Stadium Auto sincerely apologies for any inconvenience Miss [redacted] feels she has experienced with the purchase of her 2007 Dodge Nitro. Miss [redacted] purchased her vehicle on 4/22/17. During the process of finalizing her loan the lien holder discovered that Miss [redacted]’s income did not match the...

credit application she filled out and this caused the loan to be denied because she no longer qualified for the vehicle. Stadium Auto was able to obtain another approval for Miss [redacted] for a lower amount then the original approval. Stadium Auto lowered the price of the Dodge Nitro below cost in order for Miss [redacted] to keep her vehicle and in hopes to gain a happy customer. When Miss [redacted] signed the new contract on 5/4/17 she was not able to purchase the extended warranty because she did not qualify to add the additional cost of the warranty to her loan. Miss [redacted] also signed a disclosure at this time stating that the vehicle was sold as is with no warranty. The agreement also stated that she will pay for all costs of any repairs needed and the dealer assumes no responsibility for any repairs. Unfortunately about 5 months after Miss [redacted] purchased the Dodge Nitro she stated that the transmission went out. Since the vehicle is 11 years old it is no longer covered under the factory warranty and Miss [redacted] is responsible for the cost of repair. Instead of repairing the vehicle Miss [redacted] came to Stadium Auto to trade it in. In order to qualify for a new loan the lender is requesting a down payment to be made. This is a requirement of the lender and not Stadium Auto. Stadium Auto would like to help Miss [redacted] get another vehicle, however the minimum requirements of the lender have to be met in order to do so.

We sincerely apologize for any confusion we may have caused Mr. [redacted].  We go thru a process to purchase vehicles from individuals to ensure accuracy and prompt payments.  Unfortunately his vehicle did not go thru this process. After reviewing the appraisal amount and purchase price...

stated we were unable to complete the purchase. If Mr. [redacted] would like for us to have his vehicle appraised correctly we would be happy to do so.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11536239, and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute.
Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.simply because [redacted] the finance guy has been giving [redacted], my wife the run around for 1 1/2 weeks. We want to move on, they can keep the $7k because clearly they need it more than we do, am I happy with this, absolutely not, will I ever refer this dealership to anyone, absolutely not, will I talk highly of them, absolutely not.... But these are things as a consumer, these are my rights. We were WRONGLY and KNOWINGLY taken advantage of, and it's sad that this dealership has to go so low to do such a thing.regardless, my wife and I are ready to move on and we need this note to be placed with NAL asap. place the not with them, and we're done.

Ms. [redacted] purchased a 2011 Toyota Corolla on 5/26/2017. This is the only vehicle Ms. [redacted] signed a contract for and she did test drive the vehicle prior to purchasing. Stadium Auto agreed to repair the front bumper as well as perform 3 oil changes as part of the sale.  Ms. [redacted]...

dropped off her Corolla for repair on 5/30/17 and was provided a loaner vehicle as promised. The repair was completed on 6/5/17 and Ms. [redacted] picked the Corolla up on 6/7/17.  The bumper repair was not done at Stadium Auto. It was completed at a 3rd party body shop which Ms. [redacted] was informed of. Stadium Auto also provided her a copy of the invoice showing the repair had been done. The Corolla did not need to be jumped at the time of pick up as she stated. On 6/23/17 Ms. [redacted] brought the Corolla back to Stadium Auto to have the oil checked because she felt it was low. A service technician looked at the vehicle and confirmed that the oil level was good and it was not time for an oil change yet. Ms. [redacted] had no other concerns at that time.  On 7/14/17 Ms. [redacted] came to Stadium Auto to have a oil change done. She mentioned at this time that she was going out of town and wanted to make sure the oil was good. She did not express any other concerns about the vehicle at that time.  On 7/21/17 Ms. [redacted] brought the Corolla back stating that the bumper fell off while she was driving back into town and said that it was never secured properly after the original repair. Stadium Auto reminded her that she had brought the Corolla back to us twice since the original repair and the bumper was secured properly and if she felt that is was not then she should of said something either of the times she was here. Ms. [redacted] said that she forgot to mention it. Stadium Auto sent Ms. [redacted] to have the bumper examined at the 3rd party body shop that did the repair. The owner of the body shop said that it appeared the Corolla ran over something which caused the new damage. He confirmed that the repair was done correctly the first time. The second week of August Ms. [redacted] came into Stadium Auto and stated that her boyfriend jump started the Corolla and the battery caught on fire. She demanded that we fix the Corolla. The battery caught on fire due to being jumped backwards and Stadium Auto is not liable for this. Stadium Auto declined the repair at this time. Ms. [redacted] spoke with the GM of Stadium Auto and he agreed to tow her Corolla to Stadium Auto and replace the battery but that would be the last repair we would do to her vehicle because she damages the vehicle and expects Stadium Auto to repair it. After the Corolla was towed to Stadium Auto on 8/18/17 Ms. [redacted]’s male friend called Stadium Auto stating that additional repairs needed to be done and when Stadium Auto declined and explained that the damage done to the vehicle after the time of sale was their responsibility to take care of he became angry and threatened physical violence against a Stadium Auto employee. At that point Stadium Auto let Ms. [redacted] know that we would replace the battery as told but would then take her vehicle to the nearest Toyota dealership and she could decide any further repairs she wanted to be done with them at their cost. About a week later Ms. [redacted] had the Corolla towed to Stadium Auto and she said that she was going to let the vehicle be repossessed.

I am rejecting this response because: The after math of what happened AFTER the vehicle was purchased is NOT what this complaint is about. This complaint is about the false advertising of the vehicle purchase price. Publicly advertising the vehicle for one price, and then charging me 6,000 dollars more than the vehicle was publicly advertised as. The balance due on the vehicle AFTER the contract was signed is irrelevant to this complaint. I am also in the process of filing bankruptcy and the debt the merchant is referring to is expected to be discharged. Please review the complaint in full and then respond and the response does not pertain to the complaint. I may also want to add to my complaint that when this business repossessed the vehicle, they came to my home very disrespectfully and disturbed the peace, which is a violation of the repossession laws/code. They kicked my door several times leaving permanent foot prints, as well as using vulgar language and tone when speaking to my minor children, in addition to becoming physically violent with my spouse as he tried to remove his diabetic supplies from the vehicle during the repossession. He is a type 1 insulin dependent diabetic and the men who came to repossess the vehicle denied him the right to get his life sustaining medical supplies. They broke the law when they sold the vehicle, they broke the law when they reposed the vehicle and they do owe me damages.

Yes, given the opportunity to state the correct mileage they still failed to do so.  I figured my Texas colleague mistook a 8 for a 3 in his quick glance at the odometer.  At no time did Stadium Motors disclose the proper mileage.  Not on their website, not in discussion with my salesperson, not on the purchase agreement, and not on the title paperwork.  Mr. [redacted] was asked to confirm the mileage on October 16 in an email and replied "I will check right now".   Even with prompting they fail to disclose the mileage.

I am rejecting this response because it should never take 4 months to get a license plate and registration.  I was lied to repeatedly if and when I could ever get a hold of someone or if they called me back like they promised repeatedly.  This company has no right to ignore a customer and no right to make me go through everything I had to do to get a response.  It wasn't until we threatened to call DPS and they risked being fined that we finally got a response.

Stadium Auto's Customer Relations Manager, [redacted], spoke to [redacted] and apologized for the experience he had after the purchase of his Silverado. [redacted] informed [redacted] that he has received his license plates and already paid for the instillation of the radio. [redacted] told [redacted] that...

Stadium Auto would like to make the situation right and reimburse him the instillation cost. [redacted] seemed pleased with the effort to correct the situation and said he will email [redacted] the instillation invoice so that the reimbursement can be issued to him.

As I have discussed with Mr. [redacted], the check engine light came on the same day I bought the truck and have text messages between myself and the salesman proving that fact.  Mr. [redacted] says that the emission system was on the truck when I bought it.  On a quick, initial inspection of the vehicle, it looks like everything is like it should be.  I had explained to Mr. [redacted] in emails that the catalytic converter and particulate filter were on the truck but had been gutted.  His response was "To be honest, when I was first told of this issue was the system was missing completely. This is the first I have heard that the system was gutted. This presents a different scenario. We called the dodge store that you originally took the vehicle to and got a copy of the w/o and none of this was mentioned." None of this was mentioned on the work orders at the Dodge store because they never crawled under the truck. I also got the service manager to write an email explaining why it wasn't mentioned and why they never inspected underneath the truck. That email was sent to Mr. [redacted].  Only after many times of the check engine light coming on and taking to a diesel mechanic to do a manual regen was the problem diagnosed.  Once the truck would not allow a manual regen of the emissions system, the mecnanic crawled under the truck for a closer inspection and then determined that the emissions system was in fact "on" the truck but he said it had been gutted and then welded back together. I am even willing to get a second professionals opinion on the status of the emissions system to make sure it is indeed gutted like I was told. I can assure you that I have done nothing to alter the emissions system on the truck and I have several people willing to attest to that fact.

[redacted] purchased a vehicle from Stadium Auto and agreed to the purchase price. After making two payments [redacted] stopped making her payments. Since Stadium Auto was the lien holder we had to reposes the vehicle and discovered at that time that she had totaled it. Ms. [redacted] also did not have...

insurance on the vehicle so Stadium Auto is unable to make a claim on the vehicle. Stadium Auto does not owe Ms. [redacted] anything. Ms. [redacted] does owe Stadium Auto the remaining balance on her contract.

To Whom it may concern,
[redacted] was contacted by myself ([redacted])and our General Manager on reimbursement of proof of damages he sent to us. We sincerely apologize on the efforts gone wrong that took place and we are waiting on the estimate from Mr. [redacted] so that we can overnight a...

check. As far as how it all took place , every GM dealership gave us reason to the vibration complaint that did not resolve the issue so not only was the car being transported to several different places for second opinions it was being shipped between states to get from Mr. [redacted] to here and back. We are doing our best to accommodate him at the moment and still we are sincerely apologetic for the situation as a whole.
         Best Regards,

On September 30th 2014 Mr. [redacted] purchased a 2011 Audi A6 from Stadium Auto.Stadium Auto exerted every effort to finalize Mr. [redacted]’ loan with the lenderbut unfortunately after attempting to obtain valid proof of income for severalweeks Mr. [redacted] was unable to provide it therefor the loan fell...

through. Thevehicle was damaged to the point of not being drivable while still in Mr.[redacted]’ possession. It was in the best interest of Stadium Auto and to avoidthe risk of the vehicle obtaining more damage to have it picked up directlyfrom the repair shop it was towed to after the damage occurred. Once the Audiarrived back at Stadium Auto it was inspected and none of the belongings                                   ... [redacted] stated should be in the vehicle were there. We checked with the repossessioncompany who also stated that the belongings were not in the vehicle when theypicked it up. It is possible that the belongings were removed before the repossessioncompany picked up the Audi. The Audi changed hands multiple times before itreached Stadium Auto. As Mr. [redacted] stated himself,  he had the vehicle towed after the damage occurredto a repair shop meaning both companies had the Audi in their possession beforethe repossession company and before Stadium Auto received our vehicle back.  If the belongings had been in the Audi whenStadium Auto received it we would of gladly returned them to Mr. [redacted] but unfortunatelythey were not. The down payment of $1,300 was used towards the cost of repossession, vehicle repair and depreciation due to the mileage added to the vehicle duringthe several weeks Mr. [redacted] had it. The total cost to prepare the Audi to besold again was more than $1,300 but Stadium Auto chose not ask Mr. [redacted] forthe additional amount. Stadium Auto sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience Mr.[redacted] went through during this transaction and for not being able to gain hisbusiness at that time.

Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] purchased a 2015 Ford Mustang from Stadium Auto on 6/22/16. They selected, test drove and negotiated figures ultimately signing all the applicable documents. We want the [redacted]'s to be satisfied with their purchase. I apologize for any confusion on the paperwork and terms they...

agreed on. I will have our Finance Director contact them immediately and invite them back in to go over all of their paperwork. We want to ensure everything is explained to their satisfaction. We want to make sure they are satisfied with their purchase and their purchase experience.

Ms. [redacted] did purchase her vehicle from Stadium Auto. She was shown the vehicle, test drove and negotiated figures prior to purchasing. She was provided a form from Stadium Auto to complete the alignment and detail the vehicle. We sell approximately 200 pre-owned vehicles per month. Occasionally...

there may be an issue that arises with them. They are not new. Our typical customer comes in to have their service work completed. We went the extra step and picked up the vehicle from her and delivered it back when the work was completed. Most people would consider that great customer service. We are extremely sorry we could not meet her expectations. Stadium Auto has been serving the surrounding communities for over 20+ years. We have sold and serviced thousands of satisfied customers. We continue to strive and provide every customer with great "Superior Customer Service".

To whom it may concern , I myself handled this situation and did everything I could do to fix this situation , the customer also received their plates and I was more than happy to hand deliver them . I sincerely apologize for the back and forth the customer had to endure. Thank you

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.Payoff was sent and lien has been removed along with negative credit inquiries. I am satisfied with this matter now.

after numerous attempts to resolve the issue with Stadium auto. I finally agreed to take it to court to rectify this challenge. Is stadium auto to refund my credit cards, all 3 in...

a timely and professional manner as of today none of the credit cards have been refunded. I would like nothing better than to get my money refunded to my account obviously this is a huge challenge that the company doesn't want to .I have went over and beyond the call of duty to work wit by management and other top officials within this organization my calls have been on return by management and other top officials.therefore they leave me no other alternative but to exercise my rights in small claims court. thank you Revdex.com for your hard work and effort to resolve this challenge in a professional and timely manner. I look forward to results in an expedited manner.

As we have discussed with Mr. [redacted] several times, the 2012 Ram 3500 he purchased from us had a full emissions system on it when the vehicle was sold. The truck went through a multi-point inspection and a state inspection prior to us selling Mr.[redacted] the truck. The truck was also inspected by the...

auction we purchased it from and they noted that the emission system was in place.  I cannot attest to what happened to the vehicle after it left Stadium Auto, but I can assure you the vehicle had a complete emission control system in place when wepurchased it and when we sold it.  Our mechanics, the auction and the third party state inspection facility all verified it.
