Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System Reviews (28)

3 times in hospital in 4 weeks
We were in the old part of the hospital first trip and I wasn’t impressed. Rooms were small and seemed dirty. This weekend after an er visit, our loved ones cardiologist met us. Dr. Brian Brown, what a great person. I can’t say enough good things about the pavilion 6th floor. Amy Brown was the most humble, professional, loving and caring nurse we’ve ever met. Ask Amy sometime why she became a nurse later in life? It’s a sweet story that brings tears to you eyes. We just loved her! Misty her assistant that is in school to become a nurse was great too! Thank you God for giving our Dad such a good group of professionals that explained every move they made!

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System has reviewed this account and adjusted a portion of Mr. [redacted]'s 10/8/2015 balance that no longer qualifies to rebill due to the age; and we are able to rebill the portion that insurance processed incorrectly. Mr. [redacted] has $121 from his...

10/8/2015 date of service pending insurance.   He will have a credit/refund of $177.46.   We have also corrected and rebilled his 11/1/2016 visit; this is no longer sitting in the patient liability bucket. It is considered pending insurance at this time. Thank you for your patience as we looked into this matter.

We regret the inconvenience that *** *** has experienced and apologize that this was not resolved sooner. Adjustments were made to the account July 3 and the account balance is now $0.
Thank you,
Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System

I do not remember receiving any phone calls from SRMC for this bill. I request an itemized bill for the charges they say I owe. I had insurance at the time, and want to be sure of what they are charging me for. I also need the itemized bill to reflect the cpt or icd9 codes that were submitted to my insurance company. I need this itemized bill as soon as possible. Has SRHS sold my account to [redacted] If not, there is no valid reason that they cannot recall this account. I would think they would want to work with someone who is trying to pay what is owed, once charges are verified. Or are they simply in the business of turning accounts in to the credit bureau? This hospital is not known for practicing good customer service anyway. Please send the Itemized bill. I would like to see every pill, bandaid, etc that I am being charged for, and that is impacting my credit report. Thank you.

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System (SRHS) has reviewed this patient’s account.

The patient’s spouse contacted SRHS February 4 to make a payment, and stated that a copy of the Payment Plan Agreement (PPA) was mailed February 3. On February 24, SRHS contacted the patient to advise her...

that SRHS had not received the signed PPA. Another copy was mailed to the patient and the patient was asked to call if she had not received the agreement within a week. The SRHS account representative explained that without the signed agreement, the account would go into collections. To date, SRHS has not received a signed PPA.

The patient may call [redacted] at [redacted] to request another copy of the agreement. The agreement may be mailed back in with the return envelope provided, or the patient may drop the agreement off at the following address:               [redacted]              [redacted]               Spartanburg, SC  29303

The patient may also email the agreement to [redacted]

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System (SRHS) has reviewed this patient's account. The necessary steps were taken to request authorization for this procedure, and SRHS was told by the insurance company that no authorization was needed. Regardless, the account has been...

adjusted to a zero balance as a courtesy, as she was not made aware that the procedure would be paid as an out-of-network facility.

1.22.15   Physicians Billing Service [redacted] Spartanburg, S.C. 29304   Reference # 10401072 To whom it may concern: I am writing in response to your letter received on 1.20.15 regarding a billing issue on an account that is more than 365 days old. At the time of service the patient...

provided the incorrect insurance to be filed, they denied as past timely filing. The patient received several bills as well as letters to update the insurance to be billed. This was not done in a timely manner and resulted in account going to collections; most insurance companies have a filing limit of 365 days.  The correct insurance was not entered until Oct 2014 due to some miscommunication. As a result of we are adjusting the balance for this charge on the patients account.   Sincerely   [redacted] Physicians Billing Service
