This was way back in September **, 2014. This company is horrible with customer service! I have sent around 20 or more e-mails inquiring on this & wondering when this subscription to start & have only heard back once about a month ago giving me some lame excuse. I have e-mailed continuously since then (I have them if you need them) and they simply don't respond & I'm fed up to the point of not wanting the magazine anymore. I want a refund!!Desired Settlement: A refund of $22.49 back on my credit card.

Review: In July I purchased a subscription to Shop Smart magazine through speedymags.com. My order was confirmed and my credit card was charged. The subscription was for a renewal to begin with the December 2014 issue of the magazine. In September after I noticed that my subscription had not been updated, I contacted speedymags.com to check on my subscription noting that I had already paid my credit card bill with the fee for the subscription renewal. I have followed up numerous times and have been told that the magazine fullfillment companies that they use have told them that I am on some sort of "do not call or mail" list which doesn't make sense since I already receive the magazine. They did mention that they have had problems with subscriptions to this particular magazine with other customers. I have repeatedly followed up by e- mail but this issue still hasn't been resolved.Desired Settlement: I would like my subscription to be renewed since I have already paid for the subscription.

Consumer

Response:

The business refunded my payment but only after I had followed up with them for weeks. I do want it noted that this company's customer service is abysmal and unsatisfactory. I doubt they would have refunded my payment if I had not contacted them.

Sincerely,

Review: On May *, 2014 I placed an order for a 3 year subscription to [redacted]. On June *, 2014 that subscription started. On Sep **, 2014 I checked the status of that order on the [redacted] website. According to the website I only had a subscription for 2 years. I emailed Speedmags.com about this. Their response was “I see that your subscription only went through as two-year for some reason. We have resent them an additional year and it should be reflected in a few weeks. It may take a couple of issues to reflect on the label as they print labels in advance though. The subscription will last the full 3 years, not to worry. Sorry for the inconvenience.” On Oct **, 2014 I again checked the [redacted] website. It still said that I only had a subscription for 2 years. That same day I again emailed Speedmags.com about this. This time their response was ” The publisher should have it reflected in the next week or two, but the label takes a few more issues to update as they print them in advance. Sorry for the confusion.” Today I checked the [redacted] website and it is still only showing a 2 year subscription. I also called [redacted] to verify this. They verified that Speedmags.com has only submitted a 2 year subscription. It is now more than 6 months since I placed my original order and the Speedymags.com still hasn’t completed the order.Desired Settlement: Complete the order I paid for almost 7 months ago.

Review: I purchased a 2-year subscription to Astronomy Magazine ([redacted]) through an offer made by Speedy Mags. My [redacted] account was charged $27.45 for this subscription on June [redacted]. I only received a one-year subscription. I have contacted both [redacted] and Speedy Mags repeatedly over the past two-months. [redacted] sent me the following reply:

"Thank you for contacting us regarding your subscription to Astronomy. Speedy Mags is not an authorized magazine agency of [redacted]. They must work through an alternate agent who then submits the orders to us.

We will update your expiration date when an additional payment/order is received. As of today, no additional request has reached us."

To date, Speedy Mags has not made the correction on this subscription.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund of $13.72 (half of the 2-year subscription charge).

Consumer

Response:

I just checked my account with Astronomy Magazine ([redacted] pub.) and found that my subscription has been corrected to reflect the full two years that I originally purchased through Speedy Mags. I'm happy that Speedy Mags made things right.

Thank you Revdex.com for your help in resolving this problem.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: I ordered a $35.00 Stamp magazine last year for my 85 year old father that lives out of state. I just received a renewal from Speedy Mags, but when I talked to my father he said he never received the magazine.

He also said he no longer wanted that magazine because he has access to it and would rather have a different one.

I contacted customer support and asked for either a refund or credit to another magazine and they said it went to him in digital form and "no refunds, we will just restart the stamp magazine subscription."

I told them that is not what I want but my emails are ignored.Desired Settlement: At this point I would like a refund of the $35.00 and will do business elsewhere.

Business

Response:

We actually did offer her a replacement magazine even though her original subscription delivered in digital format for the full length of the subscription. We gave a list of replacement titles, but she wanted something that was not on that list (which contains hundreds of popular magazines). We cant just give her a $75 magazine subscription as a replacement for a $35 order. If she would like one of the replacement magazines we offered, she may email us at [redacted]. Thanks!

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

First off, the reply from the business refers to me as a "her" as anyone can see there is a Mr. in front of my name. Next they state that they sent me a list of magazines to choose from, they did not. Finally, they state that the magazine I requested "Classic car round up" is $75, not true. It is $34.99, the same price as the one I never received. See at this link: [redacted]Classic Car Round-upSale Price: : $34.99Cover Price : $56.00Savings : 37%Issues : 12Availability : In StockThey have ignored my requests until I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com. Business

Response:

I have a copy of the email we sent to this customer. Literally none of what he said was accurate. Point by point each statement was erroneous. We never referred to him as a her. We never listed the price of classic car roundup, and we certainly did offer a list of replacement magazines via email, so this is truly bizarre. I am copy and pasting the email we sent to him below: "Hi [redacted], Classic Car Roundup cant be sent on bonus. Please select another

title from our package creator. You can view the many of choices on the

four lists underneath the 4 magazine images at the following link:[redacted]Please email us the name of one magazine you would like and we

will send it out right away. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience." This email seems pretty straight forward and you may send it to him and we will do the same and re-send it to him. Im really not sure why he's having so much trouble with the offer. Sorry for all the confusion. Sincerely, -The Support Team[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The Business has counterdicted itself in each of the statements below. As you can see in the past two statements from them.I am to the point that I don't want to deal with them any longer. It's not worth my time. They have worn me down, they win. It's obvious by the other reviews found on the internet that this is not a legitimate business. I just wish I would have read the reviews before doing business with them.MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS:[redacted]

Sincerely,

Review: I ordered a magazine from them on 12/**/14. We still have not received anything. I have contacted this company via email three times and all I get are excuses why I have not received the magazine. They have charged my credit card but have not sent me a magazine. I have emailed them again today asking for either the magazine or a full refund. This company has very poor customer service. I just want people to be aware that this is not a company they want to do business with.Desired Settlement: I just want either the subscription to start or I want a full refund of my money.

Review: I placed an order for a yearly subscription to Psychology Today magazine. The order was originally placed 11/**/13. Their website claims it sometimes takes anywhere from 6-8 weeks to start the first issue. I started receiving one other magazine and figured Psychology Today would begin shortly. It was supposed to begin February 2014. It never did. I gave it more time but it never arrived. I contacted Speedymags to alert them of the issue since they had already charged my credit card. They responded that my address was incorrect and I should be getting my copies soon. It's now August and I have never received any issues AND they told me they will not refund my money nor will they will not resend previous issues. The y are unwilling to do anything to solve this matter for me. They have my money and that's all they care about. I have included all the emails I sent to them.

STARTED MARCH/APRIL 2014 EXPIRE MARCH/APRIL 2015. PUBLISHER STATED WILL NOT EXTEND OR RESEND SINCE NO PROBLEMS/RETURNS ON THEIR END AND SINCE AN EXTENSION HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE. ACCT # [redacted].

They have the wrong address. The correct address is: [redacted] That's odd because the other magazine, XXL, is coming to the correct

address.
