I waited over weeks to get my moneyThey gave every excuse in the book when I asked when I was gonna get my moneyThey lied over and over againThen when I got the police invoked and told them I was going to file a complaint with the DMV dealership unit they all of a sudden came up with the moneyThey are not to be trustedI am not the only one they have done this too Call the DMV investigation unit before doing any thing with this business!!!!
Never Ever try to sell your car through standard pre-ownedI was trying to sell my car through craiglist couple of months back, then I got a call from standard preowned people,they told they can sell my car, and couple of people came to my apartment and picked it up.Till they picked everything went fine,
but afterwards I had very very bad experience with these people.When I tried calling to know the status(no one picked for multiple times and no reply for my voice messages), they replied in very harsh manner telling I should not call them and disturb them!!!, if its sold they wll call me!I waited for months, then I decided to go to their shop to check the status.Car was in bad shape (car heater wa not turning off)Initially they told that they cannot do anything on this issue and asked me to take my car backBut after talking to couple of their peopole,they agreed to service my car and sell itAs I did not get any status update for next one month I again went to see the car(this time to different location), this time I was really shocked to see the condition,
it was kept as if in junkyard, flat tires, and somebody turned on the head lamp and battery was dead,and to solve the heater issue mentioned above, they removed the dash board and broke the switches in the dash board and instead of solving the issue they cut the dash board power wires inside(cut wires were popping out of the vent).When I showed this to them their response was to contact their customer care.I was completely frustrated talking to them and I have to take back my car from them without solving all the issues created by them

I want to start by saying thank you to standard pre-owned, they called me because I had my Pontiac for sale when they went through how they operate I was like no way. I tried to sell my vehicle on my own. My car sat for two months when I then called them back, I didn't want to deal with the hassle any more . I'm a signal mother of two and have no time and I really needed the money . when they picked up my car and put it on their lot it took less then three weeks to sell . I went to drop of the title and they issued me the check for what I was asking for it . this is an amazing business they have and not to charge me any money for selling my vehicle is great
I would caution private parties against using this consignment lot to market their car. I signed an agreement with very precise terms as regards price and length of time for marketing my vehicle. When the time was up I tried to retrieve my vehicle but was asked to give them time to clear up all the paperwork as my car was sold so I agreed to the end of the week but was put off once again. I was promised a promissory note but when I received it there were many things wrong with it so I went to retrieve my car and it was gone and they had no payout for me on the promised due date. In the end I received all my money but only after intervention by the Sheriff's office. SO DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM
