Review: Sound Boatworks LLC, after 30 days of placing my order and my Credit Card charged for the order's total amount, I never received my order.I called several times, the answer was, "You will get your order in the next two days, 30 days have passed and always the same lie.They never produced an UPS Tracking Number, every time you call they will make up a excuse, I'm very frustrated, next call will be to cancel my order and the tedious process of getting the refund.The worst part is they lie in your face, BAD, BAD PEOPLE.Desired Settlement: I just want a full refund of my money and also not be contacted by these people for any other offers in the future

Review: I ordered items that were supposed to be in stock and arrive within a week. The tracking page kept saying "will ship in 2-3 days". I kept emailing customer service, and calling but most of my emails were not returned and the calls were mostly fruitless because the receptionists kept saying the items would ship in a day or two and this has been going on now for almost 2 months. I only have one of my items and the other two never shipped. I have been without my products for 7 weeks now. I wish I had never ordered from this company-it has been a real headache.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund and I will order from another company that can deliver.

Review: In June 2013, I ordered a boat dolly ($657) with special beach wheels ($175) from Sound Boatworks. With shipping, the total order was $882. I received the dolly in July without the special beach wheels. In August I discovered that I was billed twice for the $882 amount. I have been continuously discussing the issue with Chris Boynton (the co-founder of the company), he has agreed with my assessment of the situation, and he has promised MULTIPLE times that the "check is in the mail" because he couldn't credit my credit card. A refund check for $1,057 ($882+$175) has never been received. I have been blatantly lied to and my money has not been refunded. Their "F" rating is well-deserved.Desired Settlement: I would like a cashier's check for the total amount due of $1,057. If payment is not received, I will see them in court.

Review: We ordered a life jacket for our child on 6/5/14 and were told it would be shipped in 2-3 business days and we still have not received the jacket and it is 8/29/14. We have called multiple times and have have been given the run around each time. We were finally told on 8/20/14 that they would overnight the jacket and again we have still not received it and on top of all that our credit card was charged twice but we were finally credited on 8/28/14.Desired Settlement: We want the life jacket and also want them to reimburse us the price of the jacket. We should not have to pay when a company does this bad of business. We gave them amble amount of time and are now tired of all the run around and not returning our phone calls when they say they will call us baxk with an update.

Review: I purchased 3 items from the company on 12 July 2014 through the Sound Boatworks online store http://www.[redacted].

The total cost of my purchase was USD $297.40 and the money was deducted through [redacted] on 14 July 2014.

On 31 August, I sent an email to the company at "[redacted]" as I still have not received my goods.

On 3 September, the company replied saying that their 'Customer Care Reps' will get back to me within 24 hours.

On 9 September, I sent another email to them as they did not reply within 24 hours as promised.

On 11 September, '[redacted]' replied saying that they were waiting for my email with regards to the 'International Shipping costs' which I did not receive. I replied '[redacted]' email telling him that I did not receive any email regarding shipping cost.

On 13 September, '[redacted]' replied saying that he will get his warehouse to resend the email.

On 16 September, I replied to '[redacted]' telling him that I have waited long enough and I requested for a cancellation of my order and a full refund.

On 19 September, '[redacted]' acknowledged that email and agreed to proceed with the cancellation and credit the refund to my [redacted] account immediately.

On 9 October, I emailed '[redacted]' asking him why I still have not receive my refund.

On 11 October, '[redacted]' replied that he is checking with their 'customer service reps' on the refund and will contact me once he is able to give me an answer.

On 31 October, I emailed '[redacted]' telling him that I still have not gotten my refund nor update from him.

On 11 November, I emailed '[redacted]' again reminding him to reply my email dated 31 October.

On 13 November, '[redacted]' replied saying that he is checking with [redacted] with regards to the refund.

On 20 November, 29 November and 10 December, I emailed '[redacted]' and there was no reply for all the 3 emails.Desired Settlement: Please refund me my USD $297.40 through [redacted].

Review: I ordered a dolly for a sunfish online from Sound Boatworks on July 17,2013. I never received the dolly and the company charge my credit card twice for the dolly that was never delivered. I contacted them over the phone and went to the store in person and always was told that the dolly would be deliver the following week. After 7 weeks of hearing the same story I asked for a refund and was not given a refund. We contacted our credit card and are disputing the charges. Additionally we were charged twice for the product that was not delivered as the credit card company informed us. I believe this is considered fraud.

Review: I purchased a lifejacket as a Christmas gift for my son on December 2, I called Sound Boatworks directly to place the order and my card was charged immediately for $Two weeks later the lifejacket still wasnt delivered so I began with my first of phone calls to the company on December The representative said that it had been shipped, but they were unable to provide a tracking numberthe first of many liesI followed up by phone on December 16, and and the lifejacket did not make it for ChristmasEach time I called I received the same tired excuses:it was shipped (but no tracking number can be provided)it was lostthe supplier that we (Sound Boatworks) ordered from had a backorderI dont know what happenedthe shipping company must have lost the packageI finally gave up and asked for a full refund from Chris, the manager, he said the refund would be posted to my account within to business daysanother lieIt has been days since I ordered the lifejacket and the business days since a promise of a refundI feel that I have, foolishly, been more than patient with Sound BoatworksIf I had done my due diligence and checked the Revdex.com website I would have seen that this situation is common with Sound BoatworksI strongly encourage anyone choosing to do business with Sound Boatworks not toSo Sound Boatworks stole close to $100.00, left my son without a Christmas present and continued to lie for days and countingDesired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $sent by overnight mail in a check made payable to meI do not trust them when they say they will credit my card as clearly they have no intention of following throughI paid for an item that was never delivered

This order was placed on 12/02/and shipped out shortly thereafter via USPS Priority Mail, our standard shipping method for promo priced shipping, of which the customer choseThe customer followed up with us approxweek later requesting tracking information for the package, the USPS Priority Mail tracking number was supplied and tracking was attempted by Sound Boatworks, unfortunately the tracking number wasn't yielding any resultsWe suggested that with the overload of shipments during this holiday season, USPS' website may not be working 100% and that we would give it a few more days for deliveryThe customer made several more follow up calls and each time we weren't able to track the package via USPS, at that time we determined USPS had lost the package and we began insurance claims on our sideUnfortunately we weren't able to make immediate re-shipment as this product was out of stock and on back order with the manufacturer, information that we had also relayed to our customer, over the course of the following weeks, our customer made several more follow up calls, each of which were answered and unfortunately weren't able to provide shipment information as we had not received any from the manufacturer shipping directAt that time the customer requested a cancellation be made and refund issuedWe complied with this request and issued a refund, unfortunately due to the customer's original payment method, which was split up over a Visa Gift Card and the balance applied to his own credit card, our system kicked the refund backThe customer followed up in regards to the refund again and we located the issue and asked to credit it back to the customer's credit card and forgo the Visa Gift Card creditThis credit was processed on 02/10/for $

Horrible experience. The equipment did not arrive in time for a race when I paid over $80 for 3 day shipping. After returning some unused equipment, they never returned my money. I went back and forth with them over the phone and email for literally 7 months and every time was promised full compensation. To top it off, they double charged me and could not even manage to refund that money. I am resorting to a grievance claim with the credit card company. Do not buy anything from Sound Boatworks!!!

Review: On May 23, 2014, I ordered products online from SoundBoatworks ("SB"). Copied below is the order detail:

Despite several calls with [redacted] at SB and his assurances that the products would ship soon, the products were never delivered. SB did attempt delivery of part of the order - the [redacted] - but SB sent that product via [redacted] to my physical address where I do not have [redacted] service (I have a PO Box number, but I selected [redacted] delivery for my order and only gave my physical address). I spoke with [redacted] by phone and gave him my PO Box number in addition to my physical address, but the products were never delivered.Desired Settlement: I would like prompt delivery of my original order or refund of the full amount to my credit card

Review: Item returned and received by Sound Boatworks LLC on April 9, 2014. Website states refunds will take 7-10 business days. May 6 2014 I began emailing [redacted] and the Office email, have not received a single response to numerous emails. Every time I call to ask about the status of my refund I am told I have to talk to [redacted] and he is on the phone, left him messages to call me. During one of the phone calls around May 20,2014 I was told the credit card info they had for me had expired so I gave current info. Another call on May 30,2014 was told the refund had been processed the day I gave cc info and "as stated on website would take 7 to 10 business days". Today June 4,2014, still no refund. Please help resolve.Desired Settlement: REFUND my cc the purchase price immediately.

Review: Sound Boatworks chared me : $338.39 (8/17/2015), $338.39 (8/18/2015), $305.15 (8/22/2015),

a total charge of $981.93.

Subsequently, they returned $338.39 on (8/18/2015) and $33.24 on (8/21/2015) for a total refund of

$371.63.

Thus they have charged me $981.93-$371.63 = $610.30 for an item that sold for $305.15. This an

over charge of $305.15. I have been trying unsuccessfully for the last month to get Sound Boatworks

to refund the overcharge.Desired Settlement: This company needs to refund the overcharge of $305.15.

Hi,With regards to the complain for Mr. [redacted], the customer placed an order with us on August 17th for several items. Shortly after the order was placed a couple of the items were removed from the order per the customer's request, the original total for the order was $338.39, when the order was modified we processed a credit for $33.24, leaving the modified order total as $305.15. Evidently after the order was modified, our automated order processing system treated the revision as a new order and made a 2nd charge to Mr. [redacted]'s credit card in the amount of $305.15. When we were notified by the customer of this error, we placed a reversal on the charge to have it credited back to his credit card. Approx. 10 days later the customer contacted us again and let us know the credit hadn't posted to his credit card yet, at that time I was unable to talk to him directly, but did contact our CC processor to have the credit entered manually. I then called the customer back to let him know of that action, at the time he advised us that he had filed a complaint with the Revdex.com, but was satisfied that we followed up and ensured his credit was completed.

Review: My son purchased a dry suit for $393.75 on Black Friday (November 2013). He received an email shortly there after saying it was on back order until March 2014. When his credit card statement came he had been charged for the suit. I called Sound Boatworks at that time to question the charge as the suit had not yet been shipped so why was the card charged. The young lady I spoke to said in order to get the Black Friday price they had to charge the account. I said I had never heard of such thing. We waited until March. No dry suit. I called Sound Boatworks and was told by the same young lady that it was on back order until April now. I called back in April and spoke to [redacted] (manager)and told him we wanted a refund on the suit. He said he would have to see if it had already been shipped before he could cancel the order. He did not call me back as he said he would so I called back. I told him to refund the suit. He said he would. I called back in May since no refund had appeared on my son's credit card. I spoke to the young lady who said she would have to check with her supervisor. I called the next day May 14 and spoke to [redacted] and he said the card should have been credited back in April and he would have to check with his card company. I called back and he said he was still waiting on his card company. I told him I needed to see a credit within the next few days or I would file a complaint with the Revdex.com. Apparently that threat did not matter for it is now May 17th no credit has been applied to the card.Desired Settlement: I would like my son's credit card credited for the price of the suit and tax collected $418.75.

Review: I order $586 worth of sailing parts from http://www.shopsoundboatworks.com/ on June 4, 2012. They have been in contact to tell me my parts are back ordered and will be delivered within 8 weeks several times. I have requested a refund of my money several times since I have not received any of the ordered parts. I have given them over a year to ship me parts and are no longer communicating any updates on parts delivery or refund date.
