We do not claim that we spent $10 on each item. We guarantee that each item is worth at least $10 in MSRP value. Thus, the customer's statement/question is null and void. Again, we offer a a refund to customer, if she shows items she received does not meet our guarantee criteria.

Review: I learned about this website from a television program. Purchased 2 packages ($20 worth) from them on August **, 2013. The website says will ship within 7 business days and it is now September **, 2013 with no confirmation of any shipping what-so-ever. Have emailed multiple times (3-4) and have had no response at all. Review: This company [redacted] purports to send a mystery item which is portrayed as a fun surprise. The examples given on the site are all useful or whimsical standalone items guaranteed to be worth $10. Here for example is what the site says about its premise.

Your Something May Be Anything

It may be something you need, something you want or something you desire. Your something may be a cool shiny gadget, rare book, party game, handmade necklace, reverse clock, box of gourmet chocolates, popular video game, portable table tennis set, pashmina scarf, set of kitchen knives, pair of handmade earrings, garden tool, kitchen appliance, unique home decor item, electronic equipment, fine crafting tool or an office supply item.

Examples pictured include a Kindle and a remote control helicopter. The [redacted] customer reviews on the site include ties, pocket watches, purses. All of these are stand-alone items, which - even if not well suited for the recipient, are not completely useless and could at least be re-gifted to a more appropriate recipient.

What we received was a 3-foot Philips audio/video cable. This is an extremely specific electronic component, absolutely useless without hundreds of dollars of home entertainment equipment which we certainly do not have. There has been no response at all to my multiple complaint emails to the company's support email: [redacted]. I have also posted a complaint on the company's [redacted] page:

[redacted]. A lot of other complaints are lodged there as well, without response. I have been trying to get connected to [redacted] so I could give them a one-star review, but have not yet succeeded.

Our someethingstore purchase was intended as a birthday gift. This has been a very embarrassing outcome for us, and one which I would hope the company would not have intended.

I feel the company has very dishonestly chosen to feature only positive reviews on its website, and misrepresented the range of items it would ship.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to refund my money and to stop shipping items which do not have any plausible use for the vast majority of potential recipients.

Review: We placed an order with "The Something Store Inc." on the [redacted] of December for 6 items totaling $60 with the intent of gifting said items for a family Christmas Party. Our prepaid debit card was debited the $60 for the items, however we received no correspondence from "The Something Store Inc." only the receipt from PayPal (their method of transaction.) It is now December the [redacted] and we have emailed "The Something Store Inc." 3 times now with absolutely no response to our inquiries concerning the status of our order and our concerns that we will receive our product in time for the holiday season. Their website specifically says at (http[redacted]) "We will ship your randomly picked something within 7 business days and will confirm shipment via email." however this has not been the case with our order and upon deeper research we have discovered dozens if not hundreds of other customers who have had and continue to have similar experiences (https:[redacted]).

In some instances we have read how "The Something Store Inc." has, after thorough complaint emails from customers, sent emails to certain customers reassuring that their orders have been shipped with tracking numbers included in the email. Those same customer reviews then go on to explain that the postal service had not actually received any items to ship to the customers, and it was still MONTHS before the customers got anything from "The Something Store Inc.". We do not have months to wait, and at this point we do not trust their business practices based on our experience and the experiences of other consumers. We desire a full refund as this is the only way to satisfy our complaint. We are scrambling last minute to buy replacement Christmas Gifts that should have been taken care of once we placed an order with "The Something Store Inc."Desired Settlement: We wish for a FULL REFUND to our prepaid debit card and to wash our hands of this entire experience. Sending any gifts at this point is not acceptable as we have had to spend beyond our budget replacing the gifts we never got or even heard about.

Review: I purchased an item from The Something Store on Saturday July [redacted]. My payment of ten dollars was taken out of my bank account on the same day, July [redacted], but I have not received my product. It is now July [redacted]. I have attempted contact with The Something Store three times and they have only responded once. I first asked them why I had not received tracking information about my item, then why I had not received my item, and my last attempt to contact them asked for my item order to be cancelled and for my money to be returned to me. I have not heard back from them after my first contact attempt.Desired Settlement: I would like for my payment of ten dollars to be refunded to my bank account. I would also like a complimentary "something" for the poor customer service that I have had to deal with and the outrageous time frame for this situation.

Review: I ordered two "somethings" from somethingstore.com on 7/*/2013 and they have not yet arrived. After two attempts to contact the company via email, they finally sent me a shipping tracking number on 7/** and claimed that the order had been shipped. The shipping information indicates that the shipper has only received the electronic shipping information, and not the actual package. The shipping status remains the same today. Even though they claimed they shipped the item, they did not. I requested a refund that I never received. On the SomethingStore.com webiste, they state items will ship within seven days. My items took longer than a month to ship. By the time they finally shipped, it was far too late for my intended purposes. I would like to return the items to the business for a full refund.

Review: I placed an order (order # [redacted]) on July [redacted]. On July [redacted] they emailed me saying it had shipped. I took the tracking number and was unable to track it with USPS. I called USPS and they said a tracking number had been issued but a package was never received for shipment. My aunt also placed an order with this company and she has experienced the same issue. The company has no contact phone number, just an email, we have both emailed several times with no response from the company. I have requested they either ship the 2 items or refund my money, they have not responded to me, nor can I see where they have done either (shipped order or issued a refund).Desired Settlement: I would either like my 2 items I ordered, as gifts for my god son's birthday, or I would like a refund of my purchase. It is not acceptable they keep my money and not send him anything.

Review: On December the [redacted] I ordered 16 items from this company at 10.00 each for a total of 160.00 The company has taken my money, though as of the [redacted], has not shipped my item after stating to allow 7 days for shipping. The items purchased were to be Christmas gifts for my family. I have sent 5 emails to the company's customer service e-mail address as they do not provide any type of phone number. None of my e-mails were answered. I also request that the Revdex.com view the facebook page attached to the website. While looking for contact information I discovered that a number of people have been having the same issue with not receiving their products and no response to e-mailed inquiries. The website claimed that orders placed before the [redacted] will arrive before Christmas, though some have been waiting for a month now. So far the following has taken place: No customer service; false advertisement; charging for products that were not provided (theft); failure to meet agreed terms. If I do not receive a satisfactory action before Christmas, I will be seeking legal assistance. Please find a number for these people.Desired Settlement: For those like me that have posted on the [redacted] page, something needs to be offered as compensation to the stress given. My desired outcome would be that each of us not only receive our order, but that quality items are provided to those that have experienced these problems.

Review: I purchased a product from somethingstore.com on July [redacted]. On their website it says that it takes 7 days for their products to be shipped. I did not receive a shipping confirmation until August [redacted], 13 days later (which is far from their claim of 7 days). Though I received shipping confirmation August [redacted], when I track the shipment now - one week later - it appears it has not even been picked up for delivery. I followed up with them via email (the only method available to contact them - they list no contact phone number) before I received the shipping confirmation, and have yet to receive a response. Review: I ordered 2 somethings ($20) from the SomethingStore on July **,2013. They charged my credit card on July **, 2013. They sent me an email with a tracking number on July [redacted]. As of today (August **,2013) I have NOT received anything from the Somethingstore. They say I'm to get the items within 10 days. I have emailed the company 4 times with NO response. They have NO phone number listed. The USPS tracking number I was given is: (your site won't allow me to enter the tracking number). I contacted the US Postal Service about the tracking number & I was told that NO package has been dropped off to deliver. I am very upset about this & am concerned that they have my VISA credit card number. So, I've contacted my credit card company and shut down my card, so that they can't charge me any more money. Now I'm without a credit card for 2 weeks. The reference number they gave me when I placed my order online is:(sorry your site won't allow me to enter my order number). I've asked for my money back in an email to the Somethingstore & that's what I hoping you can get for me. I just want my twenty dollars back at this point. Review: I ordered something from their website on December **, 2014 and the payment was taken out of my account. I never received anything for the money I spent. I received an email with a tracking number, but the tracking statement just says that a shipping label has been created.
