked them why and they informed me that Somerset Sales and Leasing had notified them to cancel my warranty in October 2013. They said that I needed to call the dealership and ask why. I contacted Scott who told me they absolutely would not have done something like that, however we could talk about trading our vehicle in for a newer model with less miles. I told him no I just wanted to get to the bottom of why my truck wasnt being covered. He said that he would call the warranty company and see what was going on and call me back. He never called back. I called again the following morning (05/16) promptly at 9 am. I have been given 20 reasons why he is unavailable to talk. When I called back at 4:45 pm and told the person answering the phone that I would stay on hold until he could talk to me he promptly got on the phone and then accused me of having an attitude with him when I asked what he had figured out and told me he would not be dealing with me any further. I have spoken with supervisor Kathy [redacted] through Reliable Protection who has also been trying to resolve this issue and find out what happened and she came to me with a final "there is nothing we can do, the dealership canceled this warranty and you have to deal with them" answer. So I am left here with a $18,000.00 truck that doesnt run and no warranty despite having purchased an extended high mile warranty for my protection.Desired Settlement: I currently owe just over $10,000 on the truck having paid off approximately $8000 this past year including the down payment on the truck. I would either like the dealership to honor the warranty they canceled including towing of the vehicle, and full repairs minus the $100 deductible OR I would like the dealership to purchase my truck back for what I have left owed on it. I will take the loss of what I have already paid, they can keep the truck, and I will find something else for now. Either way I should not be out any money on this deal having to repair and replace a vehicle because they decided to cancel my warranty for whatever reason.

Thank you for contacting me regarding Mr. [redacted]. I have been in contact with Mr. [redacted] numerous times since his vehicle failed on his way to work. We have

Mitch [redacted] is fabulous!! Along with Scott and JD. This was the best dealership experience I've ever had! They're personable, easy to deal with and do everything they can to get someone in a vehicle they need. My go-to dealership!!!

I just wanted to say that my experience with Mr. Ron L[redacted] was a great one. He was very helpful and even with our credit challenges we were able to obtain financing to rebuild our credit. We wanted to thank everyone that we dealt with. It was nice to be treated like you were just as important as everyone that walked through the door.
Thanks again Ron!!

Review: I purchased a 2003 Nissan Sentra SER on Saturday November 21st 2015 with no warranty, it was sold as-is. I wasn't told that I could buy a warranty from them if cars were sold without. I live approx. 1.5 hours away and halfway home from the dealership I started hearing a rattle coming from the under the hood. I thought it was something minor that could wait to get diagnosed until the following payday. The car wasn't driven again until the following Tuesday, November 24th and when I drove it I immediately heard the rattling noise again. Day by day the noise got louder and on Saturday November 28th the car died while I was driving on the highway with my daughter. It was a terrifying experience having a young child in that situation.

I called the dealership the following Monday when they were open and they were very understanding and said they would happily help me get it fixed. I informed them that I had it towed to a local shop near me and they requested that I get a service quote and that they'd find a better quote if need be. I was quoted for $2000-$2500 for an engine replacement. When I told Somerset the price they said they'd rather get a quote from their in house service department. For the next 4 days help and communication were limited. I would call at least twice daily to check on the status and each time someone different would tell me they were looking into it and would get back to me. Each time I called, someone different would answer and give me different updates until today, December 3rd, when the service manager told me that no one had even informed him of a service quote. I asked to have the owner contact me directly but received a call from the [redacted] telling me that they were quoted similarly and that they weren't going to pay for the repair. While asking the [redacted] why their decision changed about paying for the repair he told me that they never said they would pay for it. He also hung up on me when I requested to talk to the owner. I did not raise my voice or act rude in any way. I simply told him that I can't pay for a car that doesn't work, so he suggested I call the lien holder. I called the credit agency and they said they'd get back to me after their legal department was able to look into it.Desired Settlement: I either need Somerset to replace the engine, repair the engine or exchange my vehicle. I drove it a total of 100 miles over 4 days and it doesn't work, and I refuse to be stuck paying for anything myself.

In response to your letter to the Revdex.com; first of all I would like to tell youhow very sorry we are for the problem you have with your 2003 NissanSentra. It certainly is not our desire or intent to have any problemswith the cars that are purchased from us. When you came in topurchase the vehicle, you took it for a test drive, and it drove perfectly. We explained to you that we needed to do an inspection on the car,you told us that was not necessary, but we insisted. The inspectionwent great, everything checked out well. The car is a 2003 Nissan Sentra with 93,000 miles. We explained thatthe car was being sold as is, and you were fine with that and signed allof the papers reflecting that. You called us a week later to tell us that the car had broken down. Atthat point, we told you to have it checked out to determine what theissue was. On December 2, 2015 you called telling us that it was anengine problem. Our representative told you that he would get back toyou with a plan to help you with the repairs the next day;unfortunately, the next day he had a family emergency and could notget back to you. He called you the next day, December 4, 2016 as soonas he got into the office with our plan. He explained to you that wewould be happy to complete the repairs at our cost for everything;parts and labor, that would be a significate savings for you and wewould not profit at all on the repair. At that point, you conveyed to us the fact that you would not exceptthat and that you wanted a different solution. But that is what we areoffering. You did buy a 12 year old car with 93,000 miles on it. You didsign all of the paperwork stating an as is sale. We are still willing torepair the vehicle at our cost. We feel that is a fair compromise.Sincerely;Somerset Sales & Leasing, inc.

Somerset Auto,Thank you for your quick response and revised acceptance to pay for all costs pertaining to the repair of the 2003 Nissan Sentra. I will call your office tomorrow morning, Saturday December 5th, and ask to speak with your representative ([redacted]) to discuss how we will move forward. I anticipate the repairs be completed ASAP as I have been without a vehicle since Saturday November 28th. Much appreciated,[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Regards,

Recently, I saw a Mercedes for sale on the Somerset Sales Website. The car seemed to be in a great condition in the pictures. However, before buying the car, I was told that the camshaft position sensor needed to be replaced. The salesperson told me that he would be able to sale the car as it is, but lower it a couple of thousand dollars. However, I insisted that they fix the problem through the Mercedes Dealership, and then I would buy the car. First, he told me that the nearest dealership was 100 miles away. However, when I looked it up myself, there was one only 20 miles away! Red Flag #1!!!
The next day, I was told that the car was sent to the Mercedes dealer to be repaired. For the next several days, I called everyday to see the status of the vehicle. Every time I was told that Mercedes was working on the car, and this continued for about a week. Finally, after wasting my time calling the dealer everyday, I decided to call all of the local Mercedes dealers. I provided the ViN number and none of the Mercedes dealerships had ever seen the car! The mercedes dealer said that Somerset Sales brought other cars in the past, but never the car that I was waiting to be repaired. The salesperson was lying all along! RED FLAG number 2!
I would recommend NOT using this car dealership to buy any cars.

just wanted to say I have bad credit and bob [redacted] got me financed and in a real nice car on what I could afford! just wanted to say thank you to him and the staff! real nice staff and bob made me feel realcomfortable about my situation and making me comfortable at his business so thank you very much! [redacted]

Great customer service.

I realize that a used car is sold as is but I bought a pick up and right away (less than 200 miles and 100 of that was on the drive home) I realized it had issues. I contacted them right away. Blew me off. Put 1000 into it to get it safe to drive. I dont know if they hid the issues or the previous owner did it and it got by them too. But I have never bought a vehicle with nasty dirty oil

Fantastic to work with thanks Ron and Scott !!

I was very impressed by how I was actually able to get a vehicle without having any credit at all. Thank u Ron for all ur help.

Mitchell [redacted] Helped me find the car that I have been loving for a long time got me approved live in Des Moines Iowa drove 4 hours and had everything ready for me to go thnaks a lot will do business again with you guys

I had a great experience with [redacted] at Somerset Auto. He answered all my questions, guided me through the process, and was very helpful. He was able to find an option that worked best for my needs and came up with a plan that worked for me. Not the usual "used car salesman" approach at all, I never once felt I was being lied to or scammed.

This place really came through for me and I'm e er so greatly appreciate it.

I purchased a vehicle from Somerset Auto Sales on 3/26/16. Today on 3/31/16 while the vehicle was sitting backed in my driveway, the rear window shattered. I called to ask if they could be of any help, and the individual I worked with (Bob) told me that there is no possible way it could shatter without something happening to it. He then gave me a number to an overpriced repair service (The highest cost I have been given yet) and rushed to get me off the phone. I would not recommend anyone to this dealer, because they obviously do not stand behind the product they sell. I will now be out $265 more, after just giving them $2900 and also paying their $87 "processing fee" to run my debit card, when I could have just went and picked up cash like I planned. Horrible experience.

It was the worst, longest experience purchasing a vehicle I've ever had. We were there from 845am until roughly 330pm. We were bounced back and forth from Scott to Jeremy and back. We had no idea half the time what was going on, we would be just sitting there for hours before someone would inform us of anything usually we had to ask them what was going on. They would be working on one thing, walk away and leave us there to sit with no idea what they were doing or if we were supposed to leave. It was terrible, through the whole process we really didn't know at what part we were at in progress or what was even going on. Both my boyfriend and I have bought several vehicles other places with loans and neither of us have this bad of service. To top it off, we did not get get the vehicle we went for and not much effort was made to help us get that one and when we signed papers they did not put both names on for the title. Several times we while we were sitting there, [redacted] would go help other customers after we had been there several hours, he would walk away to go talk to another person still after we were there so many hours. We had no idea that we would spend our whole day there and only see one other customer ALL day. Now we know why word of mouth isn't much impressed. We are very dissatisfied with our service!! For rating would never go higher than a 2 star.

I recommend going to Somerset Sales and Leasing to anybody wanting to buy a car, or needing any work done on your vehicles. The guys at Somerset sales and Leasing are all so friendly and always ready to help you with any of your needs. I've purchased 2 vehicles there and continue to go back for regular maintenance. I have also recommended family and friends there and they have all been taken care of with a smile. Keep up the good work!
