I had cool sculpting done over 10 months ago. I just heard their advertisement for cool sculpting that says you will lose fat cells and it never returns. I never lost any weight at all. This would definitely be false advertising and I feel I should be given and immediate refund for false advertising.

I have contacted Sofie at Sona Med Spa and they want to come in for a consult to be measured to see if any difference. I agreed to go next Wed but again I can tell no difference. I still want to proceed with this complaint.

Our Regional Director has left several messages for this Client in an attempt to discuss the matter and come to resolution. But the Client has not returned our calls.

As to the claims about our advertising, they are simply not true. CoolSculpting is not a weight loss solution, thus any criticism in that regard is unwarranted. However, CoolSculpting does permanently destroy subcutaneous fat. Our advertising reflects accurately what CoolSculpting does effectively do (and makes no claim whatsoever about weight loss).

We ask that the Revdex.com encourage this Client to contact us in order to resolve.

Was sold cosmetic services that did not work; was not properly informed of some services.
I should have known better than to do business with this company a second time. I had purchased laser hair removal services from them in the past and had not had complete hair removal. I was seeking complete removal from those areas and removal from another area, as well. I was told a year later by their nurse that the results I was seeking on the previously treated area was not possible -- this was after they had sold me a package to treat it anyway, at a cost to me of hundreds of dollars. The other package I purchased resulted in no change at all. Additionally, at the time of purchase I was about to leave because the pricing quoted prior to the time and the price I was charged were not the same. They advertise discounted prices, but there is no clarity in what the true base price is, and the discounts they advertise do not match the prices they charge. I was told it was my fault, that there was something going on with me medically that I had to disprove before they could offer me any remuneration. At cost to me, I had medical tests performed which proved I did not have the conditions they claimed I must have. When I went in for consultation, they had someone else's medical chart merged with mine -- that of someone who did have the condition. When I told them that was not my chart and not my information, that I had never lived at that address or had that name, and that I had never had that medical condition, now or in the past, they just said "oops". After speaking with the nurse, I was called several weeks later and told that they would offer me more treatment sessions -- for a procedure that did not work on me and which I should not have been sold. I declined, as I do not want to waste my time and effort to pursue a pointless path. I requested a refund for the package that should have never been sold to me a second time, in addition to a refund for at least part of the other package, as I had told them all through the process that it was not working and they would not allow me to do anything about it until I had completed my treatment sessions. This is a shady business that does not tell clients the truth, deliberately obfuscates pricing, and does not offer any positive recourse when their process does not work. Had I only bought a new package for an area, I might not be upset. However, having bought a package for a previously treated area that should never have been sold to me, I am utterly disgusted.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund if possible. If that is not possible, I would like a full refund for the bikini package and a partial refund for the facial package.

We have reached out to this patient. She has informed us she is out of town and unable to speak to us until she returns. We anticipate hearing from her next week.

Not satisfied with the outcome of the service provided.
Went to Sona Med Spa to get laser hair removal in hopes of being overly satisfied with the results. After a ton of money, time and gas spent plus the pain, I am far from satisfied. There is little to no hair reduction in the areas that were treated. I was not informed when I went in to sign up that lighter hair does not see much to any reduction. I was told that it works great and that a lot of people are satisfied. Sadly I did not do much in depth research before going so bad on my part. Most people do not see any hair reduction and it is a waste of money. After my scheduled and paid treatments were over and I had not seen any reduction, I went in for a "hair eval" so they could take pictures and send it off to see if I could get more treatments to get rid of the hair. I was told I would hear back from them within days, waited a week and then I called them. I was told they did all they could and that if I wanted to I could PAY more MONEY to get the areas treated some more. Therefore this seems to be a big money bracket and instead of them examining the areas and giving good, professional advice on whether this would be a reasonable treatment for my hair type and color, I was just told that it works great and I would be happy with the end result. I was not told until my first appointment that blonde and light colored hair is not even effected by the laser treatment. Lack of good information from who I thought were the professionals and lack of research on my part costed me a lot of money and pain. I would not recommend this treatment for anyone unless they did their research and could guarantee it would work. You DO NOT get a refund regardless if it works or not. You get what you get and that's that. This was the Sona Med Spa on ***. Very disappointed and aggravated at the end result. I would never do this again. They should have one of the professionals, not the lady behind the desk signing you up, do an examination to see if this treatment would actually work for you or if it was out of reach. Be honest with people and you would have happier customers. It is all about making the dollar at this location instead of providing good, quality service.

I was hoping to receive further free treatments to get rid of the hair in the treated areas. A refund if nothing else.

We have been in contact with this patient and we were able to successfully resolve the complaint.

Cancelled my laser appointment on 4/11/17, a day before the scheduled appointment. Spoke with Katie and was told I would get a refund in 14 days.
Spoke with Nicole and scheduled an appt for laser hair removal on 4/12/17. Called 4/11/17 attempted to cancel and was transferred to Katie who says that because its a cosmetic procedure refunds aren't typically given out. After I threatened to contact Revdex.com she tried to backtrack and say she didn't say it and that there was no need to contact Revdex.com. She then says she'd submit my request to the higher office and it would take up to 14 days to get a refund. The only charge I see is for $200 the procedure I made the appt for cost around $900. What is the $200. Regardless, I never received services and want a refund. I contacted them a day before the appt and instead of respectfully honoring my request they made it seem like it couldn't be done and I was stuck or I'd lose the payment. If that's the case Nicole should have made it known before she ran the credit card and I wouldn't have scheduled the appt in the first place.

Desired Outcome

I want my $200 back. I did not receive any services and I cancelled in a reasonable amount of time.
