Southaven Plumbing was selected for us by our home warranty company to fix a septic pump. The owner called us to let us know that he normally doesn't work on septic pumps (which is fine) but told us he would come out to look at it and that he knew someone that could probably rebuild it. He offered to come out mid-afternoon when he contacted us, but my husband indicated he would not be off until around 4pm. Southaven Plumbing agreed that was fine and to give a call when my husband got off and he would come out then. My husband got off at 4, called, and no one answered. The voicemail was full. My husband called two more times throughout the evening with no response. He also sent a text message which was never replied to. The following day, we contacted the home warranty company to let them know that Southaven Plumbing never came out. The representative from the warranty company reached out to Southaven Plumbing and also did not receive a response. My complaint is not that he possibly couldn't fix the pump; it's that he told us he would still come to look at it and then never showed up or contacted us/returned phone calls. Extremely poor customer service.

I contacted *** and notified them it wasn't a stoppage like they had listed when they called me they said they would dispatch someone who works on septic systems. I appreciate your enthusiasm but, I don't work for net 30 companies and I also don't work on Septic Systems. This is an issue you need to take up with your warranty company.

Business performed a job never received a copy of invoice and the owner stated he would give a refund based on overpayment after writing invoice.
I previously used this business on January 3 for a toilet repair. I was pleased. I had a leak under my driveway on Thursday, February 20. I called and Robert and he said that he would send someone that works with him to look at it since he had strep throat. On Friday, February 21 the guy John came over and looked on it and did not give me a direct quote but stated that it be between 1000-1100. I agreed to that because I was currently without water. John went to get the materials and since he had called Robert earlier asking questions about what he needed to do he went to his home and picked Robert ( owner up). Once they arrived I went outside and talked with them.Robert informed me that John was going to work with him to help him out and he was showing him the ropes. They had previously worked together and he wanted him to work with him. After the work was completed I asked how much it would be? Robert pointed to John and he gave me 1500. I should have questioned at that moment but I thought once I received the invoice I would know just what happened. I went to the bank and got cash ( something I should not have done). Robert said well my writing is chicken scratch so send me your email address and I will send the invoice over. I sent him my email address on that day. He stated via text that he will send it over that evening. On Tuesday, Feb 25 he sent me a text and stated that after figuring my invoice he realized that I was overcharged and he said he was going to mail the invoice with the money. He also went on to say that he had a conversation with John and he told him that he always sticks with the quoted price and that he was going to make it right and he always stick with the original price and he wants to be honest. He also stated that he would do the pricing from now on. I thought that was very honest and noble of him. Days went by and I did not receive anything in the mail I reached out via text on 3/2 and he said it was on the dash of the truck and glad I reminded him. From that point on I sent MANY texts only to be told it was in the mail ( 3/10, 3/11,3/17,3/19,3/24,4/22, 4/23,4,24,4/27,5/6). During those times I also called and received no call back at all. There was a message once the virus started that he was not working. I was trying to contact him because I had a higher than usual water bill and had no way of showing I had a leak because I did not have an invoice. I finally reached him towards the end of April and I was told everything that was going on in his life and that he would come by that day to give me the refund and invoice. He never called or showed up. On May 15 ( he was called from a different number because he was not answering any of my calls and he told me he was in the area and he would be here by 2:00. He never showed up or called. I called him back and he never answered. I feel that this was very unprofessional and I have gotten the run around since Feb. Promises and dodging phone calls is unacceptable for a reputable business!

Desired Outcome

I would like for the difference of refund to occur which quoted price of 1100 would be 400 or the actual invoice of what the price for materials and everything was. IT could be more than that but I do not know because I NEVER received anything. If it was in fact sent in the mail where is the copy of the check because it was never received. He should do a stop payment and send what he said he would do along with the invoice. I had to pay more on my water bill all because lack of documentation.

I referred her to an individual to help with a plumbing issue she had because I was sick. He made the repairs but asked for me to supervise the repairs to ensure they where properly made. She made arrangements with John P they agreed on a price after repairs where made she paid him. After talking with her he charged her more than quoted so I explained that I didn't do business that way and that I would make it right. I made $0 from the job and as the Corona Virus has closed business down I took time off to spend with my kids. The repairs that where made where we'll worth what she paid for them as the repairs where made in a timely manner. I tried to make it right by mailing her a check for the difference of $300 and she said she didn't receive it so I canceled the check. After back and forth communication I'm not refunding anything for repairs for a job I didn't get paid for. She even stated that he gave the quote and she paid him. I'm at the point that if this is how things are done you can cancel my subscription because it wasn't my company that was paid for the repairs it was a friend of mine that collected the money not myself or Southaven Plumbing
