I was sucked into their claim that I could try Stamps.com for free and get free stamps They wanted my credit card, sent me a packet of unusable stuff which I recycledThere were no free stamps Suddenly there is a $fee from them on my card! And when I tried to quit Stamps they still are demanding even more money from me They are a scam and should not pretend they are the USPS with their logos and wording I can't believe Revdex.com accredits themYou are not doing your homework

I too didn't realize I was signing up for a $monthly fee until months laterI was unable to cancel online or delete my credit card informationOnce my credit card expired and they could no longer charge my card, I started to get EmailsI was on vacation at the time and couldn't take care of it until I got home, by that time, I got a late feeWhen I called to cancel my account, they did wave the next months $fee, but was still charged the late fee and that months feeI let the representative know that I was cancelling because I NEVER USED the account and she still tried to sell me on a lesser charge of $a month and asked me how I was going to mail things now, which I replied "Go to the Post Office"They Emailed me a final bill and I wasn't going to give them my credit card again, so when they Emailed me a final bill, I asked them where I could mail the paymentI couldn't find an address on their website and they didn't respond to my requestmonths later I get a 2nd notice in the mail, when I never received a 1st notice in the mailBeware when a company asks for a credit card when you don't think you are buying anything, you may be agreeing to something you don't realizeDo get scammed out of your hard earned money

I had been with them for years then I called to Cancel I did not write the cancellation number down like I should haveSo by the 3rd month I see that I am still being charge I called and spoke with the supervisor and in so many words called me a liarand hung up on me the 4th month still trying to charge me they sent me a statement I sent the statement back asking to please cancel the account I have they saved to my computer and the 5th month same thing now they tried to run my card again for $ I am almost ready to find a lawyer this is rediculous Will not ever use them again and I will put blogs and posts all over the internet regaereding this If anyone knows a good lawyer please let me know

I signed up on a Sunday, fully aware of the monthly feeI wanted a postage scale, the one that was supposedly "free" was inadequate for my needYou cannot see the scales until you have signed up!! I clicked on the next larger one, it was almost $I would NOT pat that when I could get one cheaperSo, I tried to call them to cancel my account but it was Sunday so they were closedI called Monday, cancelled my account, told them I wanted nothing to do with themTuesday I got an email that a scale had shipped!! I looked at ,y bank account and they had taken $from my account!!! I called again today, they said my account was closed but I didn't cancel my orderI NEVER ORDERED IT because it was too expensiveThey told me when it arrives I should refuse itThis company is BAD newsI'm so sorry I bit and they reeled me right in

I should have read the fine printThere is a mandatory monthly fee to maintain your accountIf you want the ability to print your stamps, you must remain subscribed Also, I thought I was buying actual stamps, but when when they arrived in the mail, I realized what I really bought was fancy stickers that I still needed to purchase postage for Not only that, but then when I went to go print the postage onto the sticker sheets, the got all messed upSo, I had to send it a letter with the sheets of misprints through the mail in order to get it examined for a refund A total waste of time and money in my personal experience

I paid for a year of service fees without realizing it I guess I signed up and didn't know to cancel the free trial? I hate those business models - I wish they refunded me when they saw I never used it Even though I know it's legally my fault for the sign up, and not noticing the charge so long - I feel duped and scammed

I responded to and on line offer by stamps .com in oct After several tries I was not getting the product they promised which was on line stampsThey charged my credit card just the same $After several phone attempts where I was on hold for minutes Plus On the day That I was able to talk to a live person it took minutes plus on hold and was told no refunds I reqa supervisor and was put on hold againminutes latter I gave up and hung up

Stamps.com is a scam, no legitimate business service refuse to mail a receipt for monthly services and does not allow you to cancel onlineThey were charging me $unbeknownst to me until reviewing my credit card account laterCalling in to cancel they then make a hard pitch to continue the service -- now am worried I will have to watch this closely as it appears from others out there they do not always cancel your account even if they say soAnd in the fine print it says your account is active for a whole year after -- my guess is if you even sign back in they use that as an excuse to reboot the account

I was completely unaware that I had an account since I never used stamps.com to purchase ANYTHINGI do recall browsing, but I ultimately decided that it was far too expensive and inconvenient for me to order anything from thereThey charged me $to my bank account in an unauthorized transactionAfter seeing that they had charged my bank account, I called and asked for an explanation and refundI asked them to close the account which was made using my information, and they wouldn't do it! It took me yelling over their associate to get them to "suspend" my account, and they refused to issue me a refundIt's a total scamI am working with my bank to get help getting my money back

The issue has generally been resolved, but there was a charge on my account months after cancellingI cancelled because of the "negative option" for their free trial period and realized I was being charged $15.99/mo for about monthsServes me right for not checking my credit card account with diligence, but this new charge several months after cancelling is disconcerting and completely and utterly illegalIf it were more than $15.99, I would have no problems calling a lawyer and suing the $h$t out of this companyThe fact that they had my credit card information after I cancelled is terrifying

As with the other reviews that I now read, I got scammed by these people Please do not do business with Stamps.com unless you are ready to have money taken from you each month for absolutely no reason I got sucked into some kind of "free trial" and didn't notice until months later that they had taken $from me each month Shame on them There is no way to cancel your account online After a minute hold, I reached a person to cancel and they tried their hardest to keep me paying them each month for the "privilege" of having an account with them Finally, they agreed to cancel my account and when I asked to have at least one month refunded, they said no After pushing to speak with a supervisor, they made the generous offer to credit half of one month!

Abysmal, dishonest scam If you're reading this, your experience has been similar to mine
However, after several hours of waiting on hold, arguing, getting frustrated, and on several occasionals "transfered" (i.e.: disconnected), I finally managed to cancel my account AND get a full refund:
HERE'S HOW YOU GET A REFUND:
don't bother with the electronic maze of menus call:
XXX XXX XXXX and select option #
that should get you one with one of these people: http://blog.stamps.com/category/customer-support/
this may require 1-transfers up the management chain, but as you go, make sure to get everyone's full name (they're obligated to give you first name and last initial) get a call back number as you go they WILL disconnect you deliberately along the waydon't give up!
Tell them you are recording the conversation Enforce that you will and/or have contacts the Revdex.com, postmaster general's office, and that you are informed you have grounds for a class action suit (indeed, you do) Mention them by first name and last initial repeatedly Remind them they are being recorded Eventually they will comply, close the fraudulent account and issue a full refund
Finally, tell them that, if following the refund they call/email with additional offers/discounts/incentives/ploys, you will file harassment charges This should avoid all the follnonsense people seem to be bombarded with

This company charges you $15.99 a month which is something I would never agree to do. Three months later I get a collection notice (nothing in-between) saying I owe for months that I didn't have the service after requesting to cancel. when I call the company they insist I never cancelled the account.

I signed up for a free trial account, but could never get my computer settings to work appropriately, so I never used it. Forgetting (uh-huh, that's what they count on) that I needed to go back in and cancel, I find now that I have been charged $15.99 every month since last September for an account that was never used. When I called to explain and ask for a refund, I was refused -- even though they could see that nothing was ever purchased. Instead they tried to sell me on the $4.99/month plan. If This is NOT a good customer relations policy. $15.99 x 6 months is a lot of money to me. I will not be singing complimentary praises about stamps.com.

I responded to and on line offer by stamps .com in oct 2015. After several tries I was not getting the product they promised which was on line stamps. They charged my credit card just the same . $15.99 After several phone attempts where I was on hold for 20 minutes Plus . On the day That I was able to talk to a live person it took 22 minutes plus on hold and was told no refunds . I req. a supervisor and was put on hold again. 15 minutes latter I gave up and hung up.

They scammed me into paying $15.99 a month for a service that I did not use or find helpful whatsoever. They were able to refund me for my last month's payment but fought me on getting all of them refunded. I had to speak with a supervisor who was only able to refund a few of my charges. She was nice, helpful, and professional, but I was dissatisfied that they did not alert me that my "free trial" ended and I would be billed monthly. Overall, their way of business seems sneaky and unreliable.

I was sucked into their claim that I could try Stamps.com for free and get free stamps.
They wanted my credit card, sent me a packet of unusable stuff which I recycled. There were no free stamps.
Suddenly there is a $16 fee from them on my card! And when I tried to quit Stamps they still are demanding even more money from me.
They are a scam and should not pretend they are the USPS with their logos and wording.
I can't believe Revdex.com accredits them. You are not doing your homework.

I went to stamps.com because I had to mail a box back to china. I thought it was an official part of the USPS due to the image on the website, misleading, but okay it was like 13 bucks to mail it off, so I did it. And I thought I was done. Little did I know, that I was to be hit with a monthly charge starting that month...that was three months ago. So okay, I got hit with 15.99, and another 15.99 a few weeks later because it was a new month...they got me, I didnt read the fine print....my fault I guess right? So I cancel the account by calling the phone number, which gives me a message telling me, "YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN CANCELED", which apparently means something different in El Segundo CA... And once again I think, okay good, I am done. No more fees...WRONG!!!!!!! I check my online statement this month , and what do I see for the third month in a row [The first month was $10 for some odd reason?] ? 15.99 charge from stamps.com, for what, I can not say. Since I canceled the account last month and I do not use the service at all! fool me twice, and the third time im filing complaints. If I had to guess I would say that when I logged into the account to DELETE my credit card information, they REACTIVATED my fee/subscription, which if they did is REALLY SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICE. I NEVER signed on for a monthly service, I wanted to send a package ONE TIME, and be done without going to the post office. Next time I will just use USPS.COM AND SAVE MYSELF THE HEADACHE. If you are looking to buy some postage, BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY'S SHADY PRACTICES!!!!
