Southern Star Roofing

I am pleased to announce after two months with some heavy rain fall, no rain gutter overflow and the deck of the gazebo is always dry. We have spread out the furniture and can leave it in place.
Description of work:
I called ten companies and talked with someone, left voice mail messages, or left messages on their website inquiry page. I told each company I need some to be creative to address our gutter problem. The previous owner had a gazebo placed against the corner of the house and attached two-car garage and left the standard size gutters in place. The roof line of the gazebo hung over the roof line of the house and garage, so there were two roofs funneling water in to the gutter. Added to that was the valley between the house and garage roofs. We had a constant problem of gutter overflow after heavy rains. We had to cluster most of the deck furniture on one side of the deck when not in use. Only two came out, and only Southern Star Roofing and Construction said they were up for the challenge. They kept in constant contact with us through the project. Five-inch downspouts were installed. Six-inch gutters were run the length of the side of the house and garage. The gutter guard attachments ended as it came under the gazebo roof. A long run of heavy metal wire mesh net was attached to the facia of the gazebo and the other side a "button" was attached under roof shingles. Lastly, two long runs of stainless steel flashing was inserted against the side of the gutter against the gazebo facia to prevent any overflow or splashing from rain. The high cost was due to the length of stainless steel flashing used and the labor involved to install the flashing and wire mesh leave/debris over the gutters running inside the gazebo

Very honest!! Some organizational kinks to work through as far as scheduling goes, but everyone is very accommodating and their estimates are spot on!

My neighbor referred me to Southern Star and I met with the owner Brandon when he inspected my roof. He was honest and forthright from the get go, answering every question I had and never pressuring me. They fixed my roof in a day & a half and did an outstanding job. I would recommend this company over any other in the *** area. I also want to thank the office staff for being so warm and understanding through the whole roof replacement process.

I wanted to take the time to write a review for the above and beyond service provided to me by Southern Star Roofing & Construction. Their price was very reasonable given the high quality, attention to detail and great work. I had a small hole in my roof due to some storm damage and I called and spoke to Brandon about the details of the repair. I was nervous that he might not be able to match the style and color of the shingles on my roof. Brandon provided me a sample that was an exact match and we set up a time for the repairs to be made. Brandon called me the night before the start date and let me know his guy would be at my home in the AM. Phil was on time, he was courteous, and he took the time to explain what work would need to be done and how the task would be accomplished. Phil was laid back and answered all of my questions. When the job was completed he cleaned up all of the scraps and nails, leaving my home and yard better than he found it (I was not even home Phil did this on his own). The roof looks amazing and no one will ever be able to see where the damage had been. Even after the job was completed, Brandon stayed in touch. He called me to follow up making sure I was happy with the service and results of Southern Star Roofing & Construction.
