3 years ago Joe Cirgenti (586)202-7597 restored our inground gunite pool. which included a warranty. When we opened the pool the following season (2018) he was notified of many issues within the warranty period including cracked coping as staining around mosaics. either issue was addressed in 2018, in 2019 joe was made aware of the same situations becoming worse after opening pool in 2019. Joe waited all season until pool was closed to do repairs. He came, pulled the cover back, did repairs on most, but not all coping tiles. He let debris settle on the bottom (sticking to the finish of my pool and smearing new caulking with cover. When opening pool in 2020 same issues remain, cracked coping tile, stained/damaged mosaics (due to improper installation, per manufacturer) and is now compounded by his damage to pool finish and caulking including safety hazards (tripping). Joe has not responded to any calls or texts for 3 weeks now.

Joe, Sparkle Pools, resurfaced our pool. When he was done, the pool did not look good. It had a film on the surface that looked terrible. Joe said that it would wear off in time. We waited until the next season and it had not faded at all. After a lengthy process of trying to get him to fix the pool, he finally acid washed the surface. There was no improvement. In fact, it looked worse, streaky dark patches all over the surface. We waited another season to see if it the streaks would fade. They did not. I hired another pool company that also tried to fix the surface. Their efforts made little improvement. In June I began reaching out to Joe because it was clear that the product that he used to resurface the pool was faulty. After 2 months of trying to get him to respond to me, he finally showed up to look at the pool. He promised that he would reach out to the company that he uses for the pool surface product and that he would respond to me within days. He did get back to me as he promised and is no longer responding to my phone calls or texts. He has left me no choice but to search alternative methods to get him to honor his word and warranty. He has a 5 year warranty and I am in the 4th year.
