Steak N Shake

Review: My daughter & I stopped here to eat dinner at this restaurant on 6/8/2014 & had the worst experience ever since we've been dinning there! The place was not crowded however service was extremely slow & lousy. It was dirty, from the wet muddy look from the floor to the table we was sat at (then wiped after the fact), to the smell when you come thru the door! We can barely get service as there was on three servers who complained repeatedly of needing help & being understaffed! I had to keep asking for things even of the norm such as a child kit/menu for my kid, 20 minutes to get a glasses of water, & we asked for and waited for everything individually from straws to silverware, & we waited for milkshakes so long that it was melted as if we ordered cups of milk & they was in to go cups as if we wasn't sitting there an hour & they charged me for 3 shakes when I only ordered two & had a buy 1 get 1 coupon for that that was taken & not at all acknowledged along with the shakes we make clear we left behind & no longer wanted! I asked for condiments on the side, I got served a sandwich oozing out what I asked not to & so I never enjoyed it & when I go to pay for what I never got to enjoy & tell a manager what had happened I spoke to [redacted] who acted as if I was bothering him by telling him my experience & that I was well over charged for the meal! [redacted] told me he didn't care to hear what I was saying & he would return my money back which was $14.95!! He then finds out I used a debit card & asked for it back proceeding to print a *REFUND* receipt yet in the amount of $11.75 that still has never been returned as I have a receipt stating other wise! I spoke to a kitchen supervisor [redacted] who told me I couldn't possibly have money returned, then called customer service to be called back & lied to by another manager [redacted] who assured me along with [redacted] & [redacted] that they was returning my full bill in cash thru certified mail & [redacted] so called tracked it last but yet I haven't received my cash yet!!!Desired Settlement: Give me my money back!! It should of been replaced soon as it was taken off!! It was a lousy experience & the food was presented gross!! Beyond that I've been forced to wait all this time waiting on THREE managers lying assuring me that there is cash being returned [redacted], [redacted], & [redacted]! Please no coupons most & certainly after putting me threw all of this to be recognized as a regular paying customer I care not to eat at your place of business again or anything associated with you!!!
