Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I disagree with their responseI believe that the tech dropped something on my center console, which caused the chip/dent to itThere were grease marks all over the center console, stereo and door panel showing that they in fact were working in that areaI never would ask that this be fixed if they had not done itThe response states that they take pride in providing excellent customer service, I had a terrible experience with them from the first time that I called due to my check engine light coming onJust like with any job there are consequences for damaging a costumers property, regardless if it is not an issue to fix itIt is a small mark and I am sure that the tech thought I would not see itI find it hard to believe that they are so honest when they left my truck as dirty with grease as they did, they told me that is not acceptable and he clearly had no problem with thatI want the piece on my center console that was damaged to be replaced Regards, [redacted] ***

***, Monday 11/13/I sent a list of all parts used to repair the vehicleI'm not sure where the diminished value estimate came fromIts obviously speculative at best, however I did enclose an offer to trade them out of their vehicle with a fair market trade value without a deduction for "diminished value".Thanks for your help, Jeff

Dear [redacted]Mr. [redacted] did buy a 2007 Ram truck with 201,000 miles on it at Cowboy Dodge. He bought it (AS IS) and signed paperwork acknowledging that fact. According to our paper work he bought it on 8-24-16 not 9-15-16 as he states. We are not sure how many miles he has put on his truck as he...

has never hadit in our Service Department and also not sure his diagnoses is even correct.I understand his concern as to the condition of his truck however at over 201,000 miles all the parts are very warn and failure can happen at anytime. Cowboy Dodge is not responsible for failures as the truck was running fine at time of purchaseand Mr. [redacted] Bought it in (AS IS) condition.Thank for your timeDarwinService Manager Cowboy Dodge.

Cowboy Dodge did no repairs on the inside of the truck the only time any individual would be in the truck is on the test drive prior to and after the work was done to verify the issue. All vehicles that come in for any kind of service are covered with plastic, the driver seat and a floor...

mat is put in place to protect the floor. Upon the customer getting their vehicle back a complaint of the cleanliness came about in which Richard O[redacted] the Assistant Service Manager stated to the customer to bring it back to have cleaned and the claimed damage can be looked at, the customer said they would never bring it back again but called Darwin T[redacted] the Service Manager. He also stated that he would like them to bring it back so we can clean it. The customer said she cleaned it already and then stated there was damage to her console that we caused and wanted repaired. When she brought it back for Darwin to look at he was showed many other scratches that were already there along with the one she claimed Cowboy Dodge did and she acknowledged the previous damage prior to bringing it to Cowboy Dodge. Researching the service history of her vehicle it was found that Cowboy Dodge did no work on the vehicle's console at any time and that the dealership where it was purchased from "[redacted] Dodge" in [redacted] Colorado had in fact done repairs to the console. Supporting documentation is attached. Chrysler customer care contacted Cowboy Dodge in reference to the same complaint, after talking with Darwin T[redacted] service manager Chrysler acknowledged the complaint and appeared to agree that Cowboy Dodge is not liable for the complaint.

Based on the facts they could not warranty the transmission. Service Manager at Cowboy Dodge offered 3 free maintenance oil changes to Mrs. [redacted] in an attempt to get her maintenance business, she agreed. Repairs were completed and Mrs. [redacted] picked up her car on November 12th along with a copy of the receipt showing 3 free maintenance oil changes.SincerelyDarwin T[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:  We don't plan on purchasing a vehicle from this dealership again.  We still want the records of what body work was done to the "brand new" vehicle we purchased and the service department refuses to even acknowledge they exist AFTER I already spoke to someone who said they did.

Dear [redacted],I understand the frustration when some repairs are not covered under a warranty contract. However, there are limitations on all warranty contracts. We have not seen [redacted] truck in our shop since Dec. 2014. At that time we diagnosed a rear wheel speed sensor and changed the oil...

and filter. All other work has been done at [redacted] and possibly other shops. Cowboy Dodge does not know what has been done or what needs done to the truck at this time. If [redacted] would like to get out of her warranty contract she can. It will be prorated as it is over 2 yrs into its time period. [redacted] can talk to our General Manager Matt L[redacted] to make arraignments. She can call [redacted] and ask for Matt. Sincerely,Darwin Service ManagerCowboy Dodge.

In reference to complaint, on the attachment provided the customers complaint was a malfunction light on. The connection the technician plugs into is under the dashboard on the drivers side of the truck which is called the OBD outlet. Once plugged in the diagnoses process begins you can also flash the vehicle as well for any updates it may need. The turbo actuator malfunctioned so it was replaced and the coolant was topped off and then it took an updated flash for the power train control module. Then the recall R46 (front suspension track bar frame bracket) inspected and the reinforcement track bar frame brackets were installed. The tech test drove the truck after to verify the problem was resolved. Checked out ok. There was no charge to the customer the manufactures warranty applied. Cowboy Dodge prides itself of great customer service and will go the extra mile to take care of our customers if the Technician or Service Manager thought we caused the damage they would advise of such and I would gladly take care of it for the customer. The employees have no reason to lie about any damage they cause, they know we correct anything we cause and make it right. Our garage insurance is very good and would cover any very expensive claim if need however, in this matter Cowboy Dodge does not claim any liability for the damages accused of.

I have reviewed the response made by the business, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
That is only if cowboy dodge follows through with what they have said!
