Sports and Imports

This business is not responding to attempted contacts concerning their obtaining of title, tag, and the paying of taxes related to purchased vehicle. On 03/12/18 I purchased a 2007 Chrysler 300C from this business. I paid for the car, title, tags, and taxes, all with one check. The sales rep. was Mr.. I received a drive out tag that expired on 04/12/18. I was told that they would take care of acquiring the title, tag, and pay the taxes then contact me on their disposition. When I did not hear from them I attempted to contact them via phone but their line was always busy. It appeared to me that their phone had been disconnected. I went to the car lot and found another salesman and he told me that Mr. was no longer working with the business. This salesman told me that he would take care of the problem and get back to me. As of this date I have not received any contact from them. I did make contact with another person who is in the same situation as I am with this business. He told me he had made contact with a lady that he said was the owner of Sports and Imports and was told by her that the salesmen at the business had been pocketing money paid for the cars at the business. She said she would take care of things. I have attempted to contact this "owner" numerous times but have not received return calls. I understand that the other customer I talked to has attempted to make a few appointments with this "owner" but has been stood up at least twice. I am concerned that this owner and/or salesmen are just delaying us so they can remove the remaining cars from the lot and then disappear.

RE: 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, 4 Door Black:
During the week of July 12, 2017, my daughter and I went to Sports and Imports, LLC to look at some vehicles. Having observed the aforementioned vehicle we requested a printout of the vehicle in question. Having drove the vehicle we decided to purchase it. We met with the Office Manager and Owner/Operator. Discussing the possibility of a purchase, Mr. and Mr. assured us that the vehicle is road ready, but needed a little work on its air conditioner which would take a few days at the *** Service Center. Telephonically being advised that the vehicle was ready on July 12, 2017, a down payment of $5,000.00 was made to Sports and Imports, LLC.
On July 27, 2017, a final payment of $13,800.00 was paid to Sports and Imports, LLC. Having obtained the vehicle from Mr., we were advised that "If the engine light comes on, give me a call". For five (5) days Mr. and Mr. were unavailable to receive call when engine light came on. On August 3, 2017, the check engine light still on since July 27, 2017 at which time the vehicle was taken to *** (see Invoice ) vehicle needed a converter. Finally being able to contact Mr. Cook of the situation, he declined repair and had the vehicle picked up and returned to Sports and Imports, LLC. To date August 25, 2017, the vehicle is still in the possession of Sports and Imports, LLC.
