I have already spoke to two different customer service representatives who promised me a refund when I opened up a dispute with my credit card.Baris K*** on August ***andLaShanna B*** on August ***I understand your procedures, but as I stated to them I had planned to have these sunglasses by yesterday when I left for my vacationI am now in another state and don't have access to the funds I would otherwise use to purchase a new pairIt's been over a week since my initial complaint and there has nothing that has been accomplishedI would like a refund for a product that I did not receive!

Stanley Steemer did perform air duct cleaning at my home; however, through their carelessness, they damaged one of my doors. They demanded payment on the day of the cleaning, and I told them I would pay after they replaced my door. The door they replaced did not fit properly, so they over routed the hinge joints and pounded my door trim, so the door would just close. I told them that the door would not close correctly if they did not install it correctly by trimming the door edge. They ignored me. A week later when I received a summary bill without any itemizations and which seemed too high, I immediately called them and told them that my door stuck, and it still needed to be fixed. They said they would schedule a carpenter and call me back. They did not call me back. Some months later, they sent another summary bill which seemed too high, and again I immediately called them and stated that my door still stuck and needed to be fixed. Again, they said they would schedule a carpenter and call me back. They did not call me back. I recently received another summary bill and a letter stating that they were going to turn me in to the PA State Police and take me to court where I would have to pay all court fees and costs if I didn't pay them money now. I called them and stated that I still wanted my door fixed. They made several threats and stated that they would only consider fixing my door after I paid them money. I told them to fix my door first, and then I would pay. I also offered to have the door fixed at my cost if they would adjust my bill to what we both deemed fair. I also stated that I wanted a detailed bill because the bill seemed too high. They told me there was a billing mistake on their end and they would correct it. I said thank you, but I still wanted the door they damaged fixed. It has been over a year, and they still have not fixed my door. I will gladly pay if they fix my door or adjust my bill to what we both think is fair. I do not believe they intend to correct the damage they caused.

To Whom it May Concern:I am writing in reference to complaint ID *** submitted on 9/21/The original cleaning was on 9/14/17, and then we returned on 9/16/to inspect the carpet and see if re-cleaning would resolve the issuesOn the revisit on 9/16/the technicians took a few
pictures that clearly show that the carpets are clean without stainsIt also shows a condition known as pile reversal or shadowingThat is a term referring to the pile of the carpet is lying in different directions which is a common characteristic of plush carpets and is not considered a defect nor is it caused by cleaningThis allows light to reflect differently depending which angle it is viewed giving it a light to dark appearance of the nap making these areas of light and dark just variations of the nap of the carpet.I have enclosed the definition of shadowing from the Carpet and Rug Institute ManualI am certified by the Carpet and Rug Institute as an Independent Claims Inspector.There was also mention of colored stains on the carpetWith our cleaning we use we use the customer's water and a mild detergentThere is nothing on our trucks with dye or coloringAny stains had to have been on the carpets previouslyOur cleaning does not leave dyes in the carpet.I have also included the picture the crew took on our revisit and I do not see anything wrong with the carpetTherefore we will not refund the cleaning cost which appears to have been done in a workman like manner.Thank you,Timothy T***President

Stanley Steemer truly regrets the experience our customer has had during her fire loss. Stanley Steemer’s goal, no matter the job, is to provide outstanding customer service with a through and timely job. The perception of our customer indicates we have not fulfilled these
expectationsRegardless of what was or was not done, the perception of our customer is that we feel short. We will not try to defend or deny any of the charges laid out. This would serve no purpose and would keep us from the true goal, which is resolving the matter for our customerWe are in contact with the insurance company that hired us to ensure any invoice we submit is accurate and in line with our contractAs far as the utility bill associated with the HVAC running without permission, we would be happy to consider a reimbursement of this bill, if the bill is provided to us. In addition, we would like to have the air duct system cleaned by our *** certified air duct cleaning division to ensure there are no contaminates in the duct systemAgain, we are sorry that we were not able to meet the high standards we set for ourselves during this customer experience. We also hope that this will resolve this complaint

Barneys New York has refunded *** *** in full, including merchandise and shipping costs

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The response provided by Stanley Steemer does not determine a resolution in any way to the matter at hand At no time was it stated that the carpet was "new" It was stated that this was a new home to us with perfectly fine carpet The date of the carpet cleaning was our first day in our new home For a company that prides itself in its ability to provide great customer service as well as top notch cleaning, this was definitely not provided to us In actuality, we were given very poor customer service and extremely poor results in our carpet cleaning In response to our claims, *** does not take any responsibility for what happened during the time that his company was cleaning our carpet, rather pushes the blame We have had our carpets professionally cleaned in our previous home several times and have had to use spot remover frequently due to having small children and a dog Never have we EVER had a situation where we have had discoloration to our carpet from cleaning I find this to be a convenient statement so that Stanley Steemer does not have to take responsibility In the response back from ***, it states that he was out of the office from Friday to Monday (we called on Friday) When I spoke to the office the 2nd time, we were told that he would be coming back to the office from the Stevens Point office by 3: At no time did we get any information that we would not get a response until Monday Good customer service would have had at least a response back to us on Friday - whether it be from *** or someone else stating that the matter would be fully looked into on Monday This is how customer service works For a company that states they pride themselves in their customer service, the amount of calls should not have had to happen and calls back would have been madeTrue pride in customer service would allow for responsibility to have been taken for a poor job The response received does not rectify the situation and does not respond to the claim that we should not have to pay for carpets that were left completely saturated (as if water was not sucked out at all) and carpets that were left with many, many discolored spotsIf pictures of the discolored spots are encouraged or needed, pictures shall be provided

If proof can be provided that we did indeed "ruin" the carpets with a professional carpet inspector, Stanley Steemer would take action in repairing the areas as neededUntil that time, Stanley Steemer cannot refund, replace or repair and floors that may, or may not be damaged by [us]I have tried to explain what caused the spots in the home, but have failed get the customer to understand what they are from

From the start you could tell that James and Alicia did not want to be here. They finished four rooms in 30 minutes. But when they were done the carpet was soaking wet. I asked Alicia about it and she said that that is all they could get up. It seemed she kept mentioning the dog hair and blaming it on that. It took me several questions to get her to understand that there was too much water left in the carpet. She said they could extract again but she thought that was the best it would get. I said forget it. After they left we took out our Hoover carpet cleaning machine and began extracting. We got 3 quarts of water out of two bedrooms and are still working; all that from an inexpensive, non-professional machine.
